The seats look really good for a 9-abreast Dreamliner. They look like they've got a lot more padding than many other airline seats and I dunno if it's just me, but they look a little wider than the standard 787 3-3-3 economy seats
Thank you for this review video DJ. You should keep making more reviews, they're very enjoyable to watch and I can see myself going through your flight without having such high expectations like I would with other reviews who always seem to focus on what is lacking rather than fully enjoying the experience. I find your reviews to be more honest and realistic which is definitely something to appreciate. All the best and keep up the good work.
This is such a great review. My first time on your channel and will definitely come back for more. Everything was so positive even if something wasn't as good as you would have expected.
Being a Norse Atlantic fan (and a Norwegian) i am realy happy you liked the experience. I like to travel but not to spend a lot of money on it. How ever i could pay for extra service if it is value for money. We tryed the Ineaugaral flight from Oslo to Fort Lauderdale on 18 of june last year. 4 days after thei inaugural flight to JFK. We where 8 nights in Florida before we returned. It was a realy nice and unforgetable experience. Water salute from the fire trucks when arriving in FLL, as the first sheduled flight from Europe in more than 2 years. Champagne and cake before landing, croisants, paine Chocolat or bunns and cider before departure. And when we returned to Oslo whe tryed Premium Economy. It was realy nice. Al at a very good price. us$1350 for 2 persones. We enjoyed our flights so much we made a new trip with Norse to FLL in January. However we continued on to Equador. For that we payed $1750 for a roundtrip for 2 in Premium. Oslo-FLL-Oslo. In the upcoming winter i hope to fly with them again, may bee from Oslo to Bangkok, as a start of a south east Asia roundtrip. I am glad you enjoyed the food. it is not, as you said, a restaurant meal, but it is Ok. The bagels whe where served in premium, in june last year, before ariving in Oslo, are the best bagels i have ever tasted.
How did premium economy seats compare to economy? We flew Oslo - FLL when these aircraft were owned by Norwegian, arguably the most uncomfortable flight I’ve ever been on. Return flight was even worse as that was overnight.
Thank you for taking the time to prepare this flight review. Travellers always appreciated learning more about the aircraft in which they will be flying. You spend the first 7 minutes of the review describing the airport. This is interesting for some, perhaps, but you go quite off topic in your descriptions of items totally unrelated to the plane itself. I really wanted to learn about the plane. Some things you may consider adding for future reviews include: description of overhead compartment storage, washroom facilities, more detailed comparison of premium versus regular economy seats, showing us how the window blinds open and close (you mention a switch but never show us how it works), more feedback about the lighting and air circulation in the Boeing 787 (i understand these are unique features of this plane), access for handicapped travellers, safety features of the plane.... What do the different sections of the plane look like? You show a small section but it would be nice to have a walkthrough the entire plane to get a good idea of what the seating is like. In short, for travellers unfamiliar with the plane, we really need more specific details than you provide in this review. You have provided a few interesting details which I appreciate but perhaps you could consider some of the items I've suggested for future reviews.Thank you again.
Thanks for the video. And awesome airfares! I would pay for the upgrade to premium seats (much better seats) if a full flight. However on an eight hour flight from Miami to Berlin I seriously doubt the plane will be half full this time of year. There's a good chance to move to a completely empty set of seats and lay down for the entire flight, I've done it many time. Just make sure to talk with flight attendants what you want to do they like to be in control.
Yes, it's good to see you out and about instead of behind a keyboard. I will definitely watch your next video, hoping Delta takes care of you properly.
Wonderful flight view. It really makes me want to fly on their 787s. Idk why Norse isn't operating out of Dublin yet as they do have slots for it. They were supposed to fly out in December 2022 but that never happened. I really hope they do flights in the future. Maybe to LAX and/or JFK.
In comparison to both old buildings of TXL and SXF this new terminal building is nice but if you compare it with other modern airport it’s just a very ordinary and not that comfortable, especially if you think that it the only airport of the major EU country. The connection to city is disastrous as well. We will always miss the TXL airport
There is this conspiracy that Norse is just a temporary/project airline for Norwegian Air Shuttle. I flew with them this summer and the whole product feels so unfinished. Same cabin as Norwegian, no safety video, same blankets, same service and basically the same movies as norwegian had on their IFE. Norse is just a temporary airline to keep on to the old Norwegian routes and airplanes untill they can buy it all back. Wheter it’s true or not i dont know, but I find it a interesting theory. Now that Norwegian has bought Widerøe, it could be a natural step to aquire Norse Atlantic.

hi how was norse atlantic airways from one to ten on customer service and seat comfort? So you get no meals on the plane. Are they strict with the personal item size?
WOW, have really enjoyed this video! got me in the mood to go up to the airport and travel, 😂 Enjoyed your BER part immensly, have to admit, I had a different opinion about BER! Again, thanks for this video, for sure it is going to be one of my favourites out there🤩😎
personal air vents on a euro carrier? and a low cost one at that. does norse flight crew lock the windows closed like most flight crews? i love norse's livery and after this review i will start looking at them.
i have been looking to fly norse to cape town. prices very attractive but then went and looked at reviews. The airline has appalling reviews on many review sites. There were a couple of 5 star reviews but 5star on 22% and 1star in 68%, tells me to go elsewhere.
@@GlobeTrottingAtDjsAviation Interesting, you are the next person from abroad in a row who reports a good experience. This is in stark contrast to DB's reputation in Germany. The reliability and customer experience of rail services has been deteriorating for several years. But perhaps it's also the German mindset, people always complaining.
I mistakingly flow Norse once No check in baggage was allowed. They didn't even ask for a small bottle of water on a transatlantic flight. No head phones provided. They even asked me to put my backpack in a measuring box to charge me more. Worst of all, it wasn't a cheap ticket at all.
It’s a great airline. Have traveled on Premium Economy a few times. It’s the best value for money I’ve ever experienced. Great service, great Dreamliner, on time, at all occassion.
The only shame is that Norse just cancelled this route, and I was rather hoping to try it to visit Berlin, my favorite city in the world, for Christmas this year and try this route, oh well back to United I guess.
You stated that legroom was more than adequate given it was hundreds and hundreds of dollars cheaper. Going forward, can you state how tall you are using both meters and feet/inches? I'm 6'4 (1.93 meters) and legroom...... to the centimeter.....is FUNDAMENTAL. So please don't make a blanket statement like that without all info so that people like me can make an informed decision. Thank you!
Very nice video. I love the Dreamliner. You get less jet lagged, less dehydrated, and it’s quiet. - But the airline’s name is Norse Atlantic, not Nothh.😄
Flew Norse Atlantic from JFK Terminal 7 to London Gatwick on Friday November 3rd 2023. Booked my self and son via the web. Bought the add on of lounge access before my flight, not cheap. Delighted to discover that the Terminal 7 airport lounge does NOT accept bookings from Norse and you have to pay $65 at the door to access the lounge. I complained to the gate staff, and they knew about this. So delighted to have been defrauded by Norse Atlantic Airways taking cash from me to book something their staff knew was impossible. From what the airport lounge staff said, this is a regular occurance. So I'm spreading the love by leaving this comment in as many Norse videos that I can find.
booked flights months ago with another family bc this will probably be his last trip and Norse just put us on another flight on another day- didn't even ask! We have to travel across the world to get home !!! I am so disappointed, our first time flying Norse and our last! This is horrible, you have now split up families and causing a lot of grief!! ultra low cost on international long haul is pushing it a bit too far . . . the whole low cost thing on international long haul needs to be regulated or else full service carriers will go bust . . . for e.g. ultra low cost airlines cannot operate on long haul routes with a flight duration of more than 3½ - 4 hours . . . and no more than 3½ hours on pacific routes . . . low cost budget airlines will be limited to serving secondary international long haul routes only . . . ultra low cost carriers cannot operate on prime routes like London (LHR) - New York (JFK) non-stop & Mumbai (BOM) - Amsterdam (AMS) non-stop . . .
