I've used the pockets on camp chairs to collect rainwater. Although, I didn't need any rain water and I didn't think about collecting any. I have to say, it worked great!

The seat assembles much more easy when you put the fabric on the shorter (lower) poles first. The long ones bends better and makes it simpler to put on the fourth one.

I have a camp chair with the pockets and a folding table on the side and I love it. I do use the pockets to hold my phone, flashlight, bug spray, napkins, kleenex and other random stuff as needed. Definitely a chair that is for regular camping and not hike in camping, but it works great for what I use it for.

Our church has yearly "camp day" where we have outdoor church. WE have church in a wooded area. My walker is not a great thing to take for a seat. People have these huge camp chairs that I just cannot manage. I have been looking for something simpler and easier. I have also lost 66 pounds! NOW I can use this chair you just reviewed. IT IS within my budget. YAY! I could get one for both me and my DAD and we could go on the next OUT DOOR church event. GREAT! PERFECT. EASY to set up and it rains in OREGON, so we always have wet and damp ground. NEED those extra feet. Thanks! so much Luke. PERFECT for us! Thank you very much!!!! Been watching and waiting for you to review a chair that would work for this! Blessings from Oregon

Love my Helinox backpacking chair…my heaviest luxury item, but SO worth it at the end of a day of hiking. Otherwise you’re leaning up against a log or sitting on one, if you’re lucky. Otherwise, you’re on the ground with nothing to hold up your back.

Quick tip: I've noticed you put the long poles in the seat poclets first. Since you were complaining about the strength it takes to get the poles in the pockets you should try doing the short poles first (the longer poles will flex more and make it easier). I've found the same thing on my REI chair - putting the long poles in last is way easier.

    Pocket
I was a anti chair guy but now I take it everywhere! I went with the tusk chair because at the time it was tested and reviewed by some very big guys with great reviews. It is a heavy chair, but it has a pocket!! And I use it! I always use the pocket, usually for a beer. But even on long hikes or camping I will put a water bottle in it or flashlight, cooking utensils, or even just a hand towel rag, sometimes the wrapper from opening food so it doesn’t blow away until I can clean up. Sometimes I will keep rocks in my chair pocket! I use them to throw at my buddies when they try to put their beers in my pocket, unless there full, for me to drink 👍🏻

I wasn't disappointe to find I didn't need to! It's a great tent and I have since purchased other model tents.
I also have the similar chair to the reviewed one. Though at my age, I can't justify carrying any chair on a m-day trips, I would def on an overnighter or car camping.

Took me like 5 days to decide 😂 I'm 195cm tall at 100kg and I get slight discomfort after 1-2 hours of constant sitting in it, mostly in the back of my legs, but I tend to extend my legs flat, so I deserve it. Naturehike has been knocking it out of the park lately. After I bought the Massif from HK last August, I recently imported the Naturehike Dune 10.9 which is the "big brother" to the Massif. There's a smaller version of the Dune which is exactly the same as the Massif but tall enough to stand in. I've been LOVING it as my "glamping" hot tent. I would highly recommend you take a look at it!

I had to buy the non-sinking feet to use with my Helinox chair. I bought a high-back camping chair at Costco for $37 and use it for fishing as I usually nap when I fish. Lol. As a table, I use a cutting board that fits perfectly within the triangle. Good review, Luke.

I've got several chairs that have the pockets and they do get used, but they get used when the chair isn't being used for camping. Waiting for a parade or fireworks is when they come in handy. There are usually books and snacks in the pockets. One chair has a little cooler bag in the arm rest. Camping the book and other entertainment is in the tent, snacks are in the cooler, everything has other places. Pockets are really only good for events where everything you need has to be right at the chair

If you're up for the 2 pound range, there's the Ta-Da Series 2 walking stick chair. It weighs 2.2 pounds. No back but still a very nice chair that holds up to 300 pounds and it's also a decent cane/walking-stick/trekking-thing. I think the Series 1 version is lighter but also does not hold as much weight.

I've used the pockets to store my paddle gloves when I'm at site and ready to relax. I've tended to put them down on stumps or logs, just to spend 10 minutes looking for them when it's time to leave. I imagine it disappeared because they got caught for copying the style. Mine uses a floor footprint mat that the bottom feet insert into for sand/dirt/grass environments.

Interestingly I just checked the Australian Naturehike store and we have a different set/style of moon chairs. They look similar but are not the same. Prices are very reasonable too.

I already have and love my Helinox chair that weighs like a pound...but chair choice can be as important as tent choice during different weather conditions. The Helinox is great for backpacking, but something like this would be a better choice for car camping or line sitting due to comfort. It's not bad for backpacking either if you don't mind the extra pound. I'd buy it.

I'm glad you told me what the weight restriction is, I'm 220 looking at it like maybe I would fold that thing but
Glad it supports anothe 45 pounds and the price is freaking awesome

For chairs with pockets I have used them I put my drinks in them and since I smoke a cigar I have an ashtray the size of a can of coke and they all work well

I have the Sportneer chair you reviewed a few years ago and have put things in the pockets while sitting at camp but definitely can do without. Still, this chair is the same weight and I see no need to buy this one. BTW, big fan of Nature hike here! I

Hey, great video, I've got this chair already and I really Ike it. The anti sink feet do remove the smaller caps off the bottom of chair, but it's never bothered me, they just end up staying inside the bigger feet when I pack it away and I always use the bigger anti sink feet each time I use the chair so not an issue for me. I also sometimes carry the chair separately or externally from pack, by using a clip on strap on the loops of the carry bag and carry it over my shoulder. I also have the green version and I love the colour not one of these bright in your face colours that camping chairs usually come in lol😊.

    Hi Luke
I got to say i love my One tigris high back it's so comfortable, with the high back i can lounge in comfort either sitting upright or laying back. for me it's the right height for cooking, then once i have eaten fire pit going, just chillin, I can just lay back and watch the night sky, looking out for satellites passing over head, it is surprising just how many you can see crossing the star lit heavens above you.

The could provide a nylon mesh netting for the feet. That would be good to stay above the mud and have some weight reduction as well

I have the Sportneer chair per your previous reviews and love it. I do use the pockets from time to time for a drink or l slide my phone in one of them. Not sure if you’d still recommend it in comparison to this chair!

Thanks for the review. Just bought the high back version to try from Amazon. Some of these brands are way too high priced. This is no longer a novel design, competition is driving costs down.
