Fucking hated the parry timing for Rakuyo users...I like the weapon but Jesus Christ that and the Bloodletter l2 made me stop doing invasions.

dark souls weapons are fine but I prefer bloodbornes low amount but fun weapons by far
Core war i like both but I like more in dark souls for the finding more unique weapons for fun, but they need more to be viable to work properly, too many weapons in ds are useless

call me a shitter, but I loved DS2's weapons. loads of really cool unique movesets and specials and let's not forget P-P-POWERSTANCE
DS3 has a few nice specials, but no crazy movesets
magitician well of course since two different teams made ds 1&3 Vs 2, if both teams merged for a new game it'd be the best in the series, story and locations and monsters done by the main team and weapons fighting and multi-player done by 2's team

I'd let a few bosses by DS2 team in though, because they're my some of my favourite bosses from any game I've played.
3 had some cool fights, but 2 just tickles my fancy. Also the inability to respawn bosses in 3 gives me conniptions. Yeah it makes them seem more momentous, but I don't want to play through the entire game to redo one battle.
Other than that, I'd say it'd be amazing

fun fact: in the french version, they actually tranlated bloodletter as the "letter/message of blood" meaning, rather than the "paint-the-walls-crimson-red-wait-how-much-of-it-is-my-own" message. Then again, I suppose the english and japanese versions made the double-meaning intentional.

I use the chikage and that's incredibly relatable. The amount of times I've went afk in the hunters dream and lost my blood echoes is ridiculous.
I absolutely love the Threaded Cane. It's my favorite starting weapon, and one of my favorites overall. Am I alone in thinking so?

I use the threaded cane a lot now but early game it is very hard to do good with it.
I think its the best starting weapon. A little less damage but the move set flows with dodging a lot more. Aka: you take less damage.

Just wrote this as a comment, then I saw this thread about the Threaded Cane, so here goes my 2 cents:
Well I used the Threaded Cane till I got my second Dex scalling weapon, blades of mercy.
Sure, it had the lowest stats, but even with that, hitting enemies from the distance with that whip made you feel like a noble keeping in line thoose filthy plebs in the city. It ended up beeing my second weapon when it comes to pure dmg(blades of mercy are overpowered).
And the pleasure of finishing an enemy while changing back from whip to sword makes me feel satisfied with what i did, that stab just before the enemy falls into the ground feels way better than cutting through enemies.
That ending is so.ething out of this world. needed at least 50 insight to see it.

Aw yeah, the threaded cane! Used that sucker for my entire 1st playthrough. Beat every boss with it (at the expense of my sanity sometimes) then upgraded to Gehrman's giant fuck you sword/scythe combo for new game plus. More people should use the damn thing! It's great!

Raime The Fume Knight in a video he did on why the rifle spear is overpowered, he just spammed the rifle to stun lock people in pvp.
TheScrubSquad Oh I see, I only use it when I'm fighting the merciless watchers since it's very good at stacking damage among more than 1 watcher.
With decent bloodtinge and the right gems you can easily kill people in PvP just by shooting everyone with it in its transformed mode apparently.
It was a glitch with the weapon shot when arcane gems are added. The Arcane damage added damage to EVERY SINGLE PELLET which means it's not just +60% damage added it's +60% x 10 PER SHOT! He had a video showing how OP the glitch was. IT WAS FIXED QUICKLY!

Tony wrecks house... for about 5 seconds.
Tonitrus generally lasts long enough to get you from one lamp to the next, including bosses, so its durability isn't that much of a problem (especially since repairing weapons in Bloodborne is quite cheap). And you can use it to tear apart bagmen as soon as you get it, which is always a plus.
Oddly specific sound to recognise as it’s probably generic, but the church pick when switching modes makes exactly the same sound as the Megacorp chicken bots do when you attack them in Ratchet and Clank 2...

@@d4arken3ds0ul Good players know that paper doesn't really buff your damage in pvp and don't use it at all, haha. The old hunter bone is clearly the correct option but if you are going to use a buff...it makes more sense to use the empty phantasm shell

From Nutshell to Nutshell:
Saw Cleaver - Basic boi, and will serve you well
Hunter's Axe - Respected far and wide, it will be fun chopping foes down
Threaded Cane - Disregarded, but monstrous in it's owner's hands (FYI, it's the weapon I love using the most)
Saw Spear - Discount Basic boi. Not exactly too useful
Kirkhammer - Fun to slam, but risky if used incorrectly (read, at any time in hammer mode)
Ludwig's Holy Blade - Does one disregard purity for power?
Rifle Spear - Don't get too close
Blades of Mercy - Dark Souls 3
Stake Driver - Turning bitches into swish cheese
Tonitrus - Not much thought was put into this
Reiterpallasch - The Rifle Spear, but shorter
Chikage - Only use in risky situations (so that you won't have to deal with that fuckhead)

It can be, but don't expect to land that f*ck off big attack all the time, it take a absolutely forEVER to wind up. However, when you land it, you really do feel like Saitama sometimes. Just practice using it a lot.
I love the threaded cane. The speed of the weapon is its biggest draw, while not being too spammy like the blades of mercy. it makes the game more difficult, but it has style.

.... I've beaten every boss up to.... that thing that is summoned by the blood moon with the threaded cane. people don't realize that things potential especially as a speed damage dealer from mid range.

however I will say that the failed experiments were killed using the evelyn and visceral attacks and that the threaded can was just in my hand to bolster my damage.

I used other dex weapons as well, but I ran against the wall with Loran Darkbeast, the threaded cane was there for me. It has incredible range.

I keep trying to make some of these weapons for my cosplay in ds3, some are easy like the burial blade and moonlight greatsword, andmsome like the pizza cutter, kos parasite and amygdalin arm may not be possible at all any ideas for uncanny weapons like those

Baloney! I used the threaded cane as my main weapon in Bloodborne! I experimented with other weapons, sure, but nothing, NOTHING beat the versatility of the threaded cane.
