Great content man, keep it up!
Thanks!
Just got my "Curse of the Crimson Throne" box set. It's SO pretty.
I didn't back that one as I still have started Rise of the Runelords. We'll start that in a couple of weeks.
@@TheSavageGoose did you enjoy Rise of the Runelords?
Does that version have the quick and cinematic feeling of Savage Worlds or do they just keep it close to the original, thus having a dungeon crawler experience with just different dice and rules?
Thanks in advance
while i love pf2 when im in a savage worlds mood this and savage rifts are amazing imho
I've been running a Savage Pathfinder game since January inspired by Matt Colville's "low level sandbox D&D" approach, using a lot of old D&D content. My players wrapped "Red Hand of Doom" a couple sessions ago. (It didn't last as long as I hoped, but I guess that's what happens when you take content written with attrition in mind, and port it to a system that doesn't do 'filler combats'.) They just put some money down on rebuilding a castle and made a deal with the last remnants of the army from "Red Hand". I think they're going to try to challenge the ruling dynasty, which since my game is set in Cheliax... We'll see how it goes!
I've been tempted to get Savage Pathfinder and convert some of SFG's Epic Encounters for it.
I will have to revisit that idea from Matt Colville.
Great overview, informative while staying quick and breezy! Are all the features mentioned in this video found in both the Pathfinder and Fantasy Companion books?
Everything except the Magic Item availability. There are similar tables for this, but nothing explicit. Which makes sense as every setting will have a different amount of Magic Items.
The rest of the features exist, though may have more or different options.
Nope dont like any of those rules so Ill just play it the way I always do. A D6 potions in a city. stupidest thing I have ever heard.
Just because there's d6 potions doesn't mean that they can afford them all. From what I can tell so far, the economy in Pathfinder besides worlds seems reasonable
