Nice video, I like both bikes but do have the 21 bob, and as far as the mids go, mine drove me nuts especially with a 31" inseam. Forward controls on the bob feel much more natural, not to mention the rear braking seems a bit better.
Slim is currently my dream bike. Clean and perfect. Not a big fan of the Softtail Street Bob for some reason. Dyna just had a better look. Great bike regardless.
@@VikingWolf84 not the current Street Bob. Older one, original at that yea..And to be honest I think it the Dyna Street Bob looks way better than the Softtail Street Bob.
The slim is more stable in stopn go traffic. Ive had bikes with forward controls, the sportster 48 and the victory octane, and these are more like a mid board. I am 5'5" tall and with a stock street bob seat on my slim, i have zero issues operating the controls, and i am very comfortable.

Before I was thinking of 1200 iron, but it's not much of upgrade performance wise from my Bonnie.. My wife also rides that why asked if it's bit hard to ride slim with forward controls. I'm torn was at the dealership they had a sweet softT slim but I want a 114 so that means street Bob should I buy the slim or wait on a Bob I liked the slim but 107
Well that depends, do you want forward boards or mid pegs? Do you want 5 gallon fuel capacity or 3 gallon? Do you want a fat front tire or a skinny one?
@@aztriumphster I've had a ultra and street glide so floor boards ok I ride a XG750A now so mids ok too 3 gal on 114 could be issue I mostly do short rides front tire well I like both but lean towards the slim u like the 107 in yours
@@tangerineRIDES13 now that I have a 114 fat bob, the most noticeable difference is the fuel capacity. I recommend going with the slim and then beefing up the motor if u want more power.
@@tangerineRIDES13 the way it went down was, I had been reading and hearing alot about the '18 and '19 softails having an underperforming oil pump and that it, over the long term, causes issues, sometimes catastrophic. I had a friend of mine, whos the sales manager at a local HD dealership, verify that my Slim was built with that oil pump. I made a joke that I needed to get a '21 fat bob in order to avoid long term issues with my '19 Slim. So of course he gives me an outstanding offer on my slim and works some killer numbers on the fat bob that I ended up getting a brand new bike, the updated oil pump, a 114, inverted forks, dual front brakes, and my payment went down substantially. My insurance went down too but that I can't really explain. I miss the Slims fuel capacity, its classic styling and the color i had.
Hi, where did you purchase the vertical license plate frame? I just subscribed… I like this series because a couple days ago my husband bought me the 2019 Street Bob as an upgrade from my old sporty :D Nice to see the changes you guys made to your bikes!
Hi there, thanks for the subscription. The stock license plate bracket is actually 2 pieces, held together by one bolt. U just pull the bolt and move the piece of the plate bracket below and run the bolt thru the inner most shared hole. I wish i could figure out how to attach a picture as part of this reply. Ill be doing another couple videos over the next week so ill be sure to address ur inquiry on atleast one of them.
The tanks are interchangeable because the frame and mounting points are the same, however the gauge on the bob is on the bar clamp while the gauge on the slim is part of the tank

Did the tank lift have any effect on the gas meter or gas range calculation?

I love everything about the street bob except for that digital guage, if if had the analog guage like the slim it would be perfect.

Greetings! Initially the tank lift was a 3". The plan is to drop it to a 2" since the saddleman seat changed the lines of the bike
Can swap the tanks on them. Can you put the slim tank on the Bob bike
