    Last day of summer already. Jackets, beanies and monster shoes all day here now. Cool to see your progression into a different style. Enjoying the watch

      Thanks bro! I wasn’t sure if my current audience would like the switch in style, but I gotta try new things or I get bored! Thanks for the support as always mate 🙏🏻

    Agreed on the single idea per photo walk. that restriction works imo much better than having the world as your oyster

    What a bright lovely day!! 0:22 - loved looking at all the shots, I think 2:45 was my favourite!

    Last time I was out on the street with the camera, I caught a portrait photo shoot from across the street.

    I think the photo with the couple at the "cutout characters board" (I don't know what's the name of that thing ahah) was really funny!
    I should say that my favorite was at 10:52!

      Thank you so much man! I’m trying to find more funny moment to capture in my street photography without being exploitative, so glad you enjoyed that one 🙏🏻

    Interesting your comment about finding it difficult to get photos on Brighton Palace Pier. I’m shooting street photos in Brighton every other weekend and have always found the pier to be really challenging to get anything decent.

    • @timjamiesonphotos
      @timjamiesonphotos  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! Yeah for sure, I think just pier shots in general are so cliche, it’s hard to get anything original or engaging imo even though there is usually so much activity, always worth trying though!

    At 7.01 you said there wasn't much going on in the shot but on the far left there is a couple taking a selfie and it looks to me like the seagull was flying in to pose thinking they were shooting him 😂. I also liked the layering in the shot at 8.02. Great video again which I can relate to as I live in Hastings 😃

      Thank you, Tony! I appreciate that mate. I’m perhaps a little overly critical of my work sometimes, but it’s only cos I want to keep getting better!

    Nice video 👍 . Just got my first camera (R10), and I'm taking inspiration 🙌
    it would be good to have the settings used up with each picture.

      Thanks! On a sunny day my settings are pretty much the same for each photo: manual mode, f8-f16, 125-250sec, manual focus :). Happy shooting!

    Busy venue makes for challenging conditions. Tassel reactors a clever take. Red jacket guy w/phone a good color scheme. Were you reluctant to ask the pigeon guy about taking the shot face on? Top down perspective shot a plus. Do you use continuous or single shutter mode for these images? Cheers!

    • @timjamiesonphotos
      @timjamiesonphotos  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Paul! Nah, I don’t like asking people for shots, and I would have taken his shot front on but the light was terrible as he was in the shade. I always use single shutter mode :)

    Was this mid September? I think we had a brief chat about photography. Sorry if i interrupted your filming!

      Hey Sean! Yeah it was, I remember you. Sorry I didn’t stick around for a chat, I saw that character and really wanted a photo haha 🙏🏻

    given the phone has a red vibe to it, i think cropping in on just the guy and red as background might work better than the current crop/angle? and parallel to the bloke would probably also improve the shot ?
