I just showed this to my six year old sister, who thought it was super funny. - She was surprised to realize this was before "the black guy" joined them, though she didn't seem to catch on until later - She wasn't sure who Geoff was at first, and thought he was the first guy who left (imagine her shock when I told her who it actually was) - I pointed Tony out to her as the guy from Phantom of the Opera. After about a minute of watching, she said she liked him, because "I like his eyes. I think he has nice eyes." (And I mean, who am I to disagree?) - She liked the music Eli played better, though, and actually started jamming to some of it - She had me replay Layne's part at least three times
I got to see them do this live years ago. These guys are a completely different experience in person. Same with home free. Those bassists can vibrate a padded seat
This act is one of the many reasons I love you guys so much. Y’all are insanely talented and disciplined but you still somehow don’t take yourselves too seriously.
Not only are you amazing musicians, you are also hilariously funny. This is, though old, but so so so good. I've watched it at least a few dozen times since finding it and it never gets boring.
That was freaking epic being a (non professional) scene/stage actor myself I'd say that was some of the best spacial awareness and physical strain I've seen in my short time practicing
I love both Home Free and Pentatonix and think Voiceplay is the best. :) Home Free would be a close second for me and Pentatonix a...closeish third. They're all terrific though. :)
