Jared, I had asked you about your Nystagmus before but the comment probably got lost. Thanks for sharing about your condition -- I would love to hear you speak candidly about how your condition has effected your photography. I feel like more people need to see that such hurdles are only ones of our own self-perception. I have a friend who is a great photographer and who is legally blind -- he has about 20% vision area in one eye. Keep up the good work.
the Parrot teleprompter on amazon is pretty dope. like $100 and fits into your working camera bag. hard to read if you're far away, but its perf for people on a budget who just need to read from a script and need an entry level teleprompter
Great review, dude. A 24" teleprompter is dope... especially with all those features, but the cost is a bit high. It seems like you'd have to be 30 feet away just to keep your eyes from scrolling the script with a screen that big.
24 inches is too big for a teleprompter, from my experience. The wider the prompter screen the more obvious it will be that your eyes are moving back and forth reading. I would only use one that big if you really have to be back a far distance from the prompter/camera.
Ion-SHIVs yeah luckily we can get away with it with jared's eye condition since no matter what his eyes shake. For the average person you definitely want to be back further or limit the screen size
This guy is awesome as usual. The best. I'm impressed that he shared a teleprompter review. My observation has nothing to do with Mr. Polin's eye condition but he's looking a little off axis ... camera right... his left... not dead on. I'm guessing this is from the spread of the text over 16:9?? Not sure. I'm looking for a bigger, brighter monitor but my talents eyes need to look down the barrel. Thank you

OMG. With that jacket and your hand gesture you look like our Chancellor Merkel.
