  • The Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven arranged for Piano & Orchestra!
    This is the world premiere of the first ever known version of the Moonlight sonata for piano and symphony orchestra. While the piano part remains the same as the original, the orchestra adds colors to the overall mood, so the piece sounds even more deep, relaxing and magical. I really hope you really like and enjoy this music!

    I found this piece by accident. For about a week now, I haven't stopped listening to it. I have also heard several interpretations, but this one has something special, it makes it connect with my soul in a unique way. I am a forced migrant and my heart was scattered in various places, this music makes me connect with myself. I didn't know the performer, but one day I would like to hear him perform live, I am a Venezuelan displaced by the dictatorship, I now live in Chile.

    The most perfect melancholic song , written by a genius who was deaf at the moment but despite his hearing condition , using frequencies managed to turn music into vibration that he could detect and that is exactly why this song has this magnificent effect of purifying your soul .
    If we are advanced as a specie right now and we developed technologies and careers , cities , entertainment , arts we own that to people like Beethoven , Mozard, Vivaldi , Tsaikovski , Schubert , Chopin , Strauss , etc etc .
    Thanks to their music , our brain unlocked abilities previously unknown to us , painting , poetry , dancing all kind of talents were appearing all over the place.
    It takes intelligence to create music and takes also intelligence to appreciate music .

    This is my personal soul piece. It's the one I spent many years learning to play properly. At one stage, I could touch a little of the sublime beauty I heard in this performance. I think this is the best version I have ever heard. Seems like dramatic praise, but the sympathy of the orchestra was held in captivation by that melancholy lento of that extraordinarily expressive piano. Bravo doesn't touch my gratitude.

    I found that there are so many funny comments here, thinking that Moonlight sonata is about describing the night sky and the moon. Moonlight Sonata is actually about missing someone so badly, the desperation, the sweetness of love that still lingers, the bitterness of disappointment and then the madness caused by missing that one person so very bad. It has nothing to do with the night sky.
    Edit: whoa, thx for so many likes. I do understand that some people think that music can be freely interpreted, however in classical music, to disregard the original inspiration of the composer, IMHO is being disrespectful. Just because music doesnt have words, doesnt mean it shouldnt be understand deeply. Imagine if this Sonata is a poem that you write about your unrequited love, you poured your sadness, longing n disappointment into your poem and then some people interpret that your poem is actually about something totally unrelated which is the beauty of the moon.

    • @twinendymion947

      Yeah
      1st movement is missing someone so badly, the desperation
      2nd movement is the love that still lingers
      And the 3rd movement being the bitterness of disappointment and the madness
      The whole entire feel of the sonata

    If it is true Beethoven composed this masterpiece for a blind girl who asked him what the Moon and the night felt like, it is even more remarkable if you think he was deaf!

    Beautiful with the orchestra. This young man does a great job of making the melody under his little finger sing. I remember learning this early on and that was the thing my teacher pointed out to me to work on. When you are first learning to play, that's a bit more of a trick than first meets the eye and I was probably 10 or 11 and just starting to learn the "inside game". But it's a learning process, and this young man does it very well. The notes are the easy part, then there's the emotion that actually makes the piece what it is. Well done my friend!

    The consistency low key piano notes to show how the night skies remain dark with no
    Sunlight, only moonlight. Other high musical notes from different instruments to replicate the night vibes and sounds, weather etc. I don’t even know what I’m talking about just a straight feeling that I’m directly having with this song first time I’ve heard it in a while.

    • @rossy3lo
      @rossy3lo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This piece has nothing to do with the night sky. Moonlight sonata is a piece written about heartbreak, missing someone so badly, so painful, haunted by memories, the sweetness of love that still lingers but leads to madness and desperation because that love is out of reach. NOTHING TO DO with night sky or moon.

    Few people can understood what this pianist feels.This is very hard, and emotions are overwhelming, so is it really hart to be 100% precise.And this man is doing everything to be 100% precise! It is more than hard. Many years of hard exercise and drill.With orchestra is very diferent and must be 100%.Koncentration is on top level and you must forget where you are and just be the tool for bringing the perfection.He is on the spot. This version is slower and therefore is harder to be precise.Respect.Yes it is a pleasure.(I have learn piano also a bit and I know its harder than it seems)There are ofcourse "beether" or diferent players, but this version of sonata (with orchestra) it should be heard kind of the same like this one.Enjoy

      @sophiad.5159 7 ปีที่แล้ว +27

      I literally started bawling in the middle of the song. Cuz that's what us pianists do. We cry in the middle of songs. It's not only the precision that's important, you have to add that emotion that's needed. And when the music reaches you and gets to your emotions, you can feel it. It's like you drift from reality and you're brought to a whole new world. You feel the music ringing in your ears. Then you can see the story of the music and feel tugging in your heart, and your cheeks flush. Then the tears really start falling while you feel the music for what it is, the tempests and the drama. Sorry,I probably seem like a crazy person but that's what this music is intended to do. Whether or not you feel it is up to you.

    Moonlight sonata is known as “ quasi una fantasia “ in beethovens point of veiw and this translates to “ almost a fanatasy” which is dedicated to a 16 year old lover named Giulietta Guicciardi whom he had falled in love with. However he proposed to her but her father forbade her from marrying him because he had no “social rank” so the story is writted in c sharp minor making it a sad song to represent beethovens heart ache from losing his love
