Did you keep the factory solenoid in to keep the ECU happy? Looks like you just looped the vac line back on itself to the solenoid?

why not mask off the (inside) barrel? next time, take the air out of the tire/tyre so the sidewall is more compliant to allow you better access to the lip edge. I want to change the color of my 2019 wrx base 17x8 whees, but once I start down that road, there's no going back. Tough thing to do on US$350 OE wheels. 😢

One of the problems with trying to impart information on the internet is that most contributors do not give enough detailed information on EXACTLY how they did the most mundane of tasks for fear that it might bore people. I was very interested in what grommet you passed both the power cable and coaxial cable through on the D22 especially when I realised that you were installing the exact Uniden radio that I just purchased & am in the process of installing in my own D22. Unfortunately your video glossed over this essential information (6.06 - 6.50) which is a real disappointment. You spoke about running the cables through the 'bung' but did not show it. I have scoured the internet for the information on which grommet I might use but no one has actually done a video showing the procedure in detail except for a young fellow whose channel is called North Oz but his video was quite poor quality & quite dark. Thank you for your effort with this one but I still do not know which grommet to choose & it would appear that I am not alone in seeking this information, particularly with regard to D22 Nissan Navara. There are forums all over the internet asking the same question but no one seems able to post pictures of them actually feeding the wires through. I have the wiring for my unit almost completed by using Ad A Circuit using my accessory circuit on my fuse box so that I don't have to run them through the firewall, but the antenna cable is still a problem which I will need to solve.

Watching you two is like watching a pair of negative nancies. You either pick a car that’s completely thrashed and start pointing out the obvious and then say have to think about it or you find a decent vehicle and then start picking at the tiny scratches or tiny dents or some birdshit and then still umm and rrrrrr about it. Come on make a decision and buy one. Auctions are made up of 85% rubbish that dealers won’t touch only dodgy dealers buy from auctions like this and simply cross their fingers and sell them on to some unsuspecting customers who then finance them and owe 3-4 times what the car is worth.

My 2006 Navara seems to have a completely different stock 7 pin plug to every available primary harness. Any ideas what to do? Sounding like I might have to wire it myself.
