MuschelMann Klaus it took me 30 hours to finish Ori lol (and that’s just the campaign)
I would say Ori with everything completed on hard mode would be 35- 50 hours for the average gamer
And Hollow knight with everything completed would be 75 hours + (maybe even longer)
It says the average play through is 10 hours but if you go into websites and into the comments of them you would see many people saying it took them over 20 hours to just finish the campaign

@@MilkandYoghurt wow ori only took me 15. I haven't played hollow knight but I'm pretty sure it's lo ger but man. I didn't even try to be a minimalist. By the end if the campaign I was 54% done with the entire game already. I guess I was just fast or somethin'

caused me genuine rage, cost a week of my life, for ori to turn into a TREE and go through puberty ?!!

    • @meep558

I believe it has something to do with a philisophical point of view on how life is short and that you must live it to the fullest and best you can, and that in the end. You cant stop it. Everybody must pass eventually :) I also find it AMAZING how this is a game where you properly get attached to the characters and feel their emotions as you go on!

Honestly the art style of both games is just perfect. And the little noises the characters make? I just wanna hug them all!
I like to think the games take place on an alien planet where the plants grow much larger and now there’s an infectious disease that makes animals hostile and is spread by thorny vines. The reason some animals are similar to Earth’s is because humans seeded the planet using earth plants and animals and left life to evolve.

As a casual gamer, my death count in this game is over 500+ and I have only just started playing. I am here after getting my first wisp and attempting the second. My advise to players like me who are prone to rage quit after so many unsuccessful attempts (I'm talking about you, hot cauldron), take a break. This game is best played with a clear and peaceful head. It also helps to familiarise yourself with all the abilities Ori is able to do. My early mistake was simply collecting them and not taking the time to learn when to use them. They're really helpful during the later parts of the game when the enemies are stronger and life/energy sources are few.
Having finished the the first game, I am so looking forward to finishing this!

@@solarywolfy3915 the boomerang is good if you care to get really good at the game since it takes very little time to use so you can hit with your other abilities. The problem is the combat is really easy on normal at least so it makes sense to take something more straight forward and easy to use. If it was harder then the boomerang would be a must.
