Good video! Thanks. I'm curious what the widest angle lens is that won't see the shroud on this 24" prompter? I know most talking head uses a bigger prompter for further away (likely tighter focal length, more bokeh), but I want a large teleprompter closer in like 6 ft away because I'll sometimes put up a full computer desktop or a 4-up multiview while filming TH-cam videos.
Hi Elayne! Yes it's a bit awkward and bulky. I ended up getting some SKB 3i-2922-10BC cases to put my teleprompters in, one case per prompter and I got 3. Here's an affiliate link to the one I'm talking about amzn.to/3vOzosq
I'd go with a smaller teleprompter. If you are 10 feet away on this 24 inch prompter, you'll notice your eyes shifting line to line reading the text of the teleprompter. For 10 feet, a 15 inch prompter is probably better and more affordable.
Great question. The 19 inch prompter is best with a distance of 10-19ft from the promoter. The 24 inch is best utilized from 12-24ft. So depending on your distance, you may prefer one over the other.
great review. thank you. I'm considering the Flex version of the 24" to use with some PTZ cameras. I will be showing high detail ppt slides so imagine I don't need to worry about distance since they aren't reading side to side? Also, do you think the hood will rip with movement of a ptz?
I think they have a promoter specifically for PTZ’s called the robo PTZ. If you’re handy and don’t mind the challenge, you may want to create a custom drape or fabric to replace the fabric backing. That or a riser to get the PTZ closer to the glass.
Hello, Congratulations Cool. I am impressed. Wow 👍👏👏👏

I don’t have an exact focal length, but I’ve used a 20mm prime without issue.
How do you lug this around? It’s huge! Not very portable, is it?

@@CorporateStreams nice! That works because it has wheels. It’s out of stock via your link at the moment but hopefully they’ll be back soon.
Loving the review! Question, I'm thinking of this one for zoom gallery view, what are your thoughts on it being 10 foot away?

@@CorporateStreams do you think the zoom participants end up too small in gallery view using a 15"?
@@BiGGMiCC If you have more than 4 guests, yes. I'd say it would be hard to see more than 9 people even with the 24 inch.
@@CorporateStreams so then a 32 inch? 👀👀
Hahahaha yea I was actually thinking of making a custom one just to see if it works!
Great Stuff! Looking for this for my setup. What do you suggest between the 19 and 24?

@@CorporateStreams thanks for the tip. I'm going to purchase the Robo PTZ teleprompter for my setup.
