I seemed to have no problems getting pregnant after 40. However I went through 2 losses, 1 at 12 weeks than 5 weeks and a heartbreaking stillbirth at 26 weeks. You may need more "stuff" but it all depends on the cause. As for sleep, I would recommend not using any electronics 1.5 hours before bed and taking a warm bath or shower prior to bedtime.

I do get 7-8hrs of sleep during day time. I work overnight shift. Is this bad for egg quality?

How about women has DOR, do they need more stuff to improve egg quality? I have problem asleep any tips for women who try to get pregnant on how to fall asleep fast?
You may need more "stuff" but it all depends on the cause. As for sleep, I would recommend not using any electronics 1.5 hours before bed and taking a warm bath or shower prior to bedtime.

Hi Dr Sklar, I have been trying since January, still early but I am 40 years old and time is not on my side. I did see a gynecologist for a check up and they said everything looked fine and I am even ovulating. Is there anything more I can do to improve my chances??
OB's normally test the minimum labs needed. I think you need a more in depth look.
