the strings are so close, I guess lyres like these must be difficult to play, I was mesmerized how you delicately pluck the strings. I play some harp which seems totally different regarding how to play. Beautiful sound, sounds almost closer to a kantele than to a harp, very heavently and bell like

I have a hard enough time pulling the bow over the violin without blending the strings. and the strings on a violin are even farther apart than the harp, i think. but im not for sure. good job!

I think it is a misnomer to call this an ancient harp (like what someone said). This is actually the opposite of an ancient harp. The notes available are not only pentatonic like in most ancient lyre harps, but in that instrument the whole chromatic notes (including the flats & sharps) looks like it's included. This is more complicated than the lever harp. What do you call that lyre harp? Is that what you call a full chromatic lyre harp?

the strings are not strung as close on the 10 or 12 string lyre, they are easy to play and if made well have beautiful tones also.
