  • In this video, Morgan installs a new reverse camera into his D22 Nissan Navara (Frontier). Although done on a Navara, the process can crossover to any vehicle you have. If you have any questions, leave them down in the comment section and we'll try our hardest to help.

    No need to drill rear of cab, there are factory air vents in the rear of the cab on the d22 that the wires can be tucked through.

      Whereabouts are they? Couldn't seem to find them on mine. Really didnt want to drill into the back but its too late now haha

      @@Project_B if you shine a torch between the tub and the cab you will see it just behind the rear seat belt assembly. You do need to unbolt the rear seat belt to get access but it's pretty easy to do.

      @ACM Thanks for the info! I'll pin your comment at the top so hopefully others will be able to do it that way👍

      Vents on right side, between cab and tub.

      My 2014 has a factory hole near the left hand rear seatbelt with a grommet negative cable and if you look under the cab is a grommet perfect for cables.

    You are a legend was stuck wondering why it was upside down. Got out of bed to try it and sure as shit it’s lined up properly. Can’t thank you enough🙏 hope the nav is running well

    No need to drill - there’s so many accessory grommets on the floor, ie. two under the driver’s seat, two under passenger’s. Moving the seat out of the way to lift the carpet takes literally 15s with an impact wrench.

      Thanks, unfortunately I'm not too sure about the dash cover as it came on the car when it was purchased

    Hey mate, great video! Do you have any tips for finding the tail light to tap into? How do I access the loom?

    • @Project_B
      @Project_B  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What i did was take off the tailight and unplug it and with the plug on the loom side, just test it with a multimeter to find the reverse, and then just tap into that wire. If you also have a d22, the wire was the red one 2nd on the top left of the plug

    A reverse camera is the best add on money can buy. But I want to know how the hell we parked before them? 🤣

    wish there was more that 10 seconds of footage that wasn't blurred in this and clear instructions, having to re-watch a million times just to know what's happening. plus all the skipped steps you didn't show. barely a how to. don't often leave negative comments but this is just bad I'm afraid. Surprised you posted such a bad quality video.
