Beep beep!!! I had to order this when it reminded me of one of my favorite Cary Grant movies “People Will Talk”. (Totally random I know.) There is a toy train scene where they keep yelling beep beep! Lol
Nicole, Im at home recovering from covid and staying well enough to take care of my seedlings 😂 but your videos of your bouquet bars and harvests are on repeat on my tv. I just love your videos, arrangements and flowers. I can't wait to grow flowers and your videos are satisfying my flower itch! Thanks for being you! You're a true joy to watch.
Field of Dahlias! It's seven degrees here in Idaho and I just had to order the Mikayla Miranda after seeing her in the field with you. Brought instant warmth. You bring such a smile to my heart Nicole, thank you. Your excitement over flowers is contagious. Enjoy the day dear 😊
SEVEN DEGREES!!! Ackkk!! & Oh my gosh!! 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶 I'm in Central Texas. It's 58° right this very minute. Altho, last night it did dip down into the high 30's, and THAT still has me shivering!! I'm such a hot house flower... Our weather is having major mood swings... Is yours? I think it needs a psych eval. It can't be bipolar if it's only involving ONE polar continent, Right? 🤭 Sorry. That's prolly not funny. I'm having a weird morning... Please try to excuse my weirdness. 🥴 ❤️ It's nice you ordered a Dahlia!! 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
I ordered Dahlia tubers last year and has them planted in my flower beds. They looked great while the lasted. Then this last fall the wild pigs came through and tore up my beds, eating my tubers as they went and all of my lawn. I spent all winter long putting everything back together.
Son of a thrip! I already purchased my swan island dahlias actually 2 orders! You have good taste I might add. I'll be growing 46 from tubers and 49 from seed. Chilsons pride, Pooh, bashful, blue bayou, bride to be, crazy legs, debora Renae, Nettie, center court, I do, tapioca, gitts crazy, Koko puff, maarn, azteca, lights out, giggles, Gabrielle Marie, good day, garden time, vixen, voo doo, my little sunshine, cheers, day dreamer, swans Olympic flame, I'm a hottie, Mai tai, tutti fruitti, Mikayla Miranda, awe shucks, dragon berry, tootles, brookside Cheri, wildcat, lollipop, dazzle me, Benjamin Matthew, chick-a-dee, polveton supreme, lemonade, hollyhill black beauty, hokey pokey, taboo!
I enjoyed my "small world" last year so I ordered all the colors of their little pom pom dahlias for this season! I have 25 new varieties coming from Swan Island this year and the anticipation is killing me!
The first time I saw a Mary Jo was at our local botanical garden. Then I saw that Swan Island carried them. I have been thinking of getting one since my name is Mary Jo!
Mai Tai, September Morn, bleutiful and sun kissed were some of my favorites from swan island in 2021! The bugs seemed especially attracted to the yellow but I still loved having them in the garden.
I finally am getting Kelgai Anne!! (Fingers crossed it arrives) Also excited for one call Sturm that I hadnt seen before. Cant wait to be able to start waking them up!
I'm getting 23 dahlias for Swan Island Dahlia in the spring. I live 40 minutes from their Dahlia farm and am blessed to get to wonder the fields in August and September when they are open. My favorite from last year was Midnight Moonlight. You will love it. 🌸🦋🌸
You make me happy 😁 ... Thanks for being silly 😜 I always try to tame my silly and you help me know I can be me. Oh yah... You inspire me to grow beautiful flowers.... I was just a florist. Last year I saw some of your and can't eat the grass videos and I grow to sell now. I still use bought flowers because I have customers year round.
I grew some discount store mix dahlias last year, just to see how they would do. Was not disappointed! So, this year I am purchasing intentionally, a mix of styles and colors. Thank you for the discount code!
Swan Island is just up the road from us, we go to their festival every Summer and they’ve taken lots of my money over the years 😃 Touché, Ivanetti and Nettie did well for me
I don't have any room for more Dahlias this year so I am going to live vicariously through you and the beautiful Dahlias at Flower Hill Farm! I know you won't disappoint because everything you grow is beautiful!! I am re-watching all your old content to pass the time until spring. Blessings to you and your family.
I live about 30 minutes from Swan Island Dahlias and their tubers are awesome! Their fields are open for the entire month of August and strolling through acres of blooming Dahlias is a dahlia lovers dream. I highly recommend. You should add "Spoiled Rotten" to you list of must grow for pure joy! Spoiled Rotten will thrill you!
I also bought dahlias from Swan Island back in September when they first became available! I’m excited to grow all of them, however I really excited for Myrtle’s Folly, Doodlebug, Kasasagi and Ice Tea! I bought 7 varieties and got one free.
Love your selection! Dahlia Teesbrooke Audrey is also beautiful. Nicole, what I noticed is that seeds, bulbs etc. are quit more expensive in your part of the world than in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Ohhhh - BALL DAHLIAS!!! THOSE are my favs too!! Their formation is just so... So... PERFECT ! Oh gosh, this cracks me up: (A lil' story for ya...) The tiny white ball dahlias- I don't have any (yet). And I DO like them! They're so perfect, and tiny!! Here's the funny part- Every time I've seen one in a YT video, this quote pops into my head: "We are Here! We Are HERE!! I have fallen in love with Dahlia's and am really hoping to get my hands on Jowey Winnie and Linda's baby (My mom's name is Linda) . I have a mental health Dahlia section planned as well! Love it!!! :D
I also ordered more dahlias from Swan Island! All are closely named after horses I have had. Lights Out is one, then Ginger Willo, Hot Tamale, and also Mikayla Miranda and one called Fabulous! My favorite last year was Maki. Can’t wait!!!
Hi Nicole, I live in Ireland 🇮🇪 but was born and raised in Croydon and never knew there was a 'Croydon' dahlia, it gave me the shivers, also when you mention 'Bells of Ireland' it has the same effect ❤
So many... So little space! Love these from 2021 - Sweet Nathalie, Cornel Bronze, Run Rock Ashley, Jowey Winnie, Jomanda, MM Buttercream, Beak Out, Zudert Mystery Fox, Brookside Cheri, Clearview Daniel. 2022 Looking forward to Woodland Wild Thing, Val's Candy and from SID - Debora Renee, Gabbie's Wish, and MAarn
Last year my two favorites were Zingaro (a Walmart special) and Hollyhill Black Beauty. I was shocked I would like the dark maroon of Holleyhill, but it was gorgeous! This year I'm excited to see how Day Dreamer, White Swan, Crichton Honey and Teddy look. Fingers crossed some of the tubers survive!
Thanks Nicole! This will be my third year at attempting to grow dalhias. Here in hot and humid Louisiana zone 8b I've had a hard time trying to grow these!!! This year at Christmas someone told me dalhias need shade which blew my mind since they're full sun flowers. Also, I was suppose to be done ordering flowers.... but just went send bought more from swan Island. Thanks for getting us that discount code!
Junkyard dog. I ordered it last year and it didn’t make it. I ordered it again this year, I hope it thrives and produces many beautiful junkyard puppies!
Grew dahlia for the first time last year. Learned so much with just a few plants... and fell in love. Stored those tubers and ordered about 2 dozen more..... I can't wait!!! Thanks for the info share.
I think I’ll be excited by any of the dahlias that I have over wintered surviving 🤣😂 It’s my first time storing tubers so I’m very nervous and so far so good 😬
Dahlias are very pretty, long lasting summertime flowers. Easy care too. I get why you are so enamored of them. As I may have mentioned earlier, I grow them in containers and are attempting to preserve the tubers in my basement over the winter for a spring replanting
Oh that Los is amazing, for me I’m looking forward to HS DATE, and ART DECO both of these I’ve grown in the past and I just loved them so much. Art Deco is more of a decretive dahlia but has just long enough stems for my needs. ❤️❤️
I ordered a bunch of Dahlias this year for my garden. Previously I've only grown 1 variety. The only one you ordered that I also ordered is Totally Tangerine. It just looked so cute I couldn't resist it. I tried to order 1 of each type of dahlia(pom pom, dinner plate, anemone, etc) I'm just excited to see how each will differ.
Some of my favorites that I grew last year were Hollyhill Lemon Ice, Hollyhill Orange Ice, Hollyhill Finlandia, Hollyhill Black Beauty (I got that one from Swan Island Dahlias), Centercourt, Innocence, Colorado Classic and Maks Royal Ruby.
Thank you for introducing all of these new varieties to us. My favorite Dahlia is Arabian Night variety. I am potting one today. I like Peachy and Iceberg Dahlias the most out of these presented in the video, and would love to plant them next. Hope I find them.
I’m so partial to flowers in the pinky range so I loved Peaches, White Wizard, Linda’s Baby, Breakout, Peaches and Dreams… I could go on and on. Enchantress is stunning, Bluetiful has my heart, Foxy Lady, Cheribino… I must stop 🛑!
So exciting! My American Sun dahlias that I grew last year were my favorite cut flower 🌸 but I don’t remember them getting 6”. They were a bit smaller which made them perfect! I am sooooooo here for this! Missing summertime! ☀️ 🌻
Thank you so much for sharing. I love dahlias. I’m in zone 9b Northern California. I just purchased several tubers. I’ll be planting mine in a couple of weeks. I’ll plant some in the ground and some in pots. I ordered several last year from Swan Island. They have beautiful dahlias. I enjoy watching your videos. Blessings to you and your family 🙏🏾
I live about an hour from Swan Island, but had never been there until this Fall. I took my mom up for their festival and ended up with 17 new varieties. I fell in love with collarette and orchid styles, but only allowed myself 2 this year. I am anxiously anticipating Star Child and Pooh! I will pos pictures I took and tag you on Instagram. Thanks for sharing!
My FAVORITE video of the year! My most exciting new Dahlia purchase is Beach Bum from Rainy Sunday Farm. I was lucky enough to get one before they flew off the shelf, figuratively speaking. I also am very excited about growing Chimicum Davi from Chelan Butte Dahliary. I could go on.....But that's probably enough torture :)
Hi Nicole! Gorgeous flowers! I'm most excited for one I purchased called Flamethrower... And also one called Kasasagi, both from Swan Island.... Pom poms are the best!!!! You're such an inspiration thank you for all the cheer you bring to our lives!!! 💮🏵️🌻
Senior Hope and Night Silence craze is going on here :) Also Rawhide , the rest is already on your list. Hope I didn’t encourage you to buy more 😅 which you did to me with you exiting list!
I ordered back in September from Swan island and I’m so glad I did as most are sold out. That however didn’t stop me from getting many more using your code lol!
I'm excited to grow lilac time! It's a sport of the tomas edison dahlia and that one was the best performer of any dahlia I've ever had! I'm expecting big things 💜
I thought about what you said about Peaches. I don’t know what it’s like in USA, but when you order dahlias in Europe, you have to make sure that you order the one called “Peaches n’ cream” and not “Peaches and cream”. The one everyone wants is the first “Peaches n’ cream” and that’s the same variety you showed. I got lucky and got 12 tubers of that one 😊 for about 4 dollars each. The other variety is vastly different.
Please update when you get Sherwood's Peach to bloom. This will be the third season I have had it and it grows great but never blooms. I have a hard time with dinnerplates in Chicago because they start late, then stall out in the high summer heat. Labyrinth and Penhill Watermelon did the same. If I could get them to bloom, they would be my most exciting. Also most excited to grow Creme de Cassis and American Dawn for the first time.
Hi girl, just found your channel and subbed! Love your personality and the energy you bring to your videos! Been an orchid grower enthusiastic and always loved growing plants and flowers. I have never been excited this much about dahlias until this year due to yours and Erin's channel. Just ordered a lot of daliahs on line and hoping to grow them well. Anyways I am excited about tangerine , which is one of the ones that I ordered. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week 😀.
oh how i wish we could attach a picture to answer this, i've got a great photo of the purple one you called your favorite, where one bloom was solid purple on half and variegated on the other side, striking anomaly indeed, and bought from swan dahlia last year, but only half my tubers sprouted
I grew Bluetiful this past year. One of my most prolific. Little Scottie was a late starter and I didn't get to use it, but once or twice. Hope you have better luck with that one.
“Run, you fools.” 🤣 You are the best!
Labyrinth is the beauty I'm most excited to grow this year! 🌸 🌸
Deputy Bob is an absolute stunner. I grew it last year and it was magnificent
The peaches dahlias are absolutely stunning 😍🤩
Swan’s Sunset is absolutely gorgeous
Held my breath thoughout this video. Those dahlias are so breathtaking, can't wait to see the growth on them.
Beep beep!!! I had to order this when it reminded me of one of my favorite Cary Grant movies “People Will Talk”. (Totally random I know.) There is a toy train scene where they keep yelling beep beep! Lol
White wizard O M G. So softly beautiful. Thank you for a wow beauty trip 🥰💞
Your Gandalf impression is spot on! 😄 Love me some dahlias!
Nicole,
Im at home recovering from covid and staying well enough to take care of my seedlings 😂 but your videos of your bouquet bars and harvests are on repeat on my tv. I just love your videos, arrangements and flowers. I can't wait to grow flowers and your videos are satisfying my flower itch! Thanks for being you! You're a true joy to watch.
I love your goofy humor.
I'm most excited about Cornel Bronze & Sweet Nathalie! Can't wait to see your dahlia field this year!
I’m soooo excited about mine & Cafe Au Lait❤
@@tracycrider7778 👏
EVERY. SINGLE. ONE! I'm in love with Dahlias 💗🧡💛💚💜🖤💙

I think it needs a psych eval.
It can't be bipolar if it's only involving ONE polar continent,

🤭
Sorry. That's prolly not funny.
I'm having a weird morning...
Please try to excuse my weirdness. 🥴 ❤️
It's nice you ordered a Dahlia!!
🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
I ordered Dahlia tubers last year and has them planted in my flower beds. They looked great while the lasted. Then this last fall the wild pigs came through and tore up my beds, eating my tubers as they went and all of my lawn. I spent all winter long putting everything back together.
Hi Nicole. 'Sylvia' is a gorgeous orange ball dahlia. Long lasting cut flower too.
The break out looks good, maybe the name is saying something 🤭. All lovely dahlias.
I am intrigued to see what Bluetiful will look like in real life as well :D.
Lindas baby & breakout were by far my favs I grew last year!!
Linda's Baby is one of my favourites!! She is so prolific and goes all season long. :)
I’m most excited about Ah La Mode and Peaches. I spent over $250, gift to myself, for some back pay I was owed.😀
Dahlias and Peonies are my favorite..
Your passion for dahlia inspired me to grow some from seeds.im glad i did it.
Love Swan Island Dahlias. 🥰 I grow Mary Jo, Gabrielle Marie, Nicholas and Half Pint.... yes an orange 🍊 theme 😇
That orange Pekoe.Wow. my daughter love dalia. I enjoy you take care of you, and get some you love.🎉❤️🎉
Good morning, Nicole ☕️ I love Dahlias and this video is just what I needed to see! I’m up here in Boston during a massive snowstorm today ❄️❄️🥶.
I love that picture behind you!! ❤️
I enjoyed my "small world" last year so I ordered all the colors of their little pom pom dahlias for this season! I have 25 new varieties coming from Swan Island this year and the anticipation is killing me!
This will be my 1st year to grow dahlias. Cannot wait to get my tubers!
I still want that hoodie lol 😂😂😂 I love the color!!
The first time I saw a Mary Jo was at our local botanical garden. Then I saw that Swan Island carried them. I have been thinking of getting one since my name is Mary Jo!
I am growing Thomas Edison for the first time this year. Really excited about them.
Oh, I forgot.... I also added many more yellow and orange as well...
Cherubino is my fave! Just such a cutie 🥰 it’ll go with any bouquet 💐

Dahlias are probably my favorite flower! Gorgeous.
I love seeing the dahlias in the garden in their raw state. Please show more of this.
Ohhhh - BALL DAHLIAS!!!
THOSE are my favs too!!
Their formation is just so...
So...
PERFECT !
Oh gosh, this cracks me up:
(A lil' story for ya...)
The tiny white ball dahlias-
I don't have any (yet).
And I DO like them!
They're so perfect, and tiny!!
Here's the funny part-
Every time I've seen one in a YT video, this quote pops into my head:
"We are Here!
We Are HERE!!
WE ARE HERE!!!"
👂😆😆😆
Like EVERY time!!
🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘
It's from the movie
Horton Hears A Who.
You know - when the folks from Whoville are trying to yell loud enough for the others to hear them!
WE ARE HERE!!!
I dunno...
It's prolly just me & my particular weirdness...
No other Dahlias have that effect on me.
Just the Horton flowers.
O! Someone should rename a little white one Horton!
OMG, that would make me laugh even harder every time I laid eyes on it!!
I might even hold one up to my giant ear, just to make sure there aren't any Whos that need saving... !
(OH, who am I kidding! No maybes about it!!
OF COARSE I would do that!!
Like, EVERY single time.)
⚪️🗯👂🐘 💟 🤍 💟
One of my favorite movies/stories! I love Horton

I have never been able to pick a favorite dahlia. They are all my favorites!!! I can’t wait to see all of yours in bloom!!!
Thanks Nicole! This will be my third year at attempting to grow dalhias. Here in hot and humid Louisiana zone 8b I've had a hard time trying to grow these!!!
This year at Christmas someone told me dalhias need shade which blew my mind since they're full sun flowers.
So this year, I'll be making a shade cloth structure to cover the dalhias from the afternoon sun.
I'm dreaming of dalhias with you! Hopefully this will be my year to not just dream of dalhias, but to be able to offer them to my wonderful customers.
Wish me luck!!
Also, I was suppose to be done ordering flowers.... but just went send bought more from swan Island. Thanks for getting us that discount code!
Best of luck- I hope the shade will help!
Thank you so much. It's seldom I learn about good books on flowers and gardening.
Linda's Baby made me open mouth gasp. Nicole has obviously subliminally impacted me. 😆 Thank you for the coupon code!
You're so welcome!

I grew a few dahlias last year that I purchased from various sources and just loved them! Your choices are all so beautiful!
I am obsessed with pom pom dahlias! Any color.
Little Blessings is speaking to me. Fingers crossed for your breakouts! 🤞
I'm trying several dahlias this year. Mostly dinnerplate varieties. But I'm most excited about penhill dark monarch and cafe au lait.

Any chance of a dahlia tour? :) Honeymoon is my favorite of the year in my garden
Let it begin, let it BEGIN!!!!!!
oh how i wish we could attach a picture to answer this, i've got a great photo of the purple one you called your favorite, where one bloom was solid purple on half and variegated on the other side, striking anomaly indeed, and bought from swan dahlia last year, but only half my tubers sprouted
I grew Bluetiful this past year. One of my most prolific. Little Scottie was a late starter and I didn't get to use it, but once or twice. Hope you have better luck with that one.
