I don't have excellent credit but it's good enough and the idea that ur credit has anything to do with ur car insurance is appalling and shld be challenged in a court of law. State Farm here in Michigan they wanted I pay for health coverage just exclusively applicable for the car. They said is mandatory in the state of Michigan. Is this the case? because I never experience this before.....I suspect State Farm is not competitive in the state of Michigan.
If you are in Medicare parts A and B and your deductible is lower than $5,000 you can opt out of it. Look up @valorinsure. There is a video that goes in depth on the PIP (Personal Injury Protection) on there.
IMO, I would NEVER allow a financial institution to dictate to me as to what is or is not mandatory. I would demand they show the law that says its mandatory. Consumer law is your best friend.

Could be, it all depends on the state. Just be careful with Lemonade because they have a lot of debt. That doesn’t pan well over time when it comes to stability and trustworthiness with claims.
The $1 billion includes “cash equivalent and investments” they used when they acquired metromile after they fired 20% of the employees. According to their statement release on their website their Net loss in Q4 was $63.7 million. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate them but from every move I’ve seen them make, it’s either adding a new product line or getting more investors/funding. They have a lot of customers but their per customer of $346 is more than a third of a typical company. Their loss ratio is getting better 🤞🏼, and if they can stabilize that, they might be in better position. Metromile is a good move but time will tell if they can capitalize on it.
@@ThinkInsurance sorry but I didn’t understand the point regarding per customer $346. As I thought this value is very low comparing to the average in the US market which is around $5k (you may refer to their investor day last November)
No I’m referring to the letter to their shareholders on their 4th quarter financial results they released 2/22/23. The average premium per customer is the $346 vs other companies. It’s low but makes sense because they didn’t have an auto insurance product in most of their states in 2022. Between pet and home/renters insurance, I think they do life as well, 🤷🏽♂️, they don’t get higher premiums yet. Might be a good thing since so many companies are seeing losses on the auto side more than normal
Progressive sucks. I backed into a tree and did 1,850.00 worth of damage to my van. They went up two thousand dollars a year on me and I am in my 50's with no tickets or accidents. I just got the bill in last week. I reamed my insurance agent out because I asked him beforehand if I should just pay it out of pocket & said it wouldn't be a big deal to turn it in. Going shopping for new insurance tomorrow. Sleezy company
You can fill out a quote and my guy will check for you but it’s hard with the 2 AFAs… 😬 - having 6+ occurrences may also exclude you from some companies. Probably Progressive or Erie would be a fit. Hard to say Might be time to drop the mustang and drive slower 😆- money wise. Fun wise, YOLO 😆

@@Historypointedwhat u got
Im 20 and live in Colorado Springs. The cheapest I found was $220a month on my fuly owned pontiac vibe 2005. Where should I go
American National and Farm Bureau are the two I would look into.
@@ThinkInsurance progressive quoted me for 92 a month thats good enough for me
@@pauljakepaul1985 What how. That's a great quote
I have a 2020 hyundai elantra and most insurance won’t accept my vehicle due to lots of theft claims.
I’m 18 and I recently bought a 2007 Honda civic I was wondering which insurance would be best for me.
What state are you in?
@@ThinkInsurance i live in Indiana ( ps. Thanks for replying 🙏🏻)
You’re welcome. Hastings Mutual and QBE would be two to look at. Maybe Westfield too
I can’t afford car Insuance anymore I have a 2014 Honda accord coupe and a couple speeding tickets within 5 years I’m in nj and geico is killing what can I do who can I call ??
New Jersey Manufacturers and Plymouth Rock are two companies I would look at. State Farm as a backup
Can the government not force insurance if we donate 30 more dollars per month to taxes!
Then they can get more taxes and we can get to pay zero insurance or have government auto insurance. $30 a month for most people & free for people on government assistance!
Hi, I’m 19 and I have a 2005 g35 but geico wants me to pay $3,000 every month I live in nyc, what insurance company will give me for cheaper like $500
In NY u don’t need a car unless u live out in the boondocks
damn im 19 and driving a 2010 accord, paying $250 a month. i thought that was high but you got it 😭
I’m out of Philadelphia, PA…..what insurance company would you recommend? TIA.
I would check with Travelers and Westfield. Erie as a backup
@@ThinkInsurance Thanks
What would you recommend for connecticut?
Kemper was good but their rates have climbed some. Geico and Nationwide would be two I would consider
Hey I'm a 32 year old looking to buy my first vehicle and therefore my first auto insurance to go along with it. I've had my license since I was 28 and have driven my girlfriends car since then. I'm wondering what best insurance you can suggest for me in Massachusetts? I'm trying to go as cheap as possible

What would recommend for NJ?
Yeah. I’m turning 30 next month and trying get my own insurance in New Jersey(I used to be on my dad’s when I was in Massachusetts). I do not have any accidents or records and my car is a 2013 Chevy Equinox
I got quoted 660$ for a 2018 Infiniti Q50 red sport how could I get it lower 😭😭 I’m 20 an it’s a sports car
Lmao bro… don’t drive a sports car if you can’t afford it. No need to throw you money away so young man. Save that shit and get a sports car later in life when you’re making a lot of money to afford the cost. Just get a basic vehicle cause you’re young. Insurance companies love to milk young people.
Hello, I got a ticket for not having car insurance and they told me to provide proof of insurance for at least 6 months.I am a student 19 years old and can't offer that much money for 6 months what I can do, please? I’m an international student in Arizona. I have a Mini cooper 2017
There is nothing you can do to proactively show you have had insurance for the past 6 months. Going forward, I would look at Progressive if you have an international license in AZ
Any recommendations for insurance in Texas on first time driver?
Farm Bureau and RedPoint County Mutual are two I would look into. Geico as a backup

I have 2006 dodge grand caravan and looking for the cheapest liability insurance in the state of Maryland
I am 25 and i Recently got a speeding ticket and my insurance is up what should i do
I would start by speaking with your agent and ask them if there is anything that can help. If not, the only way to get price lower is to shop. I have several videos that will help on the channel for that
2003 Lexus gs 430 Illinois main driver age over 30
Secondary driver age 33 ( new driver)
What about Michigan? Any advice on where I should start looking for a quote?
Michigan is my expertise and where my agency is. If you fill out a quote in the description, one of my team member will reach out to you.
If you want to just learn more, go to our TH-cam @valorinsure
What insurance companies do you recommend for bad driving record? 😅
In what state?
If you have any insurance that is offering safe drive in the app. DONT GET IT IS JUST A WAY TO INCREASE YOUR INSURANCE ANS EVEN HIGHER. That’s I big scam
Ik I don’t trust that especially because of the way I drive 😂😂
State Farm here in Michigan they wanted I pay for health coverage just exclusively applicable for the car. They said is mandatory in the state of Michigan. Is this the case? because I never experience this before.....I suspect State Farm is not competitive in the state of Michigan.
If you are in Medicare parts A and B and your deductible is lower than $5,000 you can opt out of it.
Look up @valorinsure. There is a video that goes in depth on the PIP (Personal Injury Protection) on there.
Statefarm=Scamfarm. F them in Michigan and Hell.
Did you find a better company. State farm is a scam
IMO, I would NEVER allow a financial institution to dictate to me as to what is or is not mandatory. I would demand they show the law that says its mandatory. Consumer law is your best friend.
They are charging me $250, for a 2008 car and I’m 69 yrs old, pretty sure they are a shady co.
I filled out for quote they(progressive) said my quote is $1600/month.😮
I have them and they are ridiculous and I’m looking elsewhere.
Any advice for 20 year old college student, I’m getting my first car in Pennsylvania
I would look at American National and Travelers.
At Able insurance i was paying 198/ month, now they bumped it to 242/ month after renewal
Why?
@@AhmedKhan-dq4ku I think it was because of new state law minimum.

What about Lemonade? I understand it’s not in all the states but in Illinois for example which insurance company is better?
Could be, it all depends on the state. Just be careful with Lemonade because they have a lot of debt. That doesn’t pan well over time when it comes to stability and trustworthiness with claims.
@@ThinkInsurance many thanks for your response. To my knowledge they’ve zero debt and they have over 1 billion in cash
What’s the best in maryland?
Travelers and Progressive are two I would look at. Erie as a backup
24 w a 2019 mustang in Tenn. with 4 speeding tickets since 2018 & 2 at fault accidents… HELP
You can fill out a quote and my guy will check for you but it’s hard with the 2 AFAs… 😬 - having 6+ occurrences may also exclude you from some companies. Probably Progressive or Erie would be a fit. Hard to say
Might be time to drop the mustang and drive slower 😆- money wise. Fun wise, YOLO 😆
I think I’ll sell my car they gave me rate for over $700 a month with no accident and only one ticket, broke my ankle and stopped working for 2 months and now I can’t find an insurance a company and I need to pay $700 to dmv to clear my registration suspension 😞
What car insurance would you recommend for a 19 year old young driver who has a speeding ticket on their record in the state of louisiana?
Progressive, Dairyland, State Farm, Nationwide

Best option for an 55 year old in South Florida with claims and points??
United Auto, Nationwide and Geico are the three I would look at. State Farm as a backup
just renegotiated with State Farm for $190 for 6 month liability on a 2005 Honda Element and $306 for 6 month full coverage on a 2011 Nissan Armada Platinum. We are pretty happy with the coverage we have here in the midwest.
What is the bare minimum I can scrap in Florida?
10/20 bodily and property. 10 PIP. Basically one way lol
