I LOVE that they included the spanish version of this song sang by Lisette Alvares. A version that back then didn't get much recognition, only in the central American areas mostly but still a beautiful rendition to the original by Bonnie 🙌🔥✨️

It’s …like. Cesar- you just get used to his angelic tone snd then you get a reminder of how versatile he is! Ashley is just excellent. I imagine her hiccups sound excellent probably can read the phone book and make that sound excellent too. It’s really a genius chemistry they have together and it’s smart to feature them.
Of course, the three in support on this one are excellent too. It’s a terrific arrangement of your gifts- and Eli, really nice work here!!

I remember singing this song across Kansas in 1983 when I moved to Colorado. It brings back the excitement and hope I felt then, seasoned with the bittersweet of things lost, which is the human experience. Lovely rendition, VoicePlay
Having recently driven from MO to CO (and then back again!), with modern speed limits (which I _still_ flagrantly broke), I can't imagine how interminable it must have felt in '83. Kudos to you for maintaining your sanity through the process!

The first time Ashley disappears, my heart dropped and my eyes filled with tears. What an amazing video. Of course, the music is fabulous as well, but the video concept of this one really hit me. Could be a romantic couple, could be a platonic friend couple...works on many levels.

It reminds me of the time when I was getting groceries and this song came on over the radio. I looked around, and - can you believe it - I was the only one singing! We were in a supermarket for heaven’s sake. There would have been enough hairbrushes for everyone to have a microphone!

I liked the 80's references- hair, clothing, arcade, etc. If I remember correctly, this song was originally about a human and a vampire in love- written the night he turns her- 30 years before Twilight! You've done Bel proud, and yes, there is a double entendre on "Bel."

Genius. Just a few seconds in, I thought "Oh, this is ABSOLUTELY going in my Top Ten." This is _ELECTRIC_, guys! (Heh.) Such a wonderful video, so warming and comforting, and the friendship is so evident, not just because of you showing Cesar and Ashley's friendship, but that of the whole group! Wow. Just WOW!!! Sometimes it takes me more than one hearing to really "tune in" and fully appreciate how VoicePlay turns songs on their head. This one just smacked me in the face the very first time out. They took an original that was so-so (my opinion) and turned it into a thing of beauty. LOVE Ashley... glad to see her again. LOVED her in Rich Man/Girl and Bruno (as examples). Her voice works so well with these guys! LOVE this piece. Ashley and Cesar were PERFECT in this! Adorable! As I said at first... WOW!!!

When the Spanish began, I gasped in excitement. I was too young to truly remember the 80s, but this song was still one of my favorites, playing my older sister's mixed tape over and over until the tape broke. If this had been available on tape, I surely would do the same, wearing it out in no time. Such a powerful arrangement, and the video concept was heartbreaking. I know what's going to the top of my Spotify list.

I feel like each piece Voiceplay has done lately as totally eclipsed one another. I'm sure they know the way they make you feel, as they are masters of their craft. Speaking plainly, Voiceplay always has versatility in their musical creations, but I think this is the strongest I've ever felt their love for music. It felt as though I reconnected heart to heart with a soul-sister who recently passed (trying not to cry as I write this). In watching this piece I felt raw and seen all at once. I hope you all enjoy this masterpiece, because I sure did.
