so true, i leave for work at 6.30 am.but arun's voice and his yoga sessions are a big inspiration for me to do 30 min workout every single day before leave for work.
I loved it! ❤😊🎉 I felt so much Prana from my belly and my heart confluate in my sternum bone and heat it up like never before, specially in Bow Pose! I did it at 5.25 a.m here in Helsinki, Finland, where I am staying with my son who is 2 years and 9 months old. ❤🎉 I am determinate to lose all the weight that came after the pregnancy, with the breastfeeding, and also some of it came with the pregnancy. ❤ Finally I am able to let go ❤🎉 Your yoga is so healthy I feel I can do it every other day ❤😊🎉 Which will be of wonderful support for my spirituality as well as my mental health, and not only my weight loss journey. Your video is the only one focusing on the abdominal area that does not leave you wounded or sore, just toned, so in fact it is frequently repeatable, so you become more strong ! I just did this for the very first time and breathing in and out slowly and intentionally really felt very different in my body and in my back. Thank you. I will come back to this over and over again.
I did the practice during a mild panick attack or panic mood and mode. Indeed, yesterday I spent 6 hours at the police answering their qyestions to denounce a crime made to me. I am in this stressed and afraid mode bc that was a lot for my nervous system, both to be in the police, and to revive the crime in my own mind, and yet I stuck to the practice today. Without pausing it, I did the whole.
Wow.. The class and the teacher indeed very very good. The flow of approach and the time given is perfect and not in hurry... Many more expecting and once again my best respect to the teacher. The demonstrator did fantastic job....

I don't even have to watch the demonstrator as your instructions are always very clear & precise. One thing I would like to ask today, is that the sequence is very different to the usual Sivananda format (I teach this style too, but have not certified with yourselves), But you practiced pranayama at the end & I was wondering why? Is it ok to teach it at the end? I usually teach it at the beginning. Thank you & I hope you do not mind me asking the question. Ani Vadgama
Thank you for practicing with us. In the Sivananda standard class, we always teach Pranayama at the beginning, as you will find in all other videos on our channel. In this class, particular to weight loss, it is a practice which has been designed with additions from different systems, for example, LSP also is not a Sivananda practice, but comes from the Bihar tradition. So this class is not to be mixed with the basic Sivananda programme. The leg raises done in this class, are not the typical Sivananda variations as taught during the TTC, but are focussed more on toning the abdominal area, thighs, hips etc. The work in this class is more on physical practices, and hence this structure is followed. Traditionally of course, pranayama comes after asana, according to the 8 limbs of yoga. However, in the Sivananda system, it is placed before, as per the reasons explained by the teachers during the TTC. Hope this is helpful for you. Om Shanti
Order of pranayama can be in si Amanda classes either at the beginning of the class for centering on oneself before the practice, or at the end, for meditative purposes. As there are a lot of exercises, I guess it was better to have it the end. As it is also not a traditional class, there is no inversion. Hope it helps
In the Sivananda class we always do it in the beginning. It removes the tamas from the body and mind and also warms up the body in preparation for the asana practice.
