I got one maybe different brand but look exactly the same in Amazon about 2 years ago, they were ridiculously inexpensive, liked it and got 3 altogether. If you place it on its side with a rock on the legs to hold them steady they become great windshields, much better than the sectional ones that fall down often. I love them.

Brought one of these to put my stove on to make tea and coffee when fishing. Great bit of kit light and easy to assemble.

Bought a very similar one off AliExpress, haven't had a chance yet to use it in anger but much more compact than the OEX table I have. Just a gear junkie at heart :)

I always found that the amount of 'necessary' kit built up a bit as my adventures went along. On multi-day backpacking trips, I would still make room for a bit of kit like this. Simon has a useful, packable table as well. I am pleased to be able to check out both products.

@@kentsurvivalgearreview586 I trod the trails in our New England States: soils were thin and springs were aplenty. In the height of summer, the air was humid and the ground was damp. Keeping the food and utensils up off the ground was a good thing.

The coating is not hot resistant. Hot pan or small hot alcohol stove.
Love it. Have one for years. My wife has her own. Had one shipped from the UK to The Netherlands made by Alpkid. Identical.

Nice review - am enjoying the channel - but I can't think of a single situation I've been in where I wished I had that table. The floor, a tree stump, bottom of a mess tin, some split wood, rucksack, etc. there is always something to use for this.

    • @kentsurvivalgearreview586

Cheers :) wet and muddy would be my main answer.. and if you have a bad back perhaps.. helps a little and reachable from a camping folding chair :)

    Hi Andy!
Nice table. I can see how handy it would be camping. Handy around the house or in a bug out bag too I imagine.

These are excellent tables, and as you said, they're very light.
The one I bought is branded Fire Maple, but is exactly the same as the one you featured, I suspect that if a customer orders enough quantity they will brand it to their choice.
This is considerably lighter than my Snow Peak Ozen Solo Tables and it assembles much faster, too.
Where weight isn't a factor I take the Ozen Solo Table as I prefer using that.

WOW! That must be some futuristic space she stuff! "Works literally nothing". LOL!! But I do like that. I can't on ready soft spot on River Banks here in VA. That send like it offers a great solution to the stove/pan tipping problem I encounter frequently. Thanks!

Looks good! I use my fold-up aluminium wind shield as a table (if it’s not mega-windy!) and it works pretty well. Gives me a much more flat surface to work on than just the ground, and I put my stove on there as well as other cooking stuff. Not raised up and not as flat as this though!
Nice one Andy! - ATB, Mark 👍

In one of your previous videos you showed your small camp chair,I purchased a small chair from Trespass which has wide feet on it, and it was a reasonable price at £25.00. I know it’s nothing to do with this video but I watched the chair one earlier today hope this might help some people.

I prefer a fishing bivvy table as they have adjustable legs, also more stable and have a lip to stop things sliding off for whatever reason.

    Don’t know grams give ounces

    • @tuttobicci
      @tuttobicci 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Divide the grams by 25 to give you a close approximation to ounces.
