Haha....yeah, found the matching jacket and helmet a year or so ago at a yard sale, and green is my favorite color. After filming this vid I got an HJC RPHA 70 helmet, and a plain black mesh jacket from Amazon
Bro My CBR 250r Has A Problem , It Just Doesn't Starts Randomly And Does Starts ... like It Runs Okay but sometimes it just doesn't starts ...it only cranks ... Specially when left overnight ....it has very hard starting problems but once it starts ..it works fine no problems ...thanks and congratulations
Sounds like a battery problem, especially since it's winter. If your multi-meter says your battery is good, but you're still getting erratic electrical behavior, i'd say to pull it out and take it to an automotive shop to have it load tested. Are you using a battery maintainer? If not, probably worth getting one. If your battery is proven to be in perfectly good health, other areas to check would be the spark plug and the voltage regulator/rectifier. Let me know how it goes!
@@lightningfrog27 i also thought that it is battery problem so i installed a brand new one and the problem didn't occured till this winter ...thanks for the reply bruh .. loved your videos ....lots of love 🤩😍😍😍
I know it looks like one headlight is out, but that's really just 'low beams'. When you turn on high beams, the other headlight turns on. Thanks for watching all the way to the end :)
Haha...yeah, I was really nervous - if something was not assembled correctly I could have caused more damage to the engine. Really glad it worked out 😁
Hello! If I understand correctly, the fuel tank has two vent tubes, one smaller and one bigger. I was wondering where the bigger vent tube connects to? From the fuel tank to where on the bike? Thanks!
Bro Can You Help Me , My Engine Cranks Slowly And Weirdly And Even Knocks But After 10-20 Cranks it starts and while the engine is running or idle ..it doesn't knocks or anything , my mechanic said that the crank seems to me jammed and i need full engine rebuild
Well....i havent personally come across that start-up symptom, but if the engine does (eventually) start and run fine, i would disagree with anyone who says the crank is "jammed". What's the temperature like where you live? It could just be that your battery is getting tired and it's made worse by cold temperatures of the winter? Have you tried starting it while having jumper cables connected? Do you have an aftermarket exhaust? If yes, did you just slap it on there, or did you put a power commander in there too? Maybe you could link me to a video of the thing trying to start up? I guess there's a number of ways i can think of to try to diagnose, but i would need a lot more information....
Hopefully, you can reply to this, but I'm rebuilding a 2016 cbr300r but its mainly just broken fenders and bent rim and a few other things, but I'm almost done with it and I can ride it around, but I'm having a problem where I can get into 2nd gear and can't go any higher like it won't just click up, and when I rock it back and forth in second gear I can then get it into 3rd and do the same for 4th and so on, I've got the oil recently changed, I've heard there may be a bend in something in the engine, I'm not sure, I was just wondering if you would have and idea, there is a recall on the bike for a crankshaft failure, I'm taking it in soon to get that done and thought maybe that could be it.
Hey man - i havent personally had problems with gears getting stuck, but it's likey related to the gear-shift linkage. I have a bit of video showing how that goes together in my engine reassembly video ~ 9 minutes in: th-cam.com/video/BXXXJCCrfVU/w-d-xo.html I can imagine that if one of those parts got tweaked, maybe it wouldnt want to shift? Alternately, if there's some sort of buildup on the gear-selector portion of the transmission, maybe that would make it difficult to change gears? (same video that i linked above, just look at ~4 minutes in). If your bike hasnt yet had the recall, im sure the dealership could easily resolve the gear shift issue. Have you checked for the frame punch mark under the rear seat or done a VIN lookup on the honda powersports website? powersports.honda.com/recalls Thanks for visiting my channel, and good luck with your project!!
@@lightningfrog27 ok thanks, I'll look more into the stuff in the video, and i didn't see the frame mark punch and i did do a vin look up and it was just the recall, im going in later to get set up to get it fixed, thank you
@@KnightT3mplar btw, one other thought that came to mind regarding gear shifting - sometimes letting the clutch out just a little will help it get into gear. When the clutch lever is fully pulled in, the transmission isnt moving at all, so it can be more difficult for the gear teeth to mesh.
I think you can get to it without dropping the whole engine out... probably just need to take off the fairings on the oil pump side, drain the oil, and pull off the crank case side cover. Take that with a grain of salt though...I'm just speculating, haven't actually tried that. Good luck!!
@mrcla55yguy From the factory service manual (16-27): Fork fluid capacity on the CBR300R is 331 +/- 2.5 cc (11.2 +/- .08 US oz) Fork fluid capacity on the CBR300F/FA is 311 +/- 2.5 cc (10.5 +/- .08 US oz) Be sure to slowly pump the fork pipe several times to remove any trapped air from the lower portion of the fork pipe. Compress the fork pipe fully and measure the fluid level from the top of the fork pipe.....level should be 150 mm (or 5.9 inches) down from the top for CBR300R, or 146mm (5.7 inches) for the CBR300F/FA. Sorry it took so long to look that up for you. Hope it helps!
@@lightningfrog27 thanks bro. I found those figures that night and wasn’t sure but winged it. I used a measuring cup followed by a syringe to get right at 331 ml. Glad I measured like that because I forgot to pump the second fork🤦🏻♂️

I think the vents just end in an open tube near the kickstand.
