Dude get your facts straight. He was invited in by the producer, who he’s already friends with, to add live drums on top of the drum machine. He already recorded the tack with her when this was filmed. It was all explained.
I think chad smith is flexible to play on any genre and being a drummer of the band not over doing it at making his own thing very low key nice good drummer
RHCP's success was because their writing process was to improv jam for hours until something comes together. They were essentially deep learning their own songs into existence..
Probably my favorite drummer in music today. Like you said, it’s hard to gage drummers and say who is better than who especially with specific skills. But he is one of the best at transcending genres and just vibing with the beat. He also never takes himself too seriously which is something so many drummers do. It just makes him fun to watch. 🤘
Im a massive Chili Peppers fan seen them in concert 5 times and loved every single one. The world is going to be so empty whe. Chad passes or any member of the Peppers
Not the first time... He's the one playing on the actual record...
I was just going to comment this
Not his first time he played the drums on the studio mix. And he did amazing as always.
what is the purpose of a "drummer's reaction" if you don't add anything, even in the quiter parts, except grimmasses and generic 'sounds so good'
Chad played the drums for this song, this was not the first time he heart it!!!
You didn’t research this did you…?

At least change the title of the video man.
Whilst pretty basic drums... You just can't play that and be in the pocket with the same groove that Chad does easily!
🤘🏻👍🏻🐐🐐👌🏻
I'm a long time rocker, but Dua lipa is just great. the drums are kick ass!
It's an old song by INXS, "Need You Tonight" or something. Chad probably heard it before as an INXS song.
Correction he actually played that in the studio
Don't all musicians have a pretty different approach to playing their instrument?^^

Jimmy Fallon had them on for a drum off a while ago react to that was pretty funny
Such a funky groove sound with the drums!
It wasn't the first time
I think he means it's his first time listening to this, not that it was Chad Smith's first time.
No shit Sherlock!
@@aerthreepwood8021 I mean ... The "how did he do it" caption suggests otherwise.
Maybe you'd better not talking during chad plays the drum.
Rip-off from: INXS- need you tonight !!!!!!!!!!
I saw the video of Chad on TikTok, and a comment said “so Brennan DID touch Dale’s drumset…” 😂

Catholic School Girls Rule…
Stunning and funny chad ❤️
Pretty darn good drummer
Chad is one of the best on the planet
They can’t be the same person! Haven’t you seen the episode of the Tonight show with Jummy Fallon that had the drumming contest?
Your so good
That's not his first tome playing that song..he did the live drums for that song if you listen properly
This Artist has the groove!👍👍
Have you seen the drumeo video when Chad Smith talked about and played Ozzys new song, "Patient #9". Check it out.
Chad the original drummer playing the drum track recorded by himself. Not his first time though.
CLICK BAIT... He IS the drummer on the track......
Would love to see the RHCP's do a version of this song. Just imagine Flea carving it up !
who is not a RHCP fan? :/
Im a massive Chili Peppers fan seen them in concert 5 times and loved every single one. The world is going to be so empty whe. Chad passes or any member of the Peppers
Not actually his first time, he was the original drummer on the track
Chad Smith actually wrote this for Dua LIPA
Trop fastoche pour un génie tel que lui!!!!
Hate the chili peppers but love Chad and Flea's bass
Hoe can you hate the Peppers they are one of the greatest band ever
Chad does not look like Will Ferrell, Will looks like Chad!
He got the way he drums from Motown funk actually that’s why he does that stutter on the right
That’s will Ferrell
Hey maybe you can review Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now drum cover by Estepario Siberiano. Good content bro!
Chad is a legend. I loved how we got the POV of a session musician from a real pro. And he made this track so good
He actually played on the song
Sounds like a song from inxs to me... Rip off
big fan ❤
I'm starting to think this guy is clueless... his reaction to the 30 seconds to mars song was complete crap too...
This should be copyright striked.. You're not offering anything to the original video
