I wonder if they could make some thing like the M2, with two seperate flood and throw lights, but rather than side by side you have one on each end, as in one usual head and the other one where a tail switch would normally go ?
Would have to be side switch activted obviously.
Just a random thought that come up when you mentioned the ergonomics of the M2.
Interesting idea, I wonder if that would make the light too long. Unless they could shorten the lenses. Manufacturers are always looking for heat dissipation solutions too. Especially when there's different LEDs crammed into a small light.

Agreed and if I could have just one flashlight, the M21B with an XHP70.3 Hi would be it.

Manker Crown is another way to do that aswell... just a shame that it's patented, wish it could be available more broadly / at a lower price
Yes patents unfortunately slow down progress and improvements. I can understand why companies do it though, unique selling proposition $$$

Oh man 😮 completely missed that one. I have it on my desk too. The dual lens setup is a good idea, separation of beams like in the MR90. Smaller size too. But due to the rotating head, the heatsinking is not great. So steps down fast.
The M2 looks so cool, and easy to carry :'(
It's one of my main EDCs which was unexpected
