This is very in-depth and thought out process of breaking down the weapon tricking and pros and cons but I absolutely agree with the burial blade usage how ever I have the most fun with tricked mode and 1 shot heavys
pretty accurate tier list, although I see cleaver/saif slightly higher than the other A+ weapons because they fit into almost all builds but other than that this tierlist is perfect. Good job scorched
Bloodletter gives me a lot of trouble. I think the main issue is that I can’t tell if I hit my opponent first or I got hit first due to the lag. And yes, bloodletter and the worst lag are generally from Russia.
Well the emulator has come a long ways, game is technically playable on PC right now, tho it needs more work. Still will need a private server, but it’s getting closer to reality.
Are you certain the Repeating Pistol has a longer recovery? I’ve sometimes felt that way, if only marginally, but the wiki claims the frame data is the same between all the pistols.

It says they have the same, same frames as you say... so it may be a minor error/miscule diffrence on my part. Recovery seems slightly longer from experience... even still the double bullet cost is p wasteful... wouldn't change too much.

But I agree with you, from experience it feels like it has a longer recovery...specifically in followup actions. I've always felt like I can't followup as quickly with it compared to the other two. I've always loved the Repeating Pistol, as it gives Van Helsing vibes, but it's definitely the least efficient gun. It's only practical use is high burst damage. For that it pairs well with the Reiterpallasch, since both modes of that weapon are one-handed and so don't remove the Bone Marrow Ash buff, and the Reiterpallasch is good at parrying on its own. In that sense it can be for Skill builds what the Cannon is for Strength builds. But that's about it.

The fact that this OP weapon is put in one of the lowest ranked categories by supposedly “expert” and “experienced” players is hilarious because it shows just how little awareness and knowledge you possess about the game’s PvP and it’s depth potential. Its moveset is probably one of the most versatile out there in the game, with the backstep r1s and backstep R2s in both untricked and tricked form being very difficult to predict or parry. The unzip if anything is the least best thing about kage, because it takes too much time to pull off as well as being very interruptible. The best attack on it is the tricked L2, because of its high speed and stagger potential. When combo’d with the backstep attacks your opponent cannot read anything you do while also getting stuck in a stagger chain. Any PvPer worth their salt would know that weapons that deal as high damage as chikage would clearly have put this weapon in A+ if not S tier. You clearly are just doing this arbitrarily based on your favorite weapons. (Very nice video though, mucho informative)

Interesting to see how the meta is different at a high level. Early on in bloodborne I used the chikage on a pure bloodline build and I remember being able to 2 shot people. Guess at a high level it’s easily dealt with. Interesting!

Outside of like 3 people I have ever fought it’s generally a pretty easy weapon to bully. Can be dangerous in the right hands, but still a lot of weapons can stuff it. Chikage really only has the high damage, a strong side arm, and a potential 2 shot off a parry… it has a bit of a learning curve like a couple other 2 hand weapons.

I used the saw spear for pve but I don’t think I ever tried it in pvp.. I used it when making my rakuyo build but had to get to that point meaning most bosses did fall to the saw spear, cheers for the video man.

Ah, you were at my side all along. My True Mentor. My Guiding Moonlight 🌕. Cool showcase Scorched. I never really did much pvp, I think I legit just did one invasion and did some hosting while playing through. On occasion I did duel in the chalices with some other players I knew. Can't remember if we ever fought. Bloodborne may not have a lot of weapons, but the Trick system gives them essentially a 2 in 1 format, making them very unique amongst the souls games imo. Bloodborne overall is a cool game. Nice video dude.
So you’d think a great sword sword that glows green and has beam attacks would be best on a strength arc build, unfortunately the most optimal HMS is on quality using the one handed form. Str/quality HMS > Str/arc HMS. It’s best to just ignore the beams and go for optimizing the swords damage.

Ludwigs 100% str/quality and hms is much better on str/quality. Only reason to go str/arc is if you want the sword AND beams to do damage. If you only care about the sword damage then just go quality.

Не согласен с постановкой пилы-топора и штыка, пила-топор лучше, так как в пвп вы кружитесь вокруг противника, как правило, слева, чтобы пистолет по вам не попадал, так вот, при прочих равных, пила-топор имеет лучшие хитбоксы при атаке в разложенной форме после переката(у штыка удар часто не достает) а также R2, которая достает на 180 градусов, в отличии от штыка, который просто делает укол с узким углом атаки. Единственное, чем spear лучше, тем что на нем 50 agility, и висцеральная атака ваншотит, однако опытные игроки не подставляются под пули. Также не согласен с топором охотника, он стоит выше лунного меча, лунный меч имеет одну атаку - это тычек с гиперброней, которым можно размениваться в плюс, остальное у него медленное и слабое, требует особого билда. За reiterpallasch респект, многие недооценивают
sorry been away for a while. You could go 50/12/50/38/5/15 cruel fate or 47/9/50/42/7/15 waste of skin. Both are pretty even tbh just slight trade offs. You'll want heavy abyssal gem and two 27% temp gems. If you want maximum damage you could do 47/10/50/50/7/6 military vet, you just won't have Beast Roar.
Untricked, as that is the primary way you use it..Same for cleaver. Most of the tricked moves are p bad, other than the L1 attacks, forward dash r1, and tap r2 (both cleaver and spear)

Maybe i didnt play bb very long time but i fell like after this guide all use this stupid saw spear on nightmare frontier. I remember playing pvp and everyone used different weapon. Now all use this op gun. I can win, i can fight with it, but im so tired of noobs with that weapon and pros with that weapon. When i have 3 different main characters for pvp, most people use stupid saw spear, u r so boring guys! Cool vid anyway
What gun you referring to? Saw Spear is oppressive no denying it (really saw clever should have been the limit), but there are weapons that can combat it fairly well. In a high tier players hands it’s going to be very hard to win with something blow A tier… I will say tho even still it’s not as bad as it is in Ds3 or ER. A low tier weapon in BB is still much more useable than a low tier weapon in those other two games. I’m happy to give advice if you want any, and thank you!

Beast claws are c tier? You're tweaking The beast buff increases the damage if the claws and gives unique pounce/attacks that allow you to punish enemies, and they are fast af

I unironically think Chikage should be higher. Though I think it's probably latency bias since the 2h mode gets incredibly buffed by lat.

Saw Spear is oppressive no denying it (really saw clever should have been the limit), but there are weapons that can combat it fairly well. In a high tier players hands it’s going to be very hard to win with something blow A tier… I will say tho even still it’s not as bad as it is in Ds3 or ER. A low tier weapon in BB is still much more useable than a low tier weapon in those other two games.

But now everyone use saw spear, people with something that is not saw spear are very rare. I think i should learn how to play better but fighting vs saw spear over and over again is boring. The beast buff increases the damage if the claws and gives unique pounce/attacks that allow you to punish enemies, and they are fast af

The unique attacks are slow, and lack tracking, and the damage is quite lacking in comparison to many other weapons.
