good day to you ..YBPlaysMusic...yes DIMASH meet the pope in the company of his father at the request of the POPE FRANCIS after having watched the music video of (the story of one sky in 2022) in kazakhastan .. and he gave him a medal and named him great ambassador of peace in the world..a very touching moment on video..another little thing.....DIMASH barefoot, knowing that DIMASH does martial arts and having barefoot means that you are grounded at the land .our mother earth where you draw your energy and strength... greetings from CANADA..like your reactions and comments well done my friend...
I think some people are infatuated with life far more than others. They study it, the explore it, they treat it as a teacher. Not everyone goes through life in this way; another aspect of Dimash that makes him quite special.
I think, also, many people put him on a pedestal and we all know that when people in a position like that aren't "perfect" others become disappointed with them. They forget that he is a man and he's fallible, he is capable of mistakes, of becoming ill, of life getting in the way. I think he must fear, more than anything, letting others down. I saw a clip of him where he was too sick to perform an engagement but he so hated the idea of letting his Dears down that he still came and sang a small bit of "The Crown" for them. He was so, so sick but he did it anyway. He also performed incredibly sick on "Singer". He doesn't want to let anyone down.

Very thoughtful reaction. Yes, Dimash is very grateful to his fans, the Dears, and I am a Dear, and I can tell you, Dimash is the only artist that gives me goosebumps and chills every time I hear him sing. It doesn’t matter which song. His voice comforted me when I was going through a devastating stage of my life. I have a NEED to listen to Dimash every day. I think, from his lyrics, Dimash is afraid to disappoint his parents, teachers, his family and his fans, so that’s why he works so hard at always trying to improve himself, and keeping his private life, private. You never see him go wild and crazy like a lot of Western superstar, misbehaving, just because they can. He is kind and humble and respectful, from his traditional Kazakh upbringing. Credit to his parents and grandparents who raised him right to be such a wonderful example of a human being. ❤Love and respect for Dimash. 😊

This definitely shows some of the saddest moments of his life, the loss of his friend Dennis who was going to perform with him and he was robbed and murdered, short footage from Worlds Best . To me he doesn’t want to make mistakes that bring shame to his family, country, or fans. Now working with producers in America, such as David Foster, he wants to stay true to his values, and I believe wholeheartedly that he will. Thank you Yuri ❤.
Did you notice that the bit that showed World's Best is the part where he put the distortion into his voice and said something about not knocking me down or something similar? Coincidence? I don't know, but it was interesting to me how that bit lined up with the lyrics.

Dimash received an award in Dubai and he presented it to the grandmother that took him to music school age five. She had responsibility for Dimash for the first ten years which is the Kazakh way, apparently. Andrea Bocelli featured in that mv, I believe, and yes, Dimash’s father was with him when he was presented to the pope. Dimash is Moslem but believes everyone should work together.

One thing that really stands out to me is in the statement about the video describing Dimash as "an artist that is known today", usually when there is a compilation of a music stars career highlights the description is read or spoken as "who has become a global super star, mega star, has reached super stardom" something like that. But Dimash has himself written up in this humble way....amazing.

The writing projected onto his face must be Kazakh... { Does anyone know what it says?} The leeway for 'making mistakes' in the unrelenting glare of such a large public spotlight is exceedingly slim. Dimash carries the strength, but also the weight of Huge Expectations - from his hundreds of millions of fans, and also from his country. He is THE most prominent international representative of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh culture that there has ever been. Just pause for a moment and consider that. He is proud of his country and has done a lot via his music, to raise it's sovereign identity on the world stage. This is an honor, but also a pressure that goes far beyond 'simple' celebrity. Beyond super-stardom. This is a privileged place, it can also be a very lonely space.
I read this song as not only an expression of love and appreciation to his admirers and supporters, but also as a PLEA for something deeper.
Just as you say; with all of his talent and profile, he is also simply human, with his own set of vulnerabilities and needs and faults. Like everyone else Dimash is not perfect, and like everyone else, may mess up! May make choices that not everyone likes or understands. He is still finding his way in the world and discovering who he is as an artist, as a person. As we all do - lifelong. The use of the Hour Glass, the symbolism of time passing, the sense of time being precious, of passing quickly, and the urgency to maximise what we achieve in this brief span of years that we are granted - is very significant.
This is a reflection on his life, and a "thank you" to all the people who accompanied him and still do it, starting with his parents and grandparents, and ending with his fans.
I think Dimash always had big dreams, and when each one becomes true, a bigger one arrives. That is natural for a man whose talent and passion seems to have no limits. Now he has reached a stage where many of his wildest childhood dreams are a reality, and he is more aware of the costs and dangers of "fame and fortune". He was never moved by those, he just wanted to share his music with people and make his family and country proud of him, he had in his mind a picture of himself singing on a big stage to huge crowds, of him sharing the Qazaq culture with the world, of him bringing a moment of joy or at least relief of the daily burdens to his listeners.
He had to make a lot of choices to be where he is now (respected, loved, with a very loyal multicultural worldwide fandom, and the most important thing, creatively free! because he managed to do so, remaining an independent artist), and much more choices are ahead of him.
He has said in interviews that his biggest fear is to do something that brings sorrow or shame to his grandparents/parents/nation, and the second fear is to disappoint his fans. That he wishes that when the time of leaving the stage arrives, he can sit among the audience being able to look everyone in the eye, without regrets or having to ask for forgiveness.
And you remarked on his grandmother in the video. I remember from way back when that someone mentioned that the grandparents live in the house and it is the grandparents who actually raise the kids.
Dimash is friends with Jackie Chan. He did the title song for a Jackie Chan movie in China. He was worried about recording it because the Chinese was so rapid. The Story of One Sky was presented first to a group of religious leaders in Kazakhstan, the night before his Almaty concert. The Pope was there and gave him a medal in recognition. Most if not all reviewers gloss over the two men with him at the restaurant table in LA. They are both worth checking out on Google. On the left is Walter Afansaieff who is a writer and producer ( Mariah Carey, Josh Groban, the soundtrack for Titanic, My Heart will go on and many more) The one next to Dimash is David Foster, a giant in the music industry, writer and producer.( Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Bocelli, he has 16 Grammys at last count. Dimash is in LA and is working currently with Walter. Dimash's father has said in an interview that he has people in LA he is working with to find him and write him songs.

You presently will not see a more dedicated bond between an artist and his fans. Dimash always fears his performance will not be the best, which is what all artists feel. He doesn't have to worry about that. No matter what mistakes he were ever to make, he would never lose the love of his Dears. He is a leader to admire and an example to follow to the edge of the universe.
The scene where he was seen on top of a suv was in Belarus, where fans from Europe, Russians, Chinese, etc. were following him all the time. He was already inside his vehicle, but the fans did not let him go.

Jackie Chan was sitting at home watching the first performance of Dimash on I Am Singer.
He was enthralled and contacted Dimash the next day asking him to come visit him which Dimash did. They became fast friends and have worked together on more than one occasion.
As to the Pope, I surprised me at first since Dimash I Muslim, but then I remembered research I had done a few years back concerning the two religions.
The Pope even has a SEAT in Jerusalem which also gives him control over the Jews and Judaism as well as Islam and Christianity.
Yes, the pope gave him a token when he visited Kazakhstan.

Yuri, Dimash actually premiered The Story Of One Sky at the convention of religious leaders, you noticed during Dimash’s live performance had different video footage than the official music video, that footage was used in the presentation at that convention. I don’t know a lot about that event, but I am sure that other Dear’s can give you more accurate information.

Nel 2021 Dimash ha composto e cantato l ultima canzone di chiusura dell' ultimo film d azione di jack Chan ,ma loro si sono conosciuti durante il premio per il cinema Asia nel 2018.
Se fai attenzione nel video in cui ascolta Dimash insieme ad altri ,oltre che lo stesso autore di Autumm Strong...

Praticamente Dimash ha lasciato the best got talent perché ha poi scoperto che si doveva scontrare con dei bambini o poco piu,cosa che nella cultura kazaka non si fa....
E solo per questo e' stato ingiuriato e li hanno chiuso le porte per una apertura definitiva nella musica statunitense e mondiale a tutti i livelli...

La imágen que se ve con el Papa, fue cuando estrenó " La historia de un cielo", en Kasajistán en una cumbre de las más altas autoridades religiosas de las diferentes religiones del mundo. Luego subió el video oficial a su canal y el 23 de septiembre la cantó en vivo ensu concierto de Almaty Kasajistán. Otro momento, del video que todos los Dears recordamos, fue cuando se presentó en un concurso no recuerdo si fue EEUU o Inglaterra, los jueces lo humillaron llamándolo egocéntrico, porque decidió renunciar al concurso debido ya que en la próxima ronda debía competir con niños, algo que en su cultura no esta bien visto. I was looking around and found this little video of Dimash playing drums. He comes out on stage, first thing, he shouts out to all his 'dears' and then tells how every time he see the videos of him at a concert he keeps getting the idea that he wants to play drums for them, makes a joke with another percussion guy. The thing is, it just shows what a wonderful person he is. Makes you love him even more if that is possible. And he's speaking in English.
