    Honestly, I'd pay for someone to lap this thing with me as a passenger, from a standstill. What a fairground ride!!!!

    Fantastic video. I must ask, did you add your voiceover in post or are you simply THAT calm while driving?

    I love all Porsches ! I think it’s great too that as long as it’s under the Porsche badge I think Porsche people love all Porsches no matter what year or what model .

    Great review - in regards to the Sport PASM suspension - while probably good for the track - what are your thoughts as a daily driver as far as comfort and compliance on public roads - is it also comfortable there?

    One of the very few cars that can show its taillights to most Teslas. What a car this Turbo S!

      That you have to qualify it by saying "most" is hilarious. Family sedans can beat this thing.

      @@hellcat1988 um, right. I would love to see your list of family sedans that can "beat" this car. Go ahead, I'm waiting.....waiting.....
      Oh wait, you're trolling! Ha, yeah you got me there. Thought you were serious! Haha.
      But your username is funny to me. If you do actually own a Hellcat, it must REALLY be embarrassing to get beat off the line my most "family sedans."
      Anyway, I'll sit here patiently and wait for your list of family sedans that can beat a Turbo S. Or you'll just continue to troll and insult me. (Yawn)

    Comparing music piped in and exhaust piped in? Not the same thing. Music is supposed to be played through speakers. Exhaust through pipes.

    • @housepianist

      Sorry you missed the subtlety of that comment.

    • @hellcat1988
      @hellcat1988 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If people are going to have piped in exhaust, why not just get a faster electric car and play the sound in that?

    • @housepianist
      @housepianist 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hellcat1988 Take up the issue of piped-in exhaust sounds with the manufacturers. Apparently, they think it helps "enhance" the driving experience. I don't agree with their reasoning but it is what it is.
      On your second point, piping-in ICE exhaust noise on an electric car is completely pointless. An electric car is a totally different animal. In fact, I think e-cars should sound more like whooshing or whurring rather than, say, a V8 or a turbo-4. The VW ID.4, for example, sounds like a spaceship when you accelerate, which I think is cool considering what it is.
      The point of my comment is that the reviewer is saying it shouldn't be a big deal if the exhaust sound is piped into the car. It's the overall experience of driving a beast like the Turbo S. I don't particularly like piped-in sound but that means nothing considering what this car can do.
      So yes, I agree with your general premise but take the "piped-in exhaust" commentary into consideration when looking at the whole package.

    • @hellcat1988
      @hellcat1988 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@housepianist You missed my point entirely. I was making the comment because one of the more retarded arguments against buying an electric car is that it doesn't "sound right" or "sound cool" to the people who are whining about it not having an engine. It's like those people who say they need Harley motorcycles because they like the throb between their legs. I like to remind them that they can just get a vibrating butt plug and save a lot of money.

      Why would you want to do that when it has twin turbos? Upgrade your turbos instead. A supercharger would not work well with this car

    150 pounds at 125 miles an hour? You are kidding yourself if you think you can notice that below 100mph. About what I expect from a reviewer.

    • @housepianist
      @housepianist 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hm, that's doesn't make any sense. If you are traveling below 100mph, the amount of downforce needed would be less than 150 pounds. And depending on how much slower you're traveling, the amount of downforce needed might be negligible. So to sit here and say that you can't notice "150 pounds of downforce at 125mph" when traveling "below 100mph" makes zero sense.
      The reviewer was implying that if you are a race car driver, you can most likely feel more stability in the straights and corners at that speed, as compared to maybe previous models of the Turbo S because of the increased downforce.
      It might be fair to say that his downforce comment was not directed at you. 🙄

    • @kevinbarry71
      @kevinbarry71 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@housepianist you have no idea what you're talking about, the slower you go the less down force is generated, going below 100 miles an hour in this car would give you virtually no noticeable down Force
