The FL forks, fat front tire and the paint on the Slim makes it resemble an old EL Knuckle head. Especially with those polished M8 rocker box tops. I’m getting a slim because although I absolutely love the Street Bob, I like the styling queues of the slim.
Love the billard blue on your slim. Arrowhead is legit cool guys and dealership. Next door Bubba’s 33 has pretty amazing burger and pizza. chandler HD is a sister dealer, and we lived close to chandler and they hooked it up on a new 2018 FXBB/2018 FLSL for us. Congrats on the slim. Im a taller guy so i like sitting further back on the seat. But same story with me flying off my FLSL slim stock seat when i punch it. I went full exhaust on my slim, vance hines staggered short shots, fuelpak fp3 and Arlen ness big sucker intake and I absolutely love it! The fuelpak just is ABSOLUTE gold on all harleys but shines on the m8 On our street bob FXBB we got free vance hines twin slash 3” slip ons which ran perfectly fine with the stock tune but there was some power loss up top. We got a fuelpak fp3 and it solved all our power losses and made the bike run so much better. Increased MPG as well. We also did arlen ness intake on the street bob. Didnt have to do intake, but it breathes way better with it, more power and we had the tuner so why not To those worried about warranty issues we never had one problem with warranty on either bike. Great vids keep it up! U guys are inspiring us to do a channel of our own soon
Ya, I rode dirt bikes as a kid and I owned a bunch of sport bikes, I had a 200hp BMW s1000rr that is easily one of the fastest sport bikes you can buy. Harleys are much different and the torque is unreal, especially with this new M8 engine, but for a newer rider the torque on a Street Bob will freak them out if they aren’t ready for it. The torque is brutal and it feels like the hand of god pushing you down the street. I love my Street Bob and I will be getting some Rampage slip ons and a sissy bar from Dean Speed! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼

good call on the street bob seat I just bought one used and it is way better than the slim seat and even the HD brawler i bought. the Brawler is roomy but hard as a rock after 30 minutes.

Being a sport bike rider, ur gonna love the M8. Although it has a shorter rpm range, its playground is in the higher ones, and it love the decel rev matching. Also, u dont have to slow shift, it takes kindly to shifting quickly. Enjoy!

With the stock seat we ran a 3 inch Dean-speed Customs tank lift. Now that the street bob has a saddleman seat, the profile will look better with a 2", which we plan to do soon.
@@aztriumphster the Street Bob seat I bought had the tounge to short and some pronged rubber cushions that are in the way but going to just cut them with a multi tool and attach a longer mending plate to reach the insert
Nice bike! I almost got the same, but went with the industrial gray instead. On the left side of the bike, did you remove the lower black cap to install your passenger pegs? I was debating a full system V&H big shots, but that appears to interfere with the right passenger peg mounting point.
I had to remove a small black plastic plug on either side of the bike in order to install the passenger pegs. Heads up, those plugs are actually threaded, so once u can get a hold of an edge of the plug, lefty loosy em until they thread out. Dean Speed Customs has a 2 into 1 full system in development for the softail models called the BZKR. U can check it out on the website on the Scout and the Bolt and see if u like the style. It will not conflict with passenger peg mounting.
I ride around the beautiful Island of Cyprus on a Harley Davidson Rocker C and a Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle and video my rides! before I bought my Rocker C I was always looking at the Softail Slim as a next bike but after sitting on a Milwaukee eight Harley Davidson Breakout I was surprised how big the engine casings were and air cleaner box while sitting on the bike with the forward controls! I am the same height as yourself, but you seem not to have a problem like this with the Softail Slim? Maybe you have explained this in a previous video? I have Subscribed and will watch more of your videos on the Softail Slim as a milwaukee eight is next on my list of bikes to buy and ride around the beautiful Island of Cyprus with the HOG Cyprus Chapter 9162 ! I fit damn near perdectly on the new slim. I attribute this to 2 main things: 1, the boards maybe be forward but because they are boards, i have many choices on comfortable foot placement. 2, i swapped the stock seat out for a street bob seat, pushing me a bit closer to the boards, bars and controls. Ive done quite a few videos talking about fitment and ergos. Browse my channel and see if i can answer any questions u might have.
AZ Triumphster does the Slim have a full stage 1 exhaust system or just Slip ons? If I buy the slim today I’m trying to make my mind up to spend that extra cash for a full system or just add slip ons?
@@JustAnotherReviewwithAlek if u do the full system, ur gonna need a tuner with wideband o2 sensors, and ull need to make sure the full system accepts 18mm o2 sensors. Also, ull want an air cleaner.

Would be good to know over a period of time, if you can notice any performance or fuel consumption difference. Or maybe because it’s slip on, there is none. Planning on getting the same slip on for my bike. I listened to the Facebook video on Anthony’s streetbob, some how it sounds “thinner” than your slim. Am I hearing it right? Or is it because of the sound recording quality that is different? Could you hear if there is a difference between your slim and Anthony’s streetbob?
My mufflers and Anthony's are identical with 1 exception, his are ceramic coated. I do hear a very minor difference betweeen the 2, which could be attributed by the coating. Also, the videos were done on 2 different phons and Anthony's video was done in an open parking lot while mine was done in a neighborhood with many objects for the sound to bounce off of. Hope this helps.
@@joshfang1500 on mine and Anthony's rampage, we stole the gaskets from the stock mufflers. See Harley was awesome enough to taper the head pupe just before the muffler, so u will need gaskets. If u dont feel like pulling the stock ones out, u could order some from Harley.

Idk why but I don’t think I could spend my money on it and take up another color option. Here it is, billiard blue is gorgeous, Harley needs more gorgeous color options equal to this paint. The denims are nice options but they’re lazy. These bikes should at least come in every color of a small crayon box. Gloss.

That may be a difficult decision ha ha. The fuel capacity and sorta mid/forward controls on the slim is what sold it for me.

AZ Triumphster Some slip on videos on TH-cam suggested that gaskets are needed for the install. Does rampage come with gaskets or not required?
