Even after everything I come back to this series, I cant explain the amount of comfort it gives me. If I’m sick I watch these videos and it brings me back to the first time watching this play through and the pure joy it gave me. @@necksnapper3575 Those were my first two playthroughs lol they're my favorite clans. Honestly though besides the dialogue Malkavians are easy mode, Auspex, Dementation AND Obfuscate make you basically Murderface McNinja. And Nosferatu Aren't bad if you don't mind missing out on certain things because you are a walking masquerade violation. But again the disciplines can mostly mitigate that and make you pretty tough in combat as well. Real hard mode is playing like Ventrue or Toreador...
@@Wasparcher1 It's also best to play Malkavian's first just because their dialogue is full of spoilers that make way to much sense if you already know what's going on. Takes a bit of the fun out of it. Also, always do the tutorial even if you know the game, cause you get some stuff out of it that you miss out on if you skip.
@@Wasparcher1 Toreador is hard mode? just beat the game with a toreador and blood and Combat was no problem really either with presence and bloodbuff. SOme bosses where diffcult and required use of the flamethrower though. also didnt figure out bloodpacks were basically healing potions until the game was almost over either.

I'm going to enjoy the series again, because they're that good and I've had the time to come to terms. To de-tangle that, no, I won't be a bad person for enjoying them, just like people aren't bad for enjoying music created by celebrities who have done terrible things to others. My heart breaks for those effected. . . And somewhere. . . I genuinely hope Cry is doing better. Mentally, and through his actions.

I agree. Despite everything, I miss his playthroughs. What happened was bad, and it's honestly still confusing to me. I really wish he'd come back, just because he made good content, and I believe everyone deserves a second chance. I don't think he will, though, and maybe that's for the best anyway. He always did struggle with his mental health, and the TH-cam gig is such a grind. I make due with CJUGames nowadays. He's the closest thing to Cry's content I've found since everything happened. Revisiting this playthrough is a treat, but it makes me sad.

i have tried my best to not watch anything of cry's, even though i have been watching him since I was 9. i hate what he did, but i miss the playthroughs i knew and loved. so, yeah, i agree. this, and the dishonored series are some of his best
+Scout Scouts I'm pretty sure he's actually using a mod. The original game has some semi-decent graphics but everything is rather... blurry. I use a mod to make it look almost as fantastic as Cry has it in his videos. You can find out the mod info on Steam. A lot of people who wrote reviews added a graphics mod for the game in it.
I would just like to point out if you've watched the whole playthrough of this: You know the song at the end that Cry said he knows (when it was playing earlier in the club)? That's Swamped by Lacuna Coil, and a cool little thing in this game is that the sunflower picture over the character's bed in her apartment (around 11:30~11:40) is the album cover for Lacuna Coil's album that featured Swamped. Idk. I thought that was pretty neat. Lol.

I rewatch this a lot. I laugh every time Cry tries to hide from the drug dealers in the vent and they find him anyway. It just about sums up this entire Let's Play: Cry trying and failing to play stealth.
I hope the malkavian woman looks like that vampire from that dream I had in my early high school days. Here's how the dream went: a female vampire with really long wavy black hair and crazy in her eyes climbed a large building in the darkest of night, broke into a bedroom and drank the blood of Fireman Sam while he slept. To this day I can't understand it.
This series is a comfort watch, it's a goof, gaff & a laugh. Just Cry & viewers able to enjoy a lp. We all know what happened. This is one of the few good things so, let's enjoy another rewatch of this great series.
I played the table top version. One of us was a Malkav who had several forms of synesthesia and a stutter. Colors were textures, textures were flavors, and flavors were colors. he was a masterful piece of fucked up art. Also may have had multiple personalities...I dunno, there was a mask, shit got weird.

This series was my introduction to VTM. I hate what happened, what he did, and I’m still massively disappointed in him as a person but for some reason I felt really drawn to revisit this let’s play. Just hard to forget what happened.

After beating this game 2 times in twice as many days in preparation for the second game I am now rewatching this series. Such a good game, I just hope the second one lives up to it.
Coming back to this playthrough and it feels like eons later. I got into the game back then but had a shitty computer so I couldn't run it very well until recently when I remembered I bought it. I've grown so much since time passed and I remember bits and pieces of Cry playing this game as I play it myself. Some parts are a bit fuzzy, but when I get into the very deep parts (insert LA sewers here) I get vivid flashbacks to watching Cry play and his reactions. I don't remember Cry's opinion on Nines, LaCroix, the Sheriff, Jack (aka Jake the Dog, Bender, and Rico the Penguin lol), Skelter, Damsel, Beckett, and so on and so on and so on, but I can't wait to rewatch this series after putting so many hours into the game itself recently. I'm also getting *heavily* into the lore, which is way better and way healthier than playing Overwatch all day and wanting to rip my head off. As a grad student in IT with no team to train for (collegiate) till the fall semester, no friends really to play with as they're also either college grads or working while in college, I might get bold enough to plot out some games with VTM tabletop... or get a thousand hours in bloodlines. Whichever comes first. I highly, highly recommend this game and the decades of amazing content that trail behind it.
Malkavians are able to hear whispers in their head that can sometimes reveal insight into who they are talking to. At 15:23, when Cry speaks to the nervous guy in the suit, the whispers show up. I can’t make out what it’s saying, however.

I love this playthrough. I legitimately am binge watching this for the 3rd time. The game itself is acually not bad for the year it was made, and Cry's commentary makes it so much better.
Does anyone else use the infinite skill points glitch to be basically a godlike malkavian with multiple personalities? Mine saved a dying women's life 5 minutes after threatening to disembowel a man if he didn't give me his watch.

Coming back to this playthrough and it feels like eons later. I got into the game back then but had a shitty computer so I couldn't run it very well until recently when I remembered I bought it. I've grown so much since time passed and I remember bits and pieces of Cry playing this game as I play it myself. Some parts are a bit fuzzy, but when I get into the very deep parts (insert LA sewers here) I get vivid flashbacks to watching Cry play and his reactions. I don't remember Cry's opinion on Nines, LaCroix, the Sheriff, Jack (aka Jake the Dog, Bender, and Rico the Penguin lol), Skelter, Damsel, Beckett, and so on and so on and so on, but I can't wait to rewatch this series after putting so many hours into the game itself recently. I'm also getting *heavily* into the lore, which is way better and way healthier than playing Overwatch all day and wanting to rip my head off. As a grad student in IT with no team to train for (collegiate) till the fall semester, no friends really to play with as they're also either college grads or working while in college, I might get bold enough to plot out some games with VTM tabletop... or get a thousand hours in bloodlines. Whichever comes first.
I highly, highly recommend this game and the decades of amazing content that trail behind it.

Malkavians are able to hear whispers in their head that can sometimes reveal insight into who they are talking to. At 15:23, when Cry speaks to the nervous guy in the suit, the whispers show up. I can’t make out what it’s saying, however.

vampire the masquerade bloodlines, one of my favorite games. I wish there was a sequel to this, but I doubt that will happen
so wish he would have said something earlier and asked for help to avoid getting into such a shitty position. this series is what made me love cry the most and i started watching streamers bc of his twitch!! miss him to death tbh, hope he’s alright keeping to himself out there and getting mental help cuz guys like this are hard to find. he’d be up there with jerma if he’d have just not done irreparable damage :,/
I love this playthrough. I legitimately am binge watching this for the 3rd time. The game itself is acually not bad for the year it was made, and Cry's commentary makes it so much better.

Does anyone else use the infinite skill points glitch to be basically a godlike malkavian with multiple personalities? Mine saved a dying women's life 5 minutes after threatening to disembowel a man if he didn't give me his watch.

Someone is making an Antitribu Clan mod, it will allow you to play as Tzimisce, Lasombra, Old Clan Tzimisce, Ravnos, Giovanni, Samedi, and Nagaraja it also adds new companions.
