I daily drive it, and love it so much, compared to other's driving clone German/bland cars! America actually made a decent car that has decent horsepower, great handling, made with better materials than previous Camaros, and is made properly(although in Canada!).

The only issue I've had with my 2011 2SS is the trans temp guage in the cluster isn't reading, although the needle does the "sweep" when first starting the car. I haven't crawled underneath it yet to see if maybe a mouse has chewed the wiring or maybe a bad sensor.

A sbe LS3 can handle around 700ish hp rather reliably. If you plan on putting a lot of boost on it, and are trying to push more than 750-800hp. Upgrading the internals is recommended, for the engine life. But a sbe ls engine putting down 600-700hp, and being driven daily is not a big deal. As it is pretty common to see nowadays.
Dang, sorry to hear that. I get people say thing they have had zero problems, then I get folks just like you. If you need advice, I’m more than happy to try to offer some
Yeah, that definitely needs to be on this list. My son and I bought a 2014 LT1 auto a few years back and have put 18k miles on it. No problems so far. As far as the blend door goes: I don't use AC, ever (that's what windows are for). Well, actually, when my wife demands that I turn it on, then I put it right at the first blue circle setting (not anywhere near max), but I'm hoping to prolong the life of the blend door by very rarely ever using my AC.
I fixed it on mine, it’s for sure not easy job, but i just cut the side, on mine, and it’s been working perfectly over year or so. No Issues just yet. Better than spending 3k at Chevy. I only spend like $80 including the blend door.
Just bought mine from a dealership with 189k miles for 14,500k and trade in. Feels like I got ripped off. 😪😔feels like I made a bad decision despite researching the car for 6 months. But I hope all will be good and not too many issues

I have not done this yet. I'm about to
Whose rear area is bigger, a 2008 Mustang GT or a 2010 Camar
I would say Camaro
Camaro I have an 11 model an just sold 08 mustang
Wish people would talk about the passenger airbag sensor going bad.
That is the only issue i have had on my 2010 2ss rs. Bought a bypass module and solved light issue.
So Do you guys think it’s a good first car I’m 16 1/2 and in the market for a car
@dodgerdawg13 what car should we buy then that's reliable
Thank u brother..nice vid..pure and simple..
Does anybody know if these cars also suffer from the harmonic balancer issue like the corvettes?
Great content bro
A sbe LS3 can handle around 700ish hp rather reliably. If you plan on putting a lot of boost on it, and are trying to push more than 750-800hp. Upgrading the internals is recommended, for the engine life. But a sbe ls engine putting down 600-700hp, and being driven daily is not a big deal. As it is pretty common to see nowadays.
I can say it has different outcome for me
I have a 2010 1ss with 77k miles, only issue has been the fuel pressure sensor.
How many miles on a 2011 Camaro should I be aware of ?
…. forgot the A/C blend door that will break !
I’m about to buy one really helpful I like to drive fast so that steering wheel issue will have to get dealt with right away
I've owned 3 Camaros 2015-2016 and have had none of these problems.
I got a SS, the only problem is the radio. it turns on and off.
Is $21,500 2011 ss auto with 65k miles a good deal its in decent condition
I have a 2010 camaro and have had nothing but issues this past month
Dang, sorry to hear that. I get people say thing they have had zero problems, then I get folks just like you.
If you need advice, I’m more than happy to try to offer some
@@AutoMotivate Hi, whats the problem of RS LLt engine ???
Sounds like a car you can easily repair
Exactly why I make these videos
The tire check modules go bad too
I have a 2010 2SS and have never had any issues on my car. I dont know anyone that has had these issues, however my Suburban has. Maybe I got lucky
I can’t complain about my 20112 SS. It’s is 👌🏽😎
Biggest has been the AC/Heather HVAC blend door, 98% your going to run in to this problem. Have fun.
You right on that.
Yes, I had to recently replace the blender door but, there are a couple of videos that show you can go under the dash and fix it. Like i did.
No
Issues just yet. Better than spending 3k at Chevy. I only spend like $80 including the blend door.
@@jorgemeza4974 How often did you run your AC prior to the repair (and at what temp level)?
Just bought mine from a dealership with 189k miles for 14,500k and trade in. Feels like I got ripped off. 😪😔feels like I made a bad decision despite researching the car for 6 months. But I hope all will be good and not too many issues
That is a bit of money, however, these LS engines are known to outlast the car. Hopefully it has been beaten its entire life.
@@AutoMotivate it has a huge dent on the side of the car so I know the car was beat up. Thinking of getting a lawyer and using the lemon law if I found major issues they didn't disclose. They told me the car was in should condition. I bought it from a dealership that sells chevy in troy alabama
Bro I can certainly say you did get ripped off I bought mine for 15k with 75k miles and I wouldn’t trade it for the world only problem I’ve had is the brake light
What other issues does it have?
I bought mine for 14,000 with 35k miles. Sorry to hear that.
I have a 2012 Camaro, #3 happened to me just last week.
I have had my 2015 ss for 3 years and haven’t had a single issue. *knocking on wood*
154k miles on my SS, and other than tiny tiny paint chips, I've had none of these issues
130,000 miles on 2010 ss and getting ready to replace everything between the rear wheels
Like what specifically interested cause I’m getting around that mile mark myself
Great vid, would love one of these one BRZ/GT86/FRS
May be one coming soon 🙏
I’m planning on doing some sort of overview on the Toyota 86 in the upcoming weeks, similar to the Xterra video I just posted.
@@AutoMotivate awesome! Excited to see it
Try the 2014 and up. The early models have the infamous valve recall.
Geroge Costanza look into the Golf mk7 they can be really impressive and compete really easy against the Camaro.
Any of this apply to a 2015 LS Camaro?
Can we get a 4th gen Acura TL one?
Ill put that on the list! Ive really been enjoying making these videos. Hope you are doing well!
I love my tl
50 k miles and the rocker arm give up on me needed a whole rebuild
Had my 20102ss for a year now no problems
voice audio is trash, its muffled. couldnt understand a thing
2012 2SS L99. Zero issues. 70K miles
Thanks man, I appreciate it. I buy you launch
I just hit 20,000 miles original owner I love it .
So what im hearing is "Hey Guys, Chrisfix here!"
Was actually watching this video until you got to the part where you said the legendary LS cant handle more power. What a joke go look up the videos where tons of people go to the junkyard and get a LS and boost it through the roof on stock internals making 900 plus hp. Cant trust this video now.
Reliable long term power is different from boosting a ls for a few drag runs. Huge difference.
Yes, you can turbo a 4.3l v6 to handle 700hp, but for how long?
Yeah you better do a lot more research yourself. Very reliable in the 650-725 hp range. Don't lie to people tell them the truth.
