vodka doesn't have a flavor, but helps to bring out the flavors in the sauce and helps bind the sauce with the half and half. The tequila will add it's own flavor, but maybe you might enjoy it?
I test an Italian Restaurant by ordering Linguini With Seafood. They have really good stuff in Hollywood/Beverly Hills but the best was from this little joint in San Francisco. It generally comes with a red sauce or fish stock/wine sauce. I hate to say it, but Chinese food is on the same level as Italian. I know, it's hard to believe.

You left the shell and tail on the shrimp. But at the end, when you eat, at 7:55, the shell is missing and you hold the tail. When did you remove the shell?

I cut the large pieces into smaller pieces and then vacuum seal them and store them in the fridge. Lasts for at least 6 months.
