Swap the faith tear for a poise boost and full bull goat, swap your great rune into Malenia's for Bloodborne heal or Morgott's for tank health, and become the immovable object.

@@Mahoraga009 far as I know that's the only poise tear out there, although if you really need more you could go for the Iron jar Aromatic, it's a craftable you can get that basically makes you infinite poise but slow.
or try swapping it for the charged cracked tear for more damage pairing it with the godfrey icon

What i like to do is is use mask of vare,nagakiba and mohg talisman. That extra bleed damage buff can be helpful and the nagakiba is just good for some quick swings
After 900 hours I finally started using this weapon. It’s so fun hah. Clean set up. I think the Briar armor has the best looking cape in the game.
You need to check out Bernal’s armor’s cape. You need to alter it to get the cape.

After 900 I also have just started a biuld using this weapon my first hybrid arcane biuld never want to do Arcane because there's only a few good weapons and they're all endgame it seems like but after doing everything else I wanted to try something new I'm not big into using the special attacks I just like a good weapon so I'm hoping this pans out for the light and heavy attacks but I also do really like the weapon art so I might want to use it here and there but I can't stand only using weapon Arts to get through the game it seems like it takes the fun out of the game so I really hope the regular damage is good with this too
Personally, I play with Occult Uchigatana seppuku in the left hand, while in the right hand Marais Executioner's Sword, Talismans: Shard of Alexander, Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Millicent's Prosthesis and Lord of Blood's Exultation, for armor White Mask. The plan is simple, Golden Vow, Flame Grant me Strength, I use seppuku, then use Executioner Weapon Skill. If the boss is immune to bleed then after using seppuku I change katana to Dragon Communion Seal and use Incantations: Pest Threads, Dragonclaw, Dragonmaw, Greyoll's Roar, Scarlet Aeonia. I call this build - The Leper Dragon Hunter
The real catch is being able to play up until you get these weapons etc. That's the hard part. I'd like to see a play through where you do this to build this out.
You can use regalia of eochaid you can get it immediately after the first grace outside also by the time you get to marais executioner sword you're already familiar with the skill at that point
POG: Complete the Varre questline asap to arrive at the best rune farm in the game. All you need is a long bow to shoot the bird from the ledge and you will level up in no time.
Another great build dude, i was using the marais alot and also the blasphemous blade currently just hit level 400 and wondering should i go back to the marais or scavengers as i do love bleed build, keep up the builds mate and enjoy watching your streams on youtube 🖤

@samuelbrown2958 cost 1.8mil or so, bro, wanted to reach 400 as for Strength, Dex, Faith and Arcane to reach last soft cap at 80, keep grinding man playtime on my character is 285hrs, killing greyoll in Fort faroth did well up until level 250 then rest was mohgwyn palace.

Also I would suggest having Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear as a side weapon. This build is good but it lacks the aoe(dragon incantation cost too much mp) so just standing there going NIHIL on the surrounding enemies is a great way to handle the mobs. Plus it's stats requirements is pretty much the same so the damage will go along with you till the end
True strength connoisseurs smack the shit of of each and every enemy one at a time. Otherwise what's the point? AOE is for POS.

No he’s not. Not even close. The problem with this guys builds is they’re like 10 months late. There are a bunch of other Elden Ring build creators that had this build out a long time ago. Now those other TH-camrs are doing really creative stuff with their builds. Check out Nizar GG’s last few builds. This build right here has already been done so many times. That’s the problem with this guys builds. Up until recently his builds were far from optimized. But worse, because they’ve already been done so many times, they feel old and ripped off from other youtubers.

This is a great build. I was using the greatsword with the lion claw skill through the game. I switched to this and it really does melt bosses. The problem is making contact, with the greatsword I wouldn’t get staggered at all when using the skill. With this build all enemies stagger me so you have to really look for a good opening
remember the standard poise breaking point is 51 so if you have atleast 51 poise you can tank most enemy attacks without staggering. i suggest using the gloves or leggings from bullgoat set

I just found out recently that the briar armour does poise damage, i was fighting melenia and rolling past her made her stance break
instead of using the mask of confidence to get the +3 arcane you can get the silver tear mask which gives you +8 arcane instead

You should try my ng+ build. Its a cold beastmans curved sword with an occult scavengers curved sword. Only incant needed is the one that sets you on fire. Use millicents prosthesis and rotten winged sword insignia for two talismans

Why 24 in intelligence? It opens up briar sorceries with the albinauric staff as an option against bosses that can bleed since you're already using arcane. Sure, it could have specialized a bit more into the core damage stats, but versatility is more fun imho.

Great guide! one thing you can do if you dont want to go into NG+ for both Milicents prosteses and the rotten winged insingnia, you can get the Normal Winged insignia in the Stillwater Cave. Its not as strong as the rotten one but still pretty good for a starter run

I'm not using dragon spells, so Irusing the magic shrouding tear, as the briar's sword does magic damage.
yea its a good build and can be enhanced as much as you want, can use the final chain boost damage talisman and magic is really good cos the sword deals magic damage, i didnt like that build cos its not that good in pvp but in pve wow its one of the best or if not the best build out there
I’ve played this build in pvp and it actually does really well, just gotta use the L2 sparingly and never charge it u less u KNOW u can land the charged hit.
After thd gs buff in 1.09 it is lethal. Just got to setup your l2 instead of using it mindlessly. With just rotten wing and alexander shard I've punished a single whiff for 2/3 of their health bar by tapping it.

Just letting you know, I took this build into the DLC, NG+ or NG++ and even while being 2 whole new games behind in the DLC, it still slaps!

Does this build only work on NG+? My damage was not even close to the ones on the video I lack the Shard of Alaxander and the Millicent Prostesis talismans.

Quick question - do you start working towards this build from the outset of the game? Or do you use an OP early/mid game build and then respec to this right towards the end when the weapon becomes available?
Tbh ur safest bet is to run bloodhounds fang until u feel like respecing into other weapons, the bloodhounds fang isnt overly reliant on its ash of war so it allows newer players to get used to attack patterns and timing with dodges plus its a beast of a weapon, u will have tons of larval tears to respec later on trust me
i am way to late but you should would get more damage by using the magic bubble tear and getting golden vow on a dagger.

probably still decent damage output but the successive attack power won’t be so much without the talismans and i believe that is actually what makes the build so melting
a question please, dear content maker. i erased elden ring before 1 year. but, i wish to come back. i think my level was around 370 -/+. my problem was: what build can i use?! blood, strenght? the most of the time i was using this special unbeatable stone shield and a naginata spear. together with this goat armor and all the best talismans i beat the game. but always it was a hard game. sometimes i have luck, sometimes not. i remember maliketh....this creature brokes all my love to this game. or malenia. yes i won against them, but after many try and error runs. i want restart the game. i want good health, good stamina, good magic for using my weapon talents. shield, sword, a shiny armor....a classical knight. bleed effects. only pve. what is the best way to play this? gimme some stats. thx

You don't need all the points in vigor, you can put it in faith and the build with still be the same, you just won't be able to take as much damage

I may or may not have screwed up the millicent quest line by giving her the wrong needle in the beginning and having her die immediately can anybody suggest replacements for the first 2 talismans😂

Yes you have to complete Millicient's quest line to get the rotten winged sword insignia and then i killed her in new game plus after the final dilogue at Altus Platou to get Millicents prosthesis

Nah his armour is just in the shop there’s no bell bearing all you have to do is kill him go to the shop and it’s the there

There’s no bell bearing for Elemer, just gotta visit Enia at Roundtable and purchase his armor

The prob with the build is you can use only one weapon for max damage. The mohgwyn greatspear scales much better with 80 arc and all strength weapons scales better with 80 strength even while putting bleed affinity

The seal is just for the incantations, if you level it they get better or something idrk, if you don't use the incantations it's useless and not needed, if you do, would be a good idea to level it up just in case
anyone else struggling to get the damage he gets i am level 195 and have same or higher stats and only missing rotten sword insig but i only get 2.5k-3.5k per attack anyone got advice?

You have to do her full quest if u killed her u got too do her quest in ng+
You can only get one of them during a single playthrough. Since one you get from her death and the other from helping her in her questline. Since you can't do her quest if you kill her then you cannot get both. Use Winged Sword Insignia instead.

Well this build is insane because for me iam high level my level is 330 so i max out strength and arcane and put 60 into hp and 40 into fp and 45 in endurance and finally 40 into faith so i use some incantations and i put on the commander nile armor gives me 80 poise and really high defence omg man its gonna be insane
I`d say Regalia of Eochaid is better than Marais Executioner! It has better moveset, half the weight, can be obtained earlier and easier. Marais`s skill does more damage, but Regalia`s also does a LOT of damage and IMO misses less and comes out faster. For NG and NG+ (and even NG+7!) Regalia of Eochaid is better.
