Dr. Parks, Thank you for time and knowledge you share! Can you talk about how this applies to Veteren owned business that manufacture Plant Based hair & skin care products.
To those who were asking about the money he’s making on his contract, you are missing the big picture. He has guaranteed meals, and created jobs for 5 years. This man just changed some lives. It’s bigger then the money.
How much generational wealth is he creating. Business is not a charity and that is why the government rewards you for job creation. Black people need to wake up and stop being entitled to other people creating opportunities for them. This man is helping himself and people want to know how much all this can make you. It’s all about money because with money you have real options.
oooh now I get it now, they have to do business with a small business. I saw where my local gov was asking for things like Microsoft licenses and I was like why you can't just go to Microsoft for them. And another facility was asking for dog food and I was like why you can't just go to Petsmart. Ok, I get it now
Great information. When listening his voice sounded muffled. I thought it was my iPhone so I switched to the computer and the same low-quality sound was there, I wish it wasn't breaking up. Kizzy's sound was clear but Brandon was breaking up, you have to almost make his words out.
This is so good. I love the way you are serving the community, supporting folks to work and providing dignity to Veterans that you serve. So good...Wishing you more success and blessings.
As a newbie to Government Contracting, Brandon's testimonial was so encouraging. I was EXCITED listening, and I do believe that IT IS POSSIBLE to win a contract. I'm so happy for your success Brandon, and may you win many more contracts in the future. Thank you Dr. Parks for sharing. This was amazing!
I recognized, almost immediately, that he was military. We just have a certain way about us, especially when it comes to change and adaptability. Great story of success. Thank you for sharing! Wishing him well on his journey. 💪🏽
Definitely bigger than the Contract🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥I would Love a Contract like this. Truly a Blessing Thank You for sharing and Thank You Dr Parks for this Platform. Cant Stop Wont Stop❤❤❤❤❤
Wow. This is inspirational. I own an investment company and I haven’t started operating, yet, but I have a UEI on SAM. The next step is to get registered, today. I have absolutely NO revenue for my business and I’ve been WANTING to know if I could just make some startup money through government contracts.
Lol literally does he need any subcontractors 😁 digging into transferring my experience as a farmer into food service for the VA! Dr. Kizzy is teasing me! 🤣🤣🤣💓 Just grabbed my pre order guide!
You're serving your country when many do it out of greed! He's doing it the right way! Ask questions and put yourself into the element rather than sit around, hoping all goes well. In the end, it's YOUR MONEY!
Feeding 100 people for a whole year for 3 meals a day at a average of $75 a day per person would come out to 2.74 million roughly per year. His contract is 4.7 million for 5 years. Abort mission sir. Im proud of you for getting the contract and learning the process and dropping information about the process but this is a bad deal. There is no profit in this particular contract.
It does not cost $75 per person to feed the homeless. That's probably the billable rate he's charging the govt. His actual costs are probably $25 per person.
This interview was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! His positive can-do attitude is infectious, and the way his heart is in the right place was really touching. He's like a motivational speaker, bring him back every week lol 😅
The question is.. What is a profit % from that amount. Sure 5 mil sounds nice, but if its only 20k profit per year 🤷♂️. It’s nice to know it’s possible, would be also nice to know average profit margin.
Good content however, the video was very choppy. Just a suggestion to get your guests stay indoors during the interview to avoid noise background (ie car horns). Thanks for featuring other peoples' success. Very inspiring
The content seems so resourceful, however, the audio in my opinion was a little disrrupted, don't know if anyone could agree, it would be great to have it all captioned... I'd really like to benefit from the information being shared though...
I'm curious to know how does winning a government contract lead to income for yourself. I understand you are awarded a contract for your company for a period of time. Do you set an amount to pay yourself from your company after expenses?
When I do the math even though it sounds amazing. $5.5mil ÷4yrs, ÷150 people,÷365 days = $25.11 per person per day. How did he pull that off? I will keep watching. Hopefully I hear an answer. I am very interested in this😊
Tip: government has its own scamms. They bid $20,000,000 on a contract and 😅pay off someone ( kick back money) then give the bid to the lowest bidder. $5.5 million.😅
All of these videos on homerun hitters are great but the average person that is securing contracts are significantly less than the multi-million deals that are featured.
I have a niece and she works in a area department that actually proofs and prepare the contract for flawless submission for free the Government pays for that through a College that has that contract
This was such a helpful video! Thank you so much Brandon your positivity and willingness to share this information. And thank you Kizzy for providing such a open and supportive platform.
I may have missed, what is his profit on this contract? I think I heard it’s a 5 year contract but want to know what he is taking home after he does this great service to our vets

Just a comment to help people who think its always about the lowest price. The interviewee said he won without being the lowest priced. In Federal Government contracting, they may choose to look for trade-offs. There is a scale for what is known as the "best value continuum". At one end of the scale is lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA), to the other end is full trade-off. LPTA is exactly what it sounds like, who can do the work and is it priced the lowest. Trade-off means that they will look at other factors other than price that are "in the best interest of the Government". This is disclosed in the solicitation how the Government intends to evaluate proposals.
I really enjoyed listening to this young man and the care and concern he has for the veterans it warms my heart to see people in contracting actually care about the people they are serving. 💜💜💜💙💜
Is he only feeding the people or is he actually buying the food, preparing it, and serving it? Also, how many people is he feeding each day? Is it 365 days a year? Breakfast lunch and dinner? I did the math for 365 days a year and 150 a day and it didn't come out to much so I'm just trying to learn how to do it too.
This was a great video! I am super inspired to stay focused and consistent with bidding. Thank Brandon for sharing and Thank you Dr. Parks for your platform to help us all.
So a little confused I’m seeing some videos saying when winning contracts you should have a line of credit etc. to fund the contract . With this contract did he have to fund these ways to feed the homeless ? What responsibility came with the contract besides feeding the vets

Dr. Parks,
Thank you for time and knowledge you share!
WRONG… net profits are why companies exist. Finance 101.
These are good business questions. The social impact is a great plus.
You sir are very wrong
How much generational wealth is he creating. Business is not a charity and that is why the government rewards you for job creation. Black people need to wake up and stop being entitled to other people creating opportunities for them. This man is helping himself and people want to know how much all this can make you. If your trying to change YOUR situation knowing the profit amount helps 😉
Damn getting staff, salaries, you just created a whole successful business. Love to see it
Yes!!!
I'm a Veteran and my heart goes out for the homeless vets here I really want to do this. I set up my Sam's and Tungsten
Brandon's enthusiasm is infectious.
It sure is.
This guy has such a beautiful spirit! Way to go man!
He sure does!
This INTERVIEW WAS EVERYTHING

Perfect
Congratulations Brandon!!! It is exciting to hear about this opportunity... 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Thank you for your dedication to the Veterans 🤗
NET PROFIT. if someone is NOT talking about NET PROFITS the contract amount is irrelevant.
Not when you are trying to get your foot in the door. It's tough enough to win a contract. His net may not be large but I'm sure it's a great start.
Do other private firms discuss their net profits?
@@KizzyParksI guess he means title it “high six figure” or low “low six figure” net government contractor but it’s your vid you title it how you want
@@Whoareyou45782 cause he doesn’t make 5.5 he made the company 5.5 he just made a percentage of it, if you listen to her videos made you’d know this
Normally 15% ~20%
The wealth of knowledge in this one video has blown my mind! Hats off to you Brandon & Dr. Kizzy
Yes
Great information. When listening his voice sounded muffled. I thought it was my iPhone so I switched to the computer and the same low-quality sound was there, I wish it wasn't breaking up. Kizzy's sound was clear but Brandon was breaking up, you have to almost make his words out.

Shoot him an email. I believe he provided his contact info at the end.
That's not true. 5 mil in revenue unlocks a lot as far as lending goes.
You'd be a damn fool to negotiate a 5 million dollar contract and profit 20k a year 😂. I'm sure he's making much more than he would at his 9-5

How many people did you need to hire to fulfill the work? Did you partner with a restaurant? Catering service?
I hired 0 employees. I partnered with 5 local licensed caterers.
How did you fund the contract or did you inform all 5 caterers they will be on like a net30? Did you have to pay upfront?
Extremely motivational!
Thank you
Congratulations!
Thank you momma you have helped me shift with this unlimited area of opportunities than being bound in a small area of opportunity chances

Some people chose to take a salary in there business especially if they are operating in it.
Some make money on the profit
Some do and some reinvest it in the company. 😎
Congratulations 🎉

Something I’ve learned is you can be a subcontractor. Search and find who won the bid, and call them directly and offer your services.
