Man I remember playing sonic generations all night during Christmas, Basically up till morning. And when I got to do this mission, it felt like time passed in game and it was morning in planet wisp. Truly a great experience for me.

I FUCKING LOVE THAT MISSION!!! It's unironically my favorite stage in the game! Played the game for the first time in a long time last year, got to that mission, loved it, then proceeded to play it for like 2 hours getting better and better times while vibing with friends. Ended up finding out a way to abuse a -10second clock and checkpoint to get less than 20seconds, but my real time without exploits is 43.75 seconds :DD
Yeah Generations have a really good gameplay and is really peak level design for the boost formula, and for 3D Sonic games in general, even in the side missions
@@kugalinku I think both have their hard levels to complete, especially Unleashed (if we're mainly talking about Eggmanland). But yeah, I agree Gens pretty much improved Unleashed's gameplay in certain aspects.

People used to talk about the Planet Wisp scenario back in the day, it's actually my favourite scenario in Sonic Generations and I'm so looking forward to playing it again in Sonic X Shadow Generations
This level is always on my mind. Planet Wisp at night is one of my favorite Sonic levels and it get some the thinking, what would levels like Sweet Mountain be like at night?

On my most recent playthrough of Generations I ended up doing and S ranking every mission in the game. Some aren’t very good but there’s a lot that are cool and acts as remixed variants of the actual stages.
Frankly the most Annoying side mission is the one with Vector where you have to play tennis with a musical note (which is located right next to the one you did lol)

that one's actually fucking braindead lmao, at the end of the swing you wanna go as high as possible, release, use the hook after you start falling for a bit and that's how it's supposed to work. Too bad the game dont tell you this though
Sonic Generations is really well designed and fun, this mission in particular, I love not only for the level design but for the aesthetics Sonic Colors is already one of my favorite Sonic games in terms of art direction, alongside Sonic Heroes, and I love the original Planet Wisp on the Wii, and Generations made me love this level's aesthetic even more with how they revamped it with the 2 main acts of Planet Wisp (especially Act 2), so when I got to this mission and saw how beautiful sunrise Planet Wisp was, I was stunned, I loved it the moment I've seen it
Man, some Generations missions and ALL Unleashed second day acts were insane. thankfully (if you still got time remaining) there are a gazillion checkpoins in the Generations ones.

vector is CBT for first time players but i got you
