It’s a great airline! Have traveled with them 4 times. Premium Economy, is the best value for money in the industry. Always on time, great service. Recommended.
Those low fare airlines are for younger people that'sin good shape and deal with the stress, after i reached 55,traveling in economy on anything over 4 hours, was over for me...i do travel 4-6 times a year and 3 of those flights are over 10 hours,so it's Business class for me..I have bad circulation, knee and back problems..and i love comfort...
Norse is one of my favorite airlines! The seats are comfortable, the planes are new, the legroom is the same as any other airline (including legacy carriers). The only difference is you don't get a meal, but I'm happy to pay $20 onboard if it means I save $400 (!) compared to other carriers who offer 'free' meals.
Thanks for the video. And awesome airfares! I would pay for the upgrade to premium seats (much better seats) if a full flight. However on an eight hour flight from Miami to Berlin I seriously doubt the plane will be half full this time of year. There's a good chance to move to a completely empty set of seats and lay down for the entire flight, I've done it many time. Just make sure to talk with flight attendants what you want to do they like to be in control.
Flew Norse Atlantic from JFK Terminal 7 to London Gatwick on Friday November 3rd 2023. Booked my self and son via the web. Bought the add on of lounge access before my flight, not cheap. Delighted to discover that the Terminal 7 airport lounge does NOT accept bookings from Norse and you have to pay $65 at the door to access the lounge. I complained to the gate staff, and they knew about this. So delighted to have been defrauded by Norse Atlantic Airways taking cash from me to book something their staff knew was impossible. From what the airport lounge staff said, this is a regular occurance. So I'm spreading the love by leaving this comment in as many Norse videos that I can find.
Oh no! I didn't know there was a lounge access add on, I don't think that is an option out of LAX. I would be pretty disappointed to be charged $65 at the lounge.
😮😮 that’s awful, they have it listed as more expensive than the lounge prices for my flights coming up so i went directly through the lounge/airport sites, hopefully that avoids the issue, that’s so scammy
@@RnRquicktrips I know what you mean,we did get lucky a few times, just last month flying from MCO to Nassau...we both had 3 seats on both sides to ourselves, but on the return flight was full to the max...
Being from Oslo I initally considered booking their route from Oslo to Bangkok but they became more exspensive than Emirates. So thankful I did not fly with them seeing your review.
I flew Norse from Miami to London, and Oslo back to Miami. The seats were comfortable, and the entertainment was decent. You definitely don’t want the meals. They charge $30 for disgusting microwave meals that were very small, and could likely have been bought in a dollar store. I use to advise using foreign carriers for better food. Not anymore. Bring your own food. Otherwise, not bad for a budget airline.
Agreed! We were thrilled to get to Oslo for a low price, but we brought our own food. There were several passengers onboard grumbling about the cost and taste of the meal served.
Never Again with Norse!!!! JFK via London Gatwick: -When you get to the JFK Norse Airways counter they make you fit your bag in a small container and it barely fits because of your suitcase wheels. Sorry that will cost you $140 now. If you break the wheels of the suitcase then it fits. What a scam they running. -Each Suitcase costs $140 if you check it in under the plane. -Carry On is $85 -Charging port is hidden under seat, and the power cuts off every 25 min -You can't fit a medium size laptop on your folding table, the seat is not stretch out enough, a tablet is preferred. Bad Boeing 787 design. -They won't even come up to your seat and ask you if you want something to drink without paying for it first on the seat screen. -You have to pre-pay for your seats -They finally gave us water in a cup and tasted like Chlorine, nasty taste.
Oh no! They are strict on the carryon, we were fortunate that ours fit. We ordered nothing (not even water) on our flight. You get what you pay for, we were happy to get to and from Norway with the fare.
We did not pay to sit together. We gambled by not paying for seats and asking to be seated together at check in. The flight was not full so they were able to seat us next to each other.
I find it it interesting that this flight is NOT actually Los Angeles to Oslo! It is actually Los Angeles (or El Segundo - as the airport is between LA and El Segundo) to Gardermoen, Norway (Oslo Airport is actually in Gardermoen).
Would you say it's enough leg room for a 6'3 person? I flew frenchbee once and it was the worst 8 hours of my life, not nearly enough space even for anyone 6'0 and above
It would definitely be a tight squeeze. The legroom is the same as most economy seats (think American/United), so not as tight as French Bee. Take a look at the premium economy prices, those seats have lots of legroom.
At the ticket counter the agent asks to see any personal items and carryon, checks the size and anything questionable will have them placed in the bin to check the size. We had no issues with our bags, but I did see other passengers arguing with agents over carryon bags. The Oslo ticket counter was more strict than the LAX counter.
Well...as much as you can sleep on any economy flight, the comfort level and leg room are the same as most carriers. We managed to get in a few hours sleep. Have fun in Paris!
hi how was norse atlantic airways from one to ten on customer service and seat comfort? So you get no meals on the plane. Are they strict with the personal item size?
I would give it a 7, but the cheap price bumps ot up to an 8. The customer service is average, seat comfort is the same as any other economy flight. The are strict with personal item size out of Oslo, not as much out of LAX.
This is the worst airline i have ever flown. Many people have had nightmare experiences. Theres a facebook group with 3k followers and they all have horror stories.
I won’t be flying this airline. My opinion is JetBlue is much better than Norse Atlantic airways. Then I think JetBlue mint is better than American Airlines my opinion.
Thanks for posting. Just booked London to Orlando and went with economy after watching your video and saved 300 bucks.
Good for you! have a great trip (and bring your own snacks)!
THANK YOU! this airline came up as an options for our trip to Paris direct from LAX. Never heard of this airline but looks good!
You are welcome, have a great trip!

We both just turned 60 and we will fly the low budgets to get the good price, but I will admit it takes a little bit out of us.

We opted to bring our own food and snacks. For the price, we think Norse is a great deal.

Did they refund that add on at least?
I flew on Norse 12/2022 in premium from jfk-lgw. $381 with 2 meals .
Hi, regards to the window dimmer they take a couple of minutes to dim!
Thanks, I kinda thought I was doing something wrong!
As a cpl on short flights we always book aisle seats across from each other,we can still converse ...any flights over 4 hours,we fly FC/BC...
We sometimes do aisle seats across from each other as well, but there is nothing better than getting two cheap seats with the middle seat open!

When you porches ticket you pay the seats too any airlines
You can purchase seats on some other airlines through Norse. is that what you are asking?
I find it it interesting that this flight is NOT actually Los Angeles to Oslo! It is actually Los Angeles (or El Segundo - as the airport is between LA and El Segundo) to Gardermoen, Norway (Oslo Airport is actually in Gardermoen).
True!
El Segundo is in LA. It's one of eighty eight cities in the LA County.
I love Norse. Premium economy is 100 percent worth it. The food is hit or miss, so bring a sandwich. It’s my #1 choice for a good flight to Europe.
I agree. The food is not worth the price but the flight is worth the price!
Hello ! do they mesure the underseat bags?
They don't measure, but departing from Oslo they had everyone put their carryon in the sizer.
Would you say it's enough leg room for a 6'3 person? I flew frenchbee once and it was the worst 8 hours of my life, not nearly enough space even for anyone 6'0 and above

«How bad is it»? Weird start. How bad, and expensive, are Delta, United or American?
DL, UA and AA are pricier enough to make Norse worth it. But I miss getting a meal served.
Taking Norse from JFK to Paris...is is possible to sleep in economy?

Booked a flight and then discovered can't fly due to medical problems. No refund!!!!!! Be careful.
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. That is a downside to booking low cost carriers.
Get the flex ticket or travel insurance…
If everyone were able to cancel at the last minute due to “Medical Problems” that airline would just go bust
Did purchase insurance but they kept almost $500.00 of total we paid for two of us.
You should have bought the proper ticket then
Most credit cards include free trip interruption insurance for non-preexisting medical problems. Probably too late now but just letting you know
The more I see and read about Norse the more I'm put off!
It worked well for us, but it's not for everyone.
Unbelievable, the type of underhanded trick to get no one next to you, the type of passengers I would dread sitting next to.
I don't think it's underhanded at all, I'm sorry you think so.
It's a common practice.
This isn't underhanded it's just strategic. This is very innocent and takes advantage of no one.
lost me at 1 minute in.. Over an hour check in line F that
Yes, that sucked. But that was the worst part of the trip.
This is the worst airline i have ever flown. Many people have had nightmare experiences. Theres a facebook group with 3k followers and they all have horror stories.

JetBlue is definitely the best of the budget airlines. But I can't resist Norse Air's cheap fare!
Jetblue can’t even compare. Norse flies modern widebody Dreamliners. Jetblue only small, narrowbody on longhaul.
True, Norse is very comfortable. I do love JetBlue service and snacks though.@@AAngerJ
JetBlue expensive for low cost flight
Want a row to yourself, then book 3 seats, if I'd have been passenger in middle that's where I would have sat
Yes, this travel "hack" hasn't worked well for us as most flights are full.
