Wow, can we all take a second to appreciate that it took around 8 minutes to get us emotionally attached to the characters? I mean, it wasn't as sad as the opening for Disney's 'UP' but it was totally going in that direction. I felt feels... Also I want to find the right word to describe the beauty of this game, but I can't seem to think of one that would fairly represent it's gorgeous luminous look.

Yeah normally a game like this I would buy but I can't afford it right now other games seem to have taken priority. I would also recommend game that are more story driven like this and are more for the "experience" if you are going to play it to play it before you watch someone play it. Although if you are going to watch someone play it Cry's voice and calm nature fit perfectly for it.
Julita Minkštimaitė It's not very long, depending on if you want to find everything it will be a little extended, but if he goes straight through the story it can be done in 4-5 hours, I 100% in a little over 7 hours. And the length of the game is perfect. It told the story it wanted to tell without stretching it too much.

I'm most likely to never open the description box of a video, however, when it comes to frigging Cry I can't help but to look forward to read and appreciate the time and effort he takes to write each one of them. It has come to a point where I am more thrilled to read than to actually see the video. (Although, I still enjoy the fuck out of every single one of those great and entertaining videos). Also-Bears are fucking smart and have been known to roll rocks into bear traps to set off the trap and eat the bait in safety. Cry, I don't know if you find out later in this video (I just started watching) but Ori is indeed female. :) Later in the game I believe they address Ori as female. Also, I will add that you should DEFINITELY unlock the traits that let you see where stuff is on the map ASAP-- or explore very well BEFORE you finish the game. Unfortunately, you cannot go back after you're done, so if you miss all the upgrades and such, well... you have to start a whole new game. :/ Honestly, the lack of replayability on an existing save is the only thing (along with no new game + mode) that really ruined this game for me. Other than that, I adored everything about it. :) Also, is anyone else reminded of Stitch from Lilo and Stitch when they look at Ori? xD

Lexi • I hate it when games do that, why lock you out of paths, it makes the game feel limited, especially if you miss an item and no NG+ is even worse, games should have that as a default option, people who want to start fresh can just go back to new game anyways so it wouldn't exactly hurt dood :(

It's just a weird thing with NG+ I get that not everyone likes it but the fact that you don't have to click on NG+ means that it wouldn't hurt to add it so that people who do like it can just play through it all easily and enjoy the story dood.

I don't usually cry in games like this. I didn't cry in the last of us, the walking dead, child of light, Hatoful boyfriend, not a single one. I loved every one of those games and the crippling feelings they brought. This game was no exception, I did not cry, but the beautiful, mesmerizing art style and cinematography combined with the astonishingly well composed classical instrumental soundtrack was enough to send chills down my entire body and fully immerse my mind into a completely tranquil state of absolute bliss and vehemence. I feel as if that was an accomplishment superior to that of bringing tears to my eyes. I love games like this, games that raise the bar for every game out there, and truly embrace the fact that a game can be a work of art, and in this case, a masterpiece.

You helped me imeseaurabley during the hardest time of my life with this playthrough. Just after I found you years back I was in an accident that landed me in a coma. When I came too, nothing in the world could bring me peace of mind, let alone sleep. I was suffering from severe PTSD, terrified to close my eyes thinking I would never open them again. In the coma, there were no people or human sounds. I started to seek out the comforting sounds of people talking, but only really knew Let’s Players (not necessarily known for their chill, soothing reactions). I stumbled across this playlist, anxiously searching on my phone in the darkened hospital ward. You managed to both entertain me which distracted me from the pain and also soothe me. I finally slept for the first time since the coma. For years after, in the long recovery from that episode this playlist was my bright and warm voiced friend in the dark. Since then ive recovered my health, sleep effortlessly and have watched/rewatched every video in your library countless times (awake FYI 😉). Thank you for being yourself, so deeply chill and entertaining at the same time. (You’re often hard on yourself and say things like you don’t do all that much for the world at the end of the day. Just know that you affect people more deeply than you may realize. Keep being you 💚)

Plus I discovered other funny and pleasant gamers to watch and enjoy. But Cry was the first TH-camr I've ever watched and had me hooked; an inspirational and incredible man. Creativent *Extreme spoilers, you have been warned!* Because Nibel's light (Sein) - or should I its heart - was taken away by Kuro (the black owl) in a fit of rage, due to the Spirit Tree's light killing her offspring during the light show (it was only trying to find Ori/it's child). Doing so caused Nibel to fall into ruin, and killed many of its inhabitants. She still hunts any remnants of the tree's light to this day, as she is protecting her last child (they are creatures of the night/darkness). I guess you could say the forest is blind because of the darkness that has swept over the land, as well as Kuro hunting every last source of the tree's light to extinction. Without light, all you see is darkness, which is akin to being blind.
Creativent Because the giant spirit tree lost "Sein", its "light and its eyes" ( 15:52 ). All of the Forest is connected with the spirit tree. When the spirit tree lost its "eye", the whole forest went blind.
This game's atmosphere is SO incredible. I'm completely in love with it... And Cry's commentary didn't seem at all weird to me, I love how naturally he reacts to everything ^ ^ ♥
A year ago, when this video came out, I watched up to around 8:50 and decided that Cry was right and I should experience the rest of the game myself. I wasn't able to get it until a week or two ago, and now I'm glad I waited because I got the Definitive Edition of the game. As of current I am a little over 90% finished with the game, and it is an absolutely amazing experience. I'm glad to start watching this series, albeit a year late, so I can watch Cry experience the same thing. :D

oh.my.god. that is so friggin adorable. First of all the way they made the animation work so well with that fantastic detailed artstyle is so flippin cool. I definately love the story too, it's sad i can't really get this game myself in the near future since the game store near me don't really restock with amazing games such as this so often, but oh geeze I'm so going to follow this series for however long it goes on, hopefully to the end of the game.

You helped me imeseaurabley during the hardest time of my life with this playthrough. Just after I found you years back I was in an accident that landed me in a coma. When I came too, nothing in the world could bring me peace of mind, let alone sleep. I was suffering from severe PTSD, terrified to close my eyes thinking I would never open them again. In the coma, there were no people or human sounds. I started to seek out the comforting sounds of people talking, but only really knew Let’s Players (not necessarily known for their chill, soothing reactions). I stumbled across this playlist, anxiously searching on my phone in the darkened hospital ward. You managed to both entertain me which distracted me from the pain and also soothe me. I finally slept for the first time since the coma.
For years after, in the long recovery from that episode this playlist was my bright and warm voiced friend in the dark. Since then ive recovered my health, sleep effortlessly and have watched/rewatched every video in your library countless times (awake FYI 😉). Thank you for being yourself, so deeply chill and entertaining at the same time.

Ron Glenn You know, I'm not really sure. I guess watching the same gamer over and over again made things a little dull for me, plus the recent games Cry played just looked rather boring. Plus I discovered other funny and pleasant gamers to watch and enjoy.
But Cry was the first TH-camr I've ever watched and had me hooked; an inspirational and incredible man. He was always hold a special place in my heart than any other gamer.

Now I'm just waiting for Cry to start Will of The Wisps so I can blasphemously spoil the entire game for myself because I have no control. Am currently trying to get the no death achievement but I highly doubt I'll be able to unlock that any time soon.

Because Nibel's light (Sein) - or should I its heart - was taken away by Kuro (the black owl) in a fit of rage, due to the Spirit Tree's light killing her offspring during the light show (it was only trying to find Ori/it's child). Doing so caused Nibel to fall into ruin, and killed many of its inhabitants. She still hunts any remnants of the tree's light to this day, as she is protecting her last child (they are creatures of the night/darkness). I guess you could say the forest is blind because of the darkness that has swept over the land, as well as Kuro hunting every last source of the tree's light to extinction. Without light, all you see is darkness, which is akin to being blind.

Because the giant spirit tree lost "Sein", its "light and its eyes" ( 15:52 ). All of the Forest is connected with the spirit tree. When the spirit tree lost its "eye", the whole forest went blind.

This game's atmosphere is SO incredible. I'm completely in love with it... And Cry's commentary didn't seem at all weird to me, I love how naturally he reacts to everything ^ ^ ♥
A year ago, when this video came out, I watched up to around 8:50 and decided that Cry was right and I should experience the rest of the game myself. I wasn't able to get it until a week or two ago, and now I'm glad I waited because I got the Definitive Edition of the game. As of current I am a little over 90% finished with the game, and it is an absolutely amazing experience. I'm glad to start watching this series, albeit a year late, so I can watch Cry experience the same thing. :D

oh.my.god. that is so friggin adorable. First of all the way they made the animation work so well with that fantastic detailed artstyle is so flippin cool. I definately love the story too, it's sad i can't really get this game myself in the near future since the game store near me don't really restock with amazing games such as this so often, but oh geeze I'm so going to follow this series for however long it goes on, hopefully to the end of the game.
