My company makes the carbon fiber body panels for the Classic, 2 things: 1) it's still in production (though winding down and surely all spoken for) and 2) not sure about the DLS but the center fill fuel cap is an option on the Classic, we make different parts based on a center fill vs side fill configuration.

There's a lot I don't like on the DLS: the ducktail, the (stuck-on looking) arches (fenders in US, I think?), the rear lights, the black bits on the exterior... and I think the interior is overdone. But this is so much more desirable than your average 'hypercar' (GMA T50 aside).

I had a '73 911S back in 1978.(I was young,25) It was a factory wide body/wheels and the engine was tweaked as it had an 8200 redline. No ac, but it did have a sunroof. The car was light, very loud, it was quick! I loved that car. Real love! Silver, red leather. Besides it's amazing suspension(not for comfort)and rev happy engine..the smell of the leather could only be found in 1970-'73 Porsches. Many times I would wake up in the middle of the night, go into the garrage, and just sit there, close the door. It was heavenly! I appreciate the effort to create this Singer, what it can do, the dedication to go this far. If he had only found some old seats!

A friend of mine paid 2.4 for his DLS. Can’t begin to describe how well finished the car is. Everything, literally everything (nuts, bolts, washers, etc) is very very important and very well finished.
It was like looking at a new car that’s based on an older one, like Porsche re-imagined the 964 with one last hurrah.
I’ve spent countless hours around the DLS, the longer you spend looking at it, the more little details you notice, the LED front and rear lights that are so well made, you’d think it was made buy Porsche themselves.
Changing the gear felt like using a bolt action rifle, it only goes certain ways, so hard to explain, but I still remember the feel of it so clearly.
Other things to add, the car comes with a roll cage built into the A and C Pillars. FIA Approved, you can literally race the car from the moment you get to the track.
Oh, and the engine, my god is that a piece of perfection.
Being passenger, you’re met with all these whining noises and a firm suspension set up, you immediately understand the car will handle amazingly round some medium speed tracks, but the engine felt tame in its comfort mode, the moment the engine goes into its sport mode, the engines spins up so fast you’re lead to believe you’ve got a GT3RS engine in the thing, what old engine in an old car spins up that quickly?
Once the engine is in track mode, it was the most electric car I’ve been in, 9,000 rpm redline screaming in your ear, the traction fully off it becomes a handful.
You need serious testicles to want to tame the DLS, you average driver can’t cut it, you have to be at one with the throttle, the weight transfer, knowing when to change gears for optimal acceleration.
I may never get a DLS, but god knows what that DLS done to me.
