    I've been constipated for several months because of GERD, and i've been meeting my doctor. He said my bowel is moving slow even though I ate fiber, vegetable, and fruit, they didnt work well. My poop routine is always once a week (with medicine) 😢. It bothers me so much.
    After doing this yoga, i feel i can release all gas in my stomach without pain or bad feelings. Thank you Melisa you help a lot. I hope I can do my daily routine like before after consistently practicing your Yoga move ❤️

    I gotta admit didn’t believe it can help once I started because I tried all types of tees, fiber, medicines without success for constipation and wow IT DID HELP! Slowly but helped!!! I’ll repeat it tomorrow thanks

      Thanks so much! I have been suffering from chronic constipation recently and for years. Tried some of your exercises and it has helped with bowel movement. I will incorporate these exercises in the morning to start my day.

      Its usually because this type of exercise can relax and open the pelvic floor, most medicines just change the consistency of stool and don’t do anything to help the muscles work and open

    I just did two of your yoga videos back to back for constipation and it’s only been 25 min and I feel relief already !!! I was in pain for 7 hours at work and even just sitting in the car ride home, thank you thank you !!! You might have just gave me my yoga spark back ❤

    Really great sequence! I would have preferred it a little slower. I personally found it difficult to focus on my breath because of the quick movement. Otherwise, it was great!

      @@DrMelissaOleson I agree! I loved this class...The movements feel so good to gently wake up in my stiff body in the morning. And it did it's job! But I paused this video multiple times to add more reps and holds and really sink in. I'd love a 20-30 min version of this!

    I did this practice along with a few other ten minute ones. Great release of gas and then the next morning, things were moving. Yoga is magical.

    I can't express how tankful I am that I could your page. I was suffering from a MASSIVE IC flare that was ruining my life.     I just found your channel and have watched some videos which I find so helpful!
    I have prolapse, but didn't have many symptoms until a recent flare up. I'm used to exercising quite intensely, with HITT and dumbell workouts, but am having to be quite careful now. It is so discouraging that despite trying to implement good posture, being tuned into my pelvic floor and performing exercises very carefully, I am progressing so slowly. One day an exercise routine is helpful for me and another day the same routine causes more symptoms. The last few days I may have discovered that power yoga helps release some of my pelvic floor tension, as it incorporates elongation and might help counteract the tension that comes with contracting my muscles and pelvic floor. But I am concerned if I am doing everything correctly.
    I know I should relax the pelvic floor while lowering into a squat or lung, and then contract while breathing out upon rising, however what about during transitions from one pose to another? Or while holding a pose (sumo squat, deep lung)? Or pulsing while in a deep squat? Should I be contracting my pelvis floor at these times?
    And how do I safely perform cardio workouts or HITT workouts? Even if they are low impact I'm not always sure if I should be holding a pelvic lift or relaxing my pelvic floor, especially during pulsing movements or quick movements.
    If you have any tips for me, or would like to do any videos on any of these concerns I have, I would greatly appreciate it. I am seeing a physical therapist, but it is hard to cover everything in so few sessions.

      I don't know your age but I found that after a certain age high-intensity workouts just weren't for me anymore. I mean, I was mid push-up with the timer going, and I just collapsed and cried. I was 100% burned out on exercise. It took me months to do more than walking and easy yoga before I found my balance again. Now I can run and do power yoga but no more hardcore workouts for me. If I lunge, I take my time. Better for my aging body and mind! Also there is no "perfect" way to breathe. Every body is different. During transitions, do what comes naturally, listen to your body. I hope that helps.

    Doc it fucking worked!! I had no bowel movement for the past week, I’m constantly constipated and I was so worried, I even felt like my colon stopped signaling to my brain to create the urge to shit. I did 3 of your videos and around 8 hours later I went to the bathroom. You couldn’t imagine the joy I felt feeling the shit coming out of my ass I literally shrieked because of excitement. To those struggling I recommend also trying probiotics since that worked best for me, I also drank half a milk carton since I was trying to add more liquids to my body to soften the stool and also because I’ve never drunk 8 cups of water before(which led to my constant constipation)and you should add more liquid to your body as well. Avoid eating fried or processed food. I started doing the things above(including yoga vids from doc) the night before and was able to shit exactly a day later. If none of these things work for you in 1-2 days, seek help from medical professionals even when it sounds embarrassing.Also if you don’t feel the urge to shit like I did it’s probably because you’re stressed, so I tried meditating for 90 mins(+ the things above) after I finished 4 stressful school projects during the week and I definitely felt the urge again. Good luck!

    This is a great yoga but I would need the same exercice with a slower pace one in each pose. Like I couldn't follow the breath because my mind is still processing with the position change but it's a good exercice thank you ❤

    Thank you! Digestive upset is not something that I struggle with (until I started taking fish oil for my brains-even after 4 days off of it I’m still v uncomfortable) so I’ve just been googling like mad, half desperate for relief. Then I took some deep (kind of) breaths and remembered yoga has provided solutions for so so many things in my 8 year practice, so here we are. 🙏 I appreciate you.

      Hi Tracy & Welcome! I do not have any specifically on inguinal hernia's (I will add that to my list of filming) Breathing is a really good place to start & some of the pelvic floor relaxation videos. Those work on similar areas with the breathing.

    I struggle with right breathing method. Its hard to pay attention to my phone while breathing, while trying to do exercise
