I really like the way you explain things in this video that most others do not explain. Especially about the differences between analog hardware and digital plugins, and how they interact. This is a great tutorial even for other genres of music. Really great job

You should do a video on how to gain stage vocals and walk through all the gear and plugins you use to get really nice vocal recordings and the mindset to have when getting a take and mixing.
I would say as of ur question ish, u would get ur input to around -12 - -6db through ur preamp into a opto/tube compressor for flavor/warmth and do corrective EQ and u are pretty much set for for mixing out the gate, (put ur autotune/pitch correction before compression, never before ur gate/NS). u can also do corrective EQ after instead of before ur compression if u roll off low Frequences through analog gear, if u dont have analog gear i would recommend to do it in ur mix chain.
With Waves there’s a studio Rack that’s suppose to have presets all ready for you on there somewhere for your vocals just thought I would let you look into it
What’s with the TH-camrs saying you can change your voice and sound like these famous rappers with these presets I’ve actually brought some and still sound the same 🤦♂️🤣
yo my guy, great video. but as ur using FL studio in this video, is there a reason ur not running ur chain in patcher instead of directly on ur plugin slots? as ur mixing post recording the added latency from patcher would not matter? just curious

FL Studio uses stereo tracks
