IMHO I liked the videos with voiceover much more. I also like your "fast forward" video editing style of previous two episodes, so we get all important bits and we dont need to get bored by slow paced gameplay of this game. You are doing good job mate 😊
It is always more satisfying and fun to watch something when a person on the video knows what they are doing. Making a playlist (basically a folder) for your videos is also a nice touch. Keep it up!
Just found your channel, I'm loving these videos, Glad that a new video pop up 7 minutes after I finished the last one. I normally don't subscribe to random channels, but this series have potential. I love how this mode changes completely how the game works, played the game years ago and stop midway because I was having trouble with the life crystal I think, the red ingredient, now in the new version, I started playing again, and I'm loving, just made the red crystal for the first time and the philosophy stone is so hard to make that I decided to find give the game a time. Edit: My personal opinion on the editing before or after the video, I think the voice over it's a great format, and it flows better with the whole purpose of the video, I normally prefer live recording audio but your impatience to do something are very obvious, To be honest I think the optimal way of recording with your editing style would be doing a voice-over in another layer and if you want to comment something you can pick the audio file but if you are fast forwarding you don't need to leave the speed-up audio, most times when your voice gets faster breaks the flow of the video, but that is my personal opinion. Resuming, do live for something's if something unexpected happens but focus on the voice-over, the flow of the video is too fast for you to try to do everything at once and splitting the job with future you in edit would feel better
You can also directly make a 5-effect potion, which covers the successes for 2, 3, and 4 effects at the same time. This is how I do it to score multiple successes with one potion. 😅
I like your editing style! I've never seen this game before. Your video appeared on my recommended and seeing you fly through menus makes me want to learn this!
these videos have shown up on my timeline every time there's a new one, and i always click on em. figured i should maybe subscribe so it's more likely to happen :)
Gotta be the only difficulty where the seed perk is worth it lmao, I found it rather annoying when I speced into it and tried to have one of each plant :D
A tip i suggest when applying growth potions is to throw the amount needed into the middle of the ground and then apply the wild growth, its easier imo.
@Beast10x1 I don't mean a hotkey, I mean flicking them from the potion menu into the middle and then distributing them among the plants so you don't have to drag them very far to each plant
I was wondering from the past videos how you were so good at throwing ingredients directly into the cauldron, good to know that shift and control are short cuts! I'm not sure what the calculation actually is for the merchants and I could be totally wrong but in my own playthrough (only grandmaster) I feel like adding potions to counteract the price of things for merchants (buying alchemy machine and salt recipes and putting potions on offer to lower the price) is surprisingly powerful with haggling and it might be applying the haggling bonus to multiple things or in such a way that you get relatively more value than just getting the gold from the merchant and then buying the machine.
If you're trading potions while buying something, the haggling bonus both discounts the thing you're buying, and increases the price of what you're selling.

that would have been smart, I already recorded the 4 effect one though...
tight editing, not annoying, not wasting my time.
already subscribed on the last episode earlier.
am curious where this channel will go.
Everything just feels so valuable in suffering mode. Love that you know your shit on the potion map lol
11:15 thanks for keeping the megalovania bit
plz continue to slow it down proportionally to how much unhurried haggling slows down haggling :)

The magic of editing accounts for a bit of that, haha
"Now we need to avoid the corner"
*goes into the corner*
Anyway, enjoy the vids, good job
God Damn this really is Suffering mode. Well best of luck to you, alchemist.
Good luck! Loving the videos so far!

Great video im glad you fell on my main page enjoying the series

@@Jerry2pc there is now easy way to throw them out, no hotkey so I find it easier to drag, might eventually make a script though

im verry happy for finding you bro thank yo
Been watching since episode 1, commenting live is a little more fun to listen to imo.

I haven't really tried that, ill see. because I know when buying you get 50% off, but when selling its a 1.5x mult (on veryhard) so they are different

I have confirmed it does not matter. proof = th-cam.com/video/Sip2bBc1kjA/w-d-xo.html
