Idk what that color is called, but it looks killer with those bronze wheels. The STO has so many holes and wings and stuff going on, it's nice to see it in a more muted color.
A few years ago I worked on some software that was destined for the Huracan and another model I don't remember. I never saw the car in person, but I had a center console piece on my desk, similar to the one in the video. I remember that red cover for the ignition button having a very satisfying feel to it, the way it would give you a bit of resistance, then lock in place and so on. I remember thinking "so that's what luxury feels like". A little silly but cool.
Its rare that Doug gets his facts wrong, but the STO name is not just for show, it is actually a real homologation model. It forms the basis for the Huracan GT3 EVO2 that competes in several series like IMSA or IGTC. That‘s also the reason why it has a roof scoop although you can clearly see that the scoop is fake on the street legal STO. They installed it so that it can serve as real air inlet on the race car.
Honestly, I would argue the carrera GT is more car than this. It has a bigger engine, Manual transmission, virtually nothing keeping it to the road except experience and tires.

That thing sounds like a Bat out of Hell and definitely different than the normal Huracans, but then, mayebe the Owner had a different Exhaust System added to it. Either way, you got to hear one in Person, sounds so much more intense and earth-shaking than a Video could ever do it Justice Prost & Cheers from the Bavarian Alps

Surprised Doug missed the fact that the "roof scoop" isn't connected to the intake. It's on there for homologation purposes as the race car has a prepper carbon fibre intake that connects the scoop to the engine
Hey Doug, I absolutely love your reviews from day one. One thing I really like about your videos is how you show the picture of the car on the screen when you are making references about another car. It helps people get a visual of what your referring too. Keep up all of your work, and also thank Mrs. Demuro, for her support to allow you to bring us such great content.
I actually really enjoy the storage area in the "Confengo." It looks like it is the exact size for a helmet, so you could just always keep your helmet up there, so if you want to go to the track you always have it because it's too much of a pain to pull it out when you get home
Funny enough, I think this was supposed to be a model meant to homologate some of the aerodynamic features like the roof scoop and such for GT3! You can find the same scoop on the Huracan GT3 Evo II, shark fin and all! This applies to the Super Trofeo Evo as well!
I love the EVO (especially RWD) and Performante, but after a few days with the STO last year (in Italy!) I now have a favorite car of all time. I still prefer the looks of the Aventador, but the STO is infinitely more fun to drive. I don't think it will ever be topped, especially with the N/A engines slowly dying out.

It’s so hard to get excited about super/hyper cars these days…when you essentially put up with all the many impracticalities of them as cars…since the Tesla plaid came out…and it’s quicker and faster and silent and you can have 4 other people in the car with you….I used to love all these Exotic cars…because the just meant speed…but now they just seem like dinosaurs…it’s like having a Rolex ….when everyone has a phone in their pocket that tells time…I think the days of the internal combustion engine are coming to a close very soon …the just don’t make any sense anymore 😢
one thing you do kinda have wrong here is the reason for the sto name, its homologated for gt3 racing and was done so some of the aero treatments and the air scoop on the roof could be used on the GT3 car
I drove one of these at a supercar experience in las vegas and it was probably the most FUN to drive car I've ever been in, and the sound of the engine is also so satisfying, the downshifts never get old! I also drove a 911 GT2 which was a bit faster, but I enjoyed driving this more for so many reasons... it sounds better, the seats are more comfortable, the interior is cooler looking, the way the windows cut so far down into the door to give you visibility into the corner you're entering, and it REVS SO HIGH LOL. The weight balance is so perfect for slinging it around a track, it just has such a great rhythm and perfect amount of over/understeer, very controllable and fluid feeling even for a beginner at track driving. All around amazing car for the type of driving it's built for

The lack of a door panel storage and almost no interior storage was a deal breaker for me as there would be nowhere to put my stacks of Chipotle napkins. Went with a 2013 Honda Civic instead.
For a quarter of the price you get the C8 ZO6 which is faster, looks better inside and outside (Lambos still look good OUTSIDE) and has ACTUAL DOOR HANDELS!😂 It makes 670hp from a NA V8 which is an amazing feat💯👍
I personally think the big name manufactures are setting thier prices so ridiculously high, that it creates an opening for elecric/hybrid sports cars putting out say 1200hp. There's an insane price difference between a corvette and this.
So much better looking than Shmee's Barneymobile STO. This is the best looking Huracan I've seen in ages. Those window switches make perfect sense. When they're on a door you hook your finger on the switch and pull up to roll the window up. You push down to roll it down. This is the same movement, just rotated 45 degrees and installed on the dash. Pull to roll up. Push to roll down.
Ok Doug…..here is the best Lamborghini story ever. About a year ago I visited a Lamborghini dealer and actually test drove a Hurrican. About 2 minutes into the test drive the car literally broke down about a mile from the dealership in the middle of a busy intersection. The car salesman and I stood there like two idiots waiting for a tow from the dealership and a ride back. While we were waiting a car with a teenager driving pulled up….rolled his window down and shouted at us “you should have bought a Toyota”. I never felt like a bigger fool in my life watching the cars go by with everyone laughing at us. I ended up buying a Toyota pickup truck and since that day was really never really “into” cars again. Story is 100% true.
Great video Doug as always. Nice review! I know firsthand this is one amazing car! So, last year, I gifted my gorgeous wife for our 40th wedding anniversary a 2023 Lamborghini Huracan STO. It took over a year to plan this surprise. Four months to finalize the design, 9 months to delivery. She didn’t see this coming, as she was already driving her 2022 C8 Corvette, which she loves. For transparency I am a private car collector. Started small scale in 1978. Today it has evolved into a large scale operation. So, I used this to stage the surprise at the Lambo dealership. They have an amazing staff who really worked it all out. The plan was executed perfectly! She just thought I had an interest in another acquisition. I convinced her to tag along, and we would have dinner afterward at our favorite restaurant. So, when it was time the salesman walked over to her and handed her the remotes, she had a look of bewilderment. She looked at me, and I shook my head, saying "yes it is yours!" You had to hear her shout out."You have to be kidding me." I said not at all. When we sat in it, she asked, "Why did I do this?" I replied, "Simply because I really like you." So, my beautiful Italian wife and the mother of our seven 7 amazing kids with 5 priceless grandchildren is now driving a Lambo. My wife is faithful, loving, caring, and supportive from day one! I also have to tolerate that she is also dead drop gorgeous. She looks 20 years younger than her actual age. No matter where she goes, heads turn. She is absolutely stunning. Though she doesn’t appreciate the attention she gets. She has always said to me it is uncomfortable. She is HUMBLE as they come! I also apologized to her in advance telling her that this car may bring additional attention to her. She gave me that oh please look with a tilted head! What a burden I must carry. 😊😊😊
From what i've heard, the roofscoop is compleatly non functional and only there so Lamborghini can homologate it for GT Racing Edit: You can also see it in the video, that it goes nowhere i the engine bay
This car has so many things I love. Roof scoop, shark fins, absurd wings, screaming V10...this is a brilliant car. I'm glad Lambo isn't afraid to let Huracan be what Aventador can't.
Doug now owns his dream car (and everybody’s dream car in fact). This is a change, an important one, because now when he reviews an extreme Lamborghini, as he did there, we can’t say he’ll over review it. Ok he’s been a ford gt owner for a few years, but now he plays in another playground. So, we definitely can trust this guy when he says the Huracan STO is unbelievably fast and tossable :)
On the hood and front-quarters aren't inlets - but outlets. First are for relieving frontal drag, the latter are for over-tyre high pressure buildup-relief (vide Mercedes CLR backflip at Le Mans).
Doug I feel like you have a little extra skip in your step in your videos recently. It's so awesome to see a guy work so hard for so long and be rewarded for that hard work. Bravo.
The window toggle switch is actually in correct movement with the window; you press for window down and you pull up for window up. It’s NOT backwards as you mentioned.
He always comes up with dramatic ways of spinning things. Calls their fun Italian word for the front truck "made up" when it could be seen as "internal," acts like he's never seen a blank switch or a fabric door pull before, makes a weirdly big deal about gold leather, sort of implies no other Huracan is available in RWD. Any time I actually see a car he reviewed in person I realize his bizzare mischaracterizations.
I think there is something about all the crazy angles that make that color work so well. That matte finish blows away a shiny finish, especially in that dark goldish color.
A rush of adrenaline, a sense of thrill, As he speeds down the road, faster still, For any other driver, there's no holding back, He'll push his car until it's about to crack. For this video, just cringe and shrug After all, this car is "driven" around by Doug Handling Score - dont know Acceleration - dont know Fun Factor - don't know 🤣😂🙂🙃🤣😆
You’d have to be blind and deaf not to see and hear why this costs nearly three times as much as a C8 Z06 Corvette! And the C8 Z06 is a great car and excellent deal but THIS Lambo is pure style perfection and an UNREAL adrenaline rush!
Doug the type of (rich)guy to drive a Huracan with one hand on an interstate 😂 This car would definitely be a rich kid’s 2019 Civic Type R. Aggressively over styled but I love it.
14:26 "Start Stop Lid" I assume the reason they have both a flip up button cover and the hold in the cover is to account for people wearing gloves. If you're in a full fireproof race suit you probably can't get your finger through the hole, so it flips up to accommodate people in protective gear.
Doug, you sure need to do a full garage update- parking and maintenance costs and all. Especially with the new Porsche.

Yea this guys fried str8 outta the frying pan
That is an amazing color! Wish we could see normal cars with similar options instead of white, black and silver!
I think there is something about all the crazy angles that make that color work so well. That matte finish blows away a shiny finish, especially in that dark goldish color.
This has to be my favorite Lambo. It looks like they took the Veneno and threw it on the back of the Huracan and it looks absolutely insane!
I'm impressed , you are very well prepared , and thats right here in San't Agata Bolognese Italy they called it " Cofango " .
It looks awsome!
The Huracán lineup is insane
Nice compartment in the front for my weed
A rush of adrenaline, a sense of thrill,
As he speeds down the road, faster still,
For any other driver, there's no holding back,
He'll push his car until it's about to crack.
For this video, just cringe and shrug
After all, this car is "driven" around by Doug
Handling Score - dont know
Acceleration - dont know
Fun Factor - don't know
🤣😂🙂🙃🤣😆
He gave the score at 21:20. Handling is 10, acceleration is 10, fun factor is 10.
You’d have to be blind and deaf not to see and hear why this costs nearly three times as much as a C8 Z06 Corvette! And the C8 Z06 is a great car and excellent deal but THIS Lambo is pure style perfection and an UNREAL adrenaline rush!
enjoying these lamborghinis before they go electric 😔
Looks like a giant stink bug on wheels.
They look so damn gooooood in stealthy colours, i want to punch a wall!
Doug the type of (rich)guy to drive a Huracan with one hand on an interstate 😂
This car would definitely be a rich kid’s 2019 Civic Type R. Aggressively over styled but I love it.
Now I keep expecting him to say at the beginning: “This is _MY_ Lamborghini Huracán STO…”
This particular Huracan is my favorite Huracan spec by a mile followed by the Evo black on black
14:26 "Start Stop Lid"
I assume the reason they have both a flip up button cover and the hold in the cover is to account for people wearing gloves. If you're in a full fireproof race suit you probably can't get your finger through the hole, so it flips up to accommodate people in protective gear.
That Is Nuts
I just fell in love all over again. Thanks Lamborghini!
Doug I’m actually ordering one from Ogara in La Jolla and they informed me that it doesn’t have rear wheel steering as you stated 8:20
So Would you pick the Senna or the STO?
