Combining three different Stats for maximum adaptation, this build is a perfect storm of experimentation. Capable of using more than 200 different weapons, you can make this build into whatever you want it to be. The result is simple: Fun, dynamic and perfect to counter-pick each and every enemy weakness. On top of it all, we also get fantastic Status Effect application and this gives us certified control over our enemies and the battlefield. Having options is never a bad thing.

I watched all your builds last night as I start a character for shadow of the erdtree. This build right here is what I’m going with. Holy crap at the versatility!
This is a good choice for a first run of the DLC. The stat spread will allow you to use many of the new weapons in Shadow of the Erdtree. Thank you for your comment.

I think since you don’t need int/faith, Hero would be better starting class for this build 🤗

Every time I think I figured out builds, you and a small handful of youtubers pop a vid and surprise me. Jack of all trades, perhaps, but being able to take advantage of bleed and quality occult weapons is a nice compensation.
Also, coincidence that my first character right now happens to be a quality arcane enthusiast with gray skin. He's got baby smooth skin, though. He waxed.

I'm currently working on a bleed based build, and my main goal and struggle has been to create one with versatility and lots of options but not based on dual wielding curved swords....Thanks FG - much appreciations.

Not sure if this has been suggested before but it might be a worthwhile pursuit to make builds that are modeled after other Fromsoft games. The look of this one reminded me of the hunter from Bloodborne (beasts embrace) and it would be really cool to see how creative someone who’s good at builds could be with Sekiro or something. Regardless, you continue to impress with how creative you are! Thanks for the build.

So I was about a quarter way through a dex build which I started on a warrior class and saw the quality arcane video. I shifted my stats over, picked up a brick hammer with stormcaller, and my. oh. my. was it the most pleasant playthough I’ve had in months. It really is such comfortable, strong, and rewarding build style. And best of all I felt that my level of power perfectly coincided with the story of the game as well as the levels gained per late game boss. Once I got to the snowfield I picked up the rotted hammer as well and put it in my off hand with wild strikes. Not to mention an average fireball or lightning spear still wrecks of course. My lvl 137 strength/arcane build is now tied with my lvl 250 int/faith hybrid catalyst build for favorite.

I really like what you've done here with this including the alternate versions. The horn hammer. I really like this build. You didn't mention what cracked tears you'd recommend unless I missed it though ?
I am happy that you liked the build. It is one of my favorite ones. To answer your question, I did not go into detail about the Physicks Flask because it is not really important. This means that you can use whatever you prefer. I do not have any specific Physicks strategies with this build. Thank you for your comment.
@@FrownyGaming Alright just making sure :) Thanks for the reply. This is def a favorite build ive been doing "meta" builds for weeks trying to find something I feel powerful with yet based around the sword play. The stun / bleed with the horn hammer jsut works.

Love your videos! Variety is king when it comes to builds imo. Who wants to do a jump attack or something for 80% of an open world game . . . ?

Hero start. Opaline hardtear and Cerulean hidden tear in the flask.
Opaline offsets the negation loss and cerulean lets you get off some buffs.
If you don't mind being a bit less tanky, dragoncrest greatshield talisman can be swapped out for radagon icon to bring you to the 70 dex casting speed cap.
It always terrifies me when I see a Soreseal on an end-game build. What's your physical absorption on this build? Have you been one-shotted? Other than that, this is a pretty spread out build, you can even get some pretty good Dragon Communion damage. Thank you for your comment.
@@FrownyGaming basically the same as without it. Opaline hardtear gives you back the negation you lose by having the soreseal equipped.
Another fun combo is Opaline tear and crimsonburst tear.
7hp/sec for three minutes paired with opaline defense buff is basically easy mode.
This build might actually be worth trying the game again with.

I only changed halg the strength to endurance since I want to dual wield scimitars as a warrior up until I get the Bloody Helice and/or the Antspur Rapier before acquiring RoB, very versatile build indeed

How much poise does your armour have? Last I heard, anything less than 51 has no effect in PVE
If I recall, it’s 43 Poise. But I mention the exact amount in the “Armor” section of the video. And you are correct. For PvE, 51 Poise is what you are looking for. Having less doesn’t really do much. Thank you for your comment.
Maybe you did this already, but did you do a int/faith arcane build? I like to make two characters using the red and blue hoods, one solely for melee and the other being a mage.
There is an INT/FTH build, an INT/ARC build, and a FTH/ARC build, all in the channel. Do not hesitate to check them out.
That said, I have not made INT/FTH/ARC build. At least not yet. It sounds like it would be spread too thin, but I feel like its worth doing some theory about it. Thank you for your comment.

I am certainly going to make builds based on them, though will 'change' some elements, like the Occult/Strength becoming a Roar build would be fun.
But yeah, the INT/FTH/ARC build is solely a PVE build, because it would need investments in four different stats to be effective.
Its worth a shot. Though how long do you need to reach level 150 for your stats?
So bloodhound’s fang is wasted with this build since the bleed it has doesn’t scale with arcane right? Unless maybe you dual wield with an infused arcane scaled weapon and grease the fang?
Unfortunately, Bloodhound's Fang is not optimal for this build. I am not saying that it is not good, but it would be better in a build with 55 STR / 55 DEX and using Bloodflame Blade on it. This build is definitely geared towards Blood infused weapons in order to take advantage of the Arcane scaling. Thank you for your comment.

Could you please do a lightning Faith Dex build? If not it’s cool, but I’d really love your take on it.
I can put this on a list of pending builds that I have. See what I can do. That said, there is already a FTH/DEX build in the channel. "Taker's Noble", where I focus on the Blasphemous Blade. Best class for this build is Hero, not Vagabond. Whole 4 levels saved.
You are correct. There was another viewer who also pointed this out. Unfortunately, this is me getting tunnel vision sometimes because Vagabond comes out of the gate with 13 DEX, for the Claymore, which I run on almost every build I make.
