They are quite something in person, no plastic visible anywhere. Also, they are very small, I'd say roughly like a Miata but wider, and they sound great in person, not annoyingly loud but you definitely hear it, in presence it's like a fancy high end swiss watch. But they are quite rare, I live in the Netherlands, home country of them, and I've only seen less than 10 of them, only one up close.

Their motto, "For the tenacious no road is impassable" stems from the 1920s, (1914 to be exact) when endurance racing was something quite different from what it is in modern times. With that context, it makes a lot more sense. The original Spyker company build the Spyker 60 HP race car in 1904. It had many firsts: The first ever 6-cylinder, the first front-engine 4WD lay-out and the first with 4-wheel brakes. They also competed in the Paris to Peking endurance races. That's 9300 miles, or nearly 15000 km.

Even more so look at the auction listing, It literally says "June 2022: Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, idler pulley, spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, camshaft seals, and serpentine belt replaced, engine oil and filter changed, brake fluid flushed, transmission fluid flushed, coolant flushed, engine air filter replaced, throttle body cleaned, A/C compressor replaced, rear lid struts replaced, door hinges/pivots adjusted, shifter mechanism adjusted, reverse lockout point set, set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S installed"

Spyker are the kind of small, artisanal manufacturer who are prepared to think outside the box. This is the kind of pedigree you need.
