Short video of me Replacing a Kia ignition lock.

Carlos from C.A.M Locksmith is replacing a Kia 2013 ignition lock that someone tried to steal and broke the ignition lock cylinder.
The owner of the car was upset when they found that they were unable to start their car because someone had broken into it, but Carlos was able to replace the lock and get them back on the road in no time!

Does it needs to be reprogrammed or can i just get one from a Junk yard with key and install it?

It doesent need to be reprogrammed because Kia and Hyundais don't have inmobilizers so you can just grab one from an junk yard and replace it. But be careful since there stealing kias out there

Just also if you want to lock and unlock the car remotely, then you'll need to reprogram it then. If you just wanna lock and unlock the car from the door, then no. Id also get the door lock replaced since the pin won't match up with the new key, but your car will start with the replacement key. Just won't lock and unlock the car
