I tried my first iPhone the 15 Pro Max for a few months and I couldn't get used to the limitations/quirks of IOS. Picked up the S24 Ultra as soon as it came out. Never been happier.
I did the same as you, got tired of the little things and limitations and went from my 15 Pro to the S24 Ultra, I bought my new phone on pre sale and the S24 Ultra 500gb ended up being cheaper than the 256gb 15 Pro (not max)
My own two cents is that you shouldn't lock yourself in into any ecosystem because of exactly the inconveniences that you mentioned. It gives the illusion that you can't switch because "it's going to be such a hassle". I own the S24U, a MacBook Pro, and Sony earbuds. Do I miss out on a lot of fluidity between devices? Hell yeah. But ignorance is bliss. Since I've never been part of an ecosystem, I don't care as much as to what I'm missing. Previously, I owned a OnePlus and JBL earbuds. I'm happy not to feel compelled to get the same brand every time I upgrade.
Exact same here. I have the S24U, airpods pro, a windows PC and an old MacBook pro from 2012 or something. They all work together, I just don't get the absolute most fluid ecosystem imaginable, because I don't need it. My earbuds connect to Bluetooth. My phone connects to my PC if I need it to. My macbook is just a Google chrome machine. Etc
I did the whole Apple ecosystem for about a year until it just got really frustrating. The MacBook Air, while being an awesome machine, doesn’t fit my needs at all. The iPad was mostly left unused and I ended up selling it. Really, I only use the Apple Watch Ultra, iPhone 14 Pro Max and AirPods Pro 2. I swapped the MacBook for a Surface Pro and got Sony XM4, which both work way better. Now I’m really thinking of switching back to Samsung for my phone…
I’m getting ready to switch over to the Samsung ecosystem simply because I live in the Philippines now and Apple is not that common out here and it makes sense my one big holdup is the Apple TV what do you recommend as a sub? Please note I really like my Apple TV except for the remote it’s too sensitive.
I mean you can do the same in America. The point isn't that iOS is the only way to do it, its that once you get started its hard to want to totally swap family finances for a new phone.
yes only Americans use it. in our country it's either debit/credit card or good old cash. we use Facebook msgr instead of imessage, and quick share/Bluetooth over air drop.
@@TheEverydayDad there are many apple stuff like apple pay and family sharing, apple maps, etc. that work best only in USA. For The rest of the world, it doesn't work that well. Hence lesser incentive to buy an IPhone.
How’s texting between everyone in the household? Looking forward to IOS adopting RCS finally, just hate not being to text over a video and have them get the same quality as I recorded it.
@samimua1986 if your switching from an iPhone read the above reply. You need to make sure you have imessage turned off on your iPhone or it will screw up your texts with friends and family that still have iPhone. Also make sure they start up a new line od texts with you, their iPhone will think they are sending imessages to you. But good news, ios 18 will include rcs messaging. I hope you enjoy your new phone, the one thing I miss is siri. Google sucks with voice transcription.
I definitely prefer "The Tall Tower of Power" on the S24 Ultra to the "kitchen stove" camera array on the iPhone. And generally I think the S24 Ultra is one of the best looking phones out there...but of course, design is subjective 😊
Note 10 is my current phone and becoming well known as one of their pinnacle device lines. Still works flawlessly, battery is still good but am starting to notice the wear and updates the level is starting to drop quicker so I'm looking into upgrading. I'm still pondering going with a S23Ultra VS a S24Ultra, that's what brought here. @@mikeontherock
You're the first YTer that I have come across that actually brought up the Pro Mode camera features. I get that most smartphone users are not photographers so they won't relate to pro settings and manual anything. They just want end results. But I pre-ordered the S24 Ultra for that main reason. I have the iPhone 12 Max and I just needed better control of these camera lenses than what iPhone gave me. I'm not completely sold on the entire Samsung eco-system, nor am I with Apple, but Android gives you choices, and I like that. Another main thing is Dex, and Dex with Lightroom Mobile. The 2 combo is a deal breaker for me. I'm an amature street photographer, and whether I carry my cameras or the phone, I wanna be able to come home and just edit on a larger screen, zero transfer needed. Dex is just chef's kiss.
Same story, I've switched from S22+ and Z Flip 3 before and now all those little compromises, that were always the case, are finally gone. Best device ever had.
I have an s10 and trying to choose between s24+ and ip5 pro. i honestly don't enjoy samsung version of social media apps, what do you think about the s24 ? is it any better on ui than s10 ?
@@frostfearen what do you mean about social apps? I'm using apps from Google Play and stay away from Galaxy Store if I can and can't see the difference between these apps from my gf's Xiaomi. Where do you live? Stay away from Exynos, get the Ultra. Snapdragon version is a different story, lack of developers support with Exynos is a thing, experienced this using S22+. I think it's a matter of taste, iPhone will do the job in the simplest possible way. S24+ also will do the job but in a way of your choice. Samsung also offers complete desktop UI when connected to smart tv or monitor - I use this a lot, bluetooth keyboard and I have notebook anywhere I go . If you prefer Apple simplicity I would wait for iPhone 16. Like freedom of choice and PC mode in your pocket? S24 Ultra is a beast, buy it...
thank you for the reply ! the social media apps ui differs between the two and also the camera issue where you take a picture and upload from android it looks low quality even tho it's not. i had my fair share of s10 exynos issues too so i get what you say about it. they say this exynos is way better than s22 but i just can't trust them since they said the same about s22 too. ultra is at the price point of pro here. i never used dex with my s10 never needed it .i can't wait because of the economy here and also my phone is about to give up lol i keep losing signals etc. s24 ultra is a good option tho like you said . it's just every comparison video or review says iphone's camera works better in default settings without editing @@SilentKeeperI
@@frostfearen for instant camera without editing iPhone for sure. Even S22+ takes photos much more "ready to post". S24 Ultra takes neutral photos, great for future editing. Night photos are bad considering the hardware, can't wait for the promised update. Take the 15 pro or wait for the iPhone 16 IMO. I prefer S24U but you probably benefit more from iOS simplicity.
Samsung phones have had multi-app support including floating windows and split screen for years. Go into the recent apps menu tap the app icon above the card and you'll see options for multi-window stuff. U can also drag from the corners to make floating windows iirc.
I own a 15 Pro and switched from Android to iOS 7 years ago and am pretty happy with the decision, but this is the first ever review that got me interested in the S24U for a minute. You covered all of the unique selling points in just 10 minutes. Excellent work!
I’m actually switching from the iPhone over to the s24 ultra! I can’t wait. Haven’t been this excited for a phone in 10 years when I first got an iPhone. Hubby is an Apple person. He won’t switch.

@@emilsecker7881 I actually do have other Apple gear. I had the entire ecosystem before switching. (Watch, phone, Mac, and iPad) I still have all of those other devices while having the S24 Ultra and it's really not that bad. Do I miss some of the things from having the entire ecosystem? Of course...but, with a few minor adjustments I'll be just fine.
I made the switch the other way around 5 years ago and never looked back. The security on Windows/Android is trash and that's the main reason. I miss my windows PC, I miss my Android phone, but I just don't want to go back with all these hackers messing around. It's just a safer environment to be on an iPhone/Mac.
In 2024, it should not be difficult to keep a group chat working without having to create the group again. Apple needs to chill a bit and allow for iMessage to work hand in hand with Samsung/Google messaging, in a variety of ways.
Meanwhile android users don't even know if we're a green bubble or blue bubble nor do we care. 🤷♀️ lol (I just found out about the different colored bubbles approximately last year. Still takes up 0% of my brain space.)
im a samsung user & my stepdaughter talked me into getting a iphone a year & half ago. i dont see anything so special about imessege & facetime. next month, im gonna be so d@mn happy when i switch over to the s24+. from reviews ive seen, samsung eco system is almost as good as apple & some say its alot better than apple.
9:03 I absolutely hate 'ecosystems'. So happy I don't get trapped to one company for everything and dragging everyone else around me with it. So I'm happy to move to Android one then use iOS the next if I wanted to. So happy with my S24 Ultra. But other than the Watch6 (which I got for cheap), I am not buying other Samsung products with the intention of it working well together. It's just so sad to see people literally stuck using an iPhone because of the garden its users trap them in and seeing a example like yours is just so, so sad.
I have recently begun using the s24ultra for work-related tasks, and while the initial transition was challenging, I have since found it to be an effective tool for enhancing my productivity and efficiency. I still kept the iphone 15 pro max for a backup personal phone.
It feels great on the hand. its like im holding a small tab and its not as heavy as my iphone 13pm. its huge but its small kinda feel. The flat display is really cool to hold and touch.
Just got the Titanium Violet Ultra to replace my Nothing Phone 2 and while there's aesthetic differences which I'll miss, this Ultra phone is a significant upgrade overall...including battery life. which is insane.
9:00 i get that 100% , if you've built your family into an ecosystem that switch is painful. I'm getting ready to give my kid her first device and I'm not certain if we want to go iOS or Android
On the keyboard, you can add long press shortcuts on the settings as well as grammar checks to make it even better. Last I checked, iphone can't use more than 2 apps at once.
It's the reason why no one switches to android, who's invested in apple. I got the s24 ultra as a side phone for fun, but the iPhone is still my primary for all the reasons you mentioned. I actually really dislike using my iPhone and grab the Samsung for all entertainment and browsing.
To author: Good video! To everyone: Relying on a vendor specific ecosystem for your daily activities and money management is where the problem is. Remember to always use a generic system that you can use on a Windows or on a Mac or an Android or iPhone. America is one of the countries that does this. Yikes that some people cannot have choices as they are already slaves to an eco system :(. I feel sorry for them!
Just a thought, as someone living outside the US, it's a bit of a code smell that you have so many core things linked to this 3rd party service like Apple. Sure keeping things separated is a bit more effort, but it's worth it. Outside of the social aspect, it's so weird to me that so much of life circles around an Apple ID. That's a single point of failure and a security risk imo. No judgement, just an outside perspective. Keep well. :)
Great video ... I'm glad you're highlighting some of what makes Samsung a very compelling choice when it comes to tech (ecosystems). I can't wait to see what you try next
Hear me out from a content creator's perspective. I've been exclusive to iPhone and the ecosystem since the 5s. I decided to try the 24 Ultra. Every review says the iPhone video is just slightly better than what Sammy can produce so I stayed. What I didn't consider was the features of the camera app itself. 1.Dual camera with separate video files is so useful for getting different zoom ranges or a selfie cam and forward facibg cam at the same time. 2.The S Pen as a built in remote shutter. 3. 16:9 photos for thumbnails 4. Better transition when switching lenses. 5. Switching between front facing and rear facing cameras with continuous recording. 6. Pro video as you mentioned. All my adulting is done per app rather than in iCloud accounts so that has been a non issue on my end so that only leaves iMessage and Facetime that I'm missing after the switch. The only other drawbacks I can think of is app function. Capcut, Lumafusion, and Godaddy Studio (where I make thumbnails) are almost as good as ios but not perfect. I usually edit on the macbook anyway so not a huge deal and Airdrop is so inconsistent Id rather just plug in to transfer files.
I made sure that my family never got sucked into the Apple ecosystem. My kids resisted the social pressure and they realized that they lost nothing being shunned by some people who would judge them for having a different coloured text bubble. There are plenty of truly worthy people to be friends with. We have saved so much money and enjoyed quality products that could be upgraded and repaired anywhere and we've been able to share files, documents, music, images and video with no restrictions since day one. Third party apps make it possible to share files with their iphone owning friends.
I went from iphone 6 plus to S10 plus. Now on s21 ultra. The limitation iphone has is like crippling. It imprisons you to it's ecosystem. Luckily i broke free. Most of my friends and family made the switch also. We were so glad we did that decision.
You can actually multi screen in S24 ultra since i dont remember, its called Pop up view and Split screen view try it out. Also set up a predetermined setup for multi tasking combo on samsung Edge panel for example google docs on the bottom half of the screen and chrome on the top half.
It has been a week since I made the "Swap" from iPhone 14 Pro to galaxy Z fold 5, the only thing I miss is Apple Pay, every thing else is much much better than the iPhone.
That Samsung is a very good looking phone, I've always liked the look of the square corners. I'm staying with my iPhone though, for a number of reasons (cost, ecosystem, etc.).
speaking of ecosystem i think samsung dies it good, try to have samsung product like tv oven ref etc you can control all of this through your samsung phoe all these stuff.
Another option for the keyboard is to add symbols into the background of the letters. So then all you would do to add a question mark to the end of the sentence is long press the letter m and it will add it. No more toggling through pages of crap to do numbers and symbols like iphone.
Real world, someone has an iPhone, and iPad and a Mac. I would like to see the scenario with a video of this where only the phone is swapped, not the entire ecosystem!!!! Now, the software you choose will depend on how hard this scenario becomes. If you use all Apple apps, this is impossible. If you use Microsoft O365, then it’s a bit easier.
You have to have the mind set like when cell phones first came out. Changed everything and never will we ever go back to the way we lived in the 80’s. So commit and embrace change.
I know what you mean about feeling smaller, I just went from s22 ultra to s24 ultra and the good feeling I get from just holding it is amazing, everything about the s24 ultra is just beyond other experiences with phones, this phone with the ai ect is just a game changer and a new bench mark in smart phones
I understand the pain and personally use two phones for work and personal life. Not the best solution but get the best of both worlds and upgrade yearly so always have the latest and greatest. Having said that not sure why there is so much hate for iPhones and iOS in general for comments on most TH-cam videos? Android and iOS are very similar with both borrowing heavily from each other, additionally apple’s ecosystem is awesome, isn’t a good ecosystem that works flawlessly what everyone wanted before we had one and what most tech companies are working towards? Plus their phones are great and do everything well whilst being best in class in most of the categories that matter to normal users with most apps being more polished in iOS on top of that. So I’m really not sure where this hate comes from. Especially since all these phones are priced nearly identically!
I use a 14 Pro Max and just upgraded my S22 Ultra to the S24U. I havent been excited for Android anything in 8 years, but the S24U has me back in love with it. The screen is absolutely amazing. The difference between OneUI 6.0 to 6.1 is huge. The AI stuff is actually useful in daily life. Apple better throw their hat in the ring really quick
@@a.d.5037iPhone is still better at anything camera/video… on the Samsung, if your subject is moving at all then you’ll have blurry pics … iPhone handles motion much better.
It's strange how people rave about it's appearance. I don't think it looks that good, my old note 20 and note 9 looked much better. The fold and flip look much nicer. But it's ai functionality and little details make the s24 ultra the best phone I have ever used.
Coming form from an iPhone, wouldn't the navigation bar be more comfortable than the three button layout or do you prefer the 3 button layout over gestures 👀.
After 10 years I sold all apple ecosystem to try this s24 Ultra and it has been preety good. Still getting used to tough. In Brazil there's none of iMessage user so that was not a problem so other issues I guess is just a matter of time to adapt
I gave it a try with s9 tab, couldn't see myself using it for something serious, so I returned it. Galaxy watch looks like kids watch, in my opinion. Ultra 24 might be good, but I just think it's not worth trying to switch, since I probably won't like it 😅
I just switched back to Android with S24U. Even though a lot of my family and friends have iPhones. They're all just basic users though and don't really use any of the "ecosystem" features at all. So the switch back to Android, doesn't really affect how I interact with them. For me personally, there isn't anything I do that the apple ecosystem makes it better.
I had an iphone since its inception and had it thru cingular wireless (before at&t) i thought it was great had one all the way to iphone 11 pro max i was tired of the limitations and feeling trapped dont get me wrong the ecosystem is nice but not enough for me to stay anymore than i seen the galaxy note series and had to try it i havent looked back since actual multitasking being able to run to apps side by side not just jumping between one and the other and emulating old school games it finally felt a phone that i can do my own way not apples way than i upgraded to a fold 3 this elevates everything and transfering personal stuff is easy i pay my bills and my accou ts are on here as well
Had the Ultra for a bit but then switched back to iOS. I truly loved the phone & had no complaints. My complaint & reason to go back to iOS is truly because of my family as well. Virtually all on iOS.
Sooooo.... I have an S20... being offered either an S24 or a IPhone 15 pro max. Om doing my research and z little torn now. I lloooooove Android, btw. I've never had an iPhone but the rest of my family does...... what to do what to do?!!!
I switched and I have both ios iphone 13 pro but my mainly one is the S24U now. Battery life is insanely good. S-Pen and Dex are something iphones most likely will never add... and yes I started with a Note 2, my last one was the Note 4 and just wish the next Galaxy have an IR blaster like the Note 4. As far as colleagues on 🍎 well... deal with it is not a biggie for me
awesome video man appreciated all your point of views I recently switched over to iPhone and my main reason for moving was the Apple Watch Ultra. How do you feel the watches is compare? I honestly know the Samsung is a better phone, but the allure of something new pulled me away haha
It's interesting, I've been a Samsung user for a couple of years until I switched to Apple for 4-5 years now, is it an easier interface? Yes, does it have limitations on customizability, Defiantly. My wife upgraded her Samsung FE20 to Pixel 8 so I decided to play around with with the FE20 for a week and I forgot about all the stuff I was used to be able to do on Andriod. I am eligible for an phone upgrade myself from my I-phone 13 and the Galaxy 24 Ultra is very tempting! Thanks for the review!
Using the s24 ultra was amazing for me. All the gripes I had with Samsung are taken care of. But I had to return to iOS just because of how much used to iOS I am, the ecosystem and fluidity. But ya the s24 ultra just demanded us to use it more. The screen, the aesthetics just made you want to use it more.
I set mine up from scratch so I could review what apps I wanted on my phone. I changed from the 3 button setup that it ships with to gesture navigation. I also prefer Gboard to the stock keyboard. Otherwise I am loving mine.
all samsung phones will slow down noticeably in 6 months of usage. In contrast, iphone 12 is four years old and runs as quick as it did in day 1. Moreover, apple apps are higher quality in general. No ads. Pure functionally. Samsung may keep trying, but no. it is not a match to iPhone for day to day usage. Remember , a good phone is secure phone.
I bought an iPhone 11 and I have to tell you that it is not as fast as it was. Opening apps is terribly slow, unlike Android I can't use many apps in the background without them shutting down or rebooted. Flagships will definitely not slow down significantly after half a year, as you write here. And if Face Id is more secure is the question because my iPhone can unlock my twin brother or my girlfriend when I'm sleeping because no motion detection works with FaceID
One of the coolest things about it the national geographic NFC flipsuit case that changed the video lock screen AOD. Also as an owner of the s23 Ultra the s pen is phenomenal for remote gestures, remote camera controls from a distance, navigation and texting when your fingers get tired etc I used to be an apple sheep then i became a Samsung Knight. Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, Red Magic, Honor Magic, Google, One Plus changed my life in the android world in 2019. There's no comparison. Also people thinking that Samsung took ideas is crazy and misinformed when Apple took , USB C , Programmable side key, TH-cam pop up view , 5x zoom , Always on display from Samsung. Samsung and Android was one of the best things that happened to apple. Competition is a necessity. Also once I saw multi tasking , the open OS that i could download anything from anywhere at anytime, good lock customization, emulation, foldable innovation etc unlimited features I vowed ios and Apple would never get my main sim again also they force e sim and android has alot of flexibility. Android is objectively superior
I have always said that Samsung makes really nice handsets. Much better than Apple. I just cannot deal with the Android operating system. If I could get iOS on a Samsung handset I'd do it in a minute.
Meanwhile, the rest of the world functions brilliantly without being snared in Apple's ecosystem. Bills paid via Google Pay or Samsung Pay with no problems. You might wanna try the huge multi-tasking and split-screen features on that phone, that simply blows away any iPhone!
I’m wondering why you said you went from a MacBook to a TabS9. Why didn’t you pick the galaxy book? Yes tab s9 is great but it’s more of an IPad replacement and not a MacBook replacement.
Yes, But he is a TH-cam creator. MacBook probably his photo and video editing machine. Something that requires more power and power apps than what Dex can offer. Galaxy book can give you that. Unless he uses a web based app to do those ok Dex is enough.
You are better than me. I have to now carry an iPhone and an android. IPhone 15 pro max and pixel 8 pro. And I have to say, it ain't that bad. I never wear skinny jeans and I really enjoy having both. I use to have to keep switching my Sim card but now, best of both worlds. The family won't go android, my brother's or my wife and my friends have android.
I have been using an iPhone since the 6. Switched to Samsung in 2019 for 6 months then switched back because of the familiarity with iPhone just drew me back. But I am strongly considering the pixel pro 9 fold, but I need to get used to a new notes app, find my and other things like that make it hard to switch.
I switched to Android about 6 months ago, mostly - my iPhone XR and Airpods were getting old, my Apple Watch SE I could sell for pretty close to what I paid for it, so all in all it was pretty easy to swap it over all at once - the whole transition was a net $450 for some last-gen recent refurbished top end products. The OS took some getting used to, but once I did it's just so much more comfortable to use. It's hard for me to use my iPad anymore except with a keyboard attached, I keep wanting to do things that either don't have an Apple equivalent or it's simply less intuitive - why can't I splitscreen apps vertically? Why do certain apps refuse to let me split them? Why does Apple not let you resize the slideover window like you can floating windows in Android, nor let you use a Stage Manager resizeable window over a fullscreen app? Lots of little things like that crop up. I still use my iPad regularly, it's handy to have a full-sized tablet with keyboard for whatever purpose and it probably gets an hour or so of use a day still, plus there's a bit of Apple-only software that I still use - but when Apple's tablet is being out-tableted by a Z Fold 4 in everything other than screen size, well, whenever my iPad is in need of replacement I'm just gonna get a Galaxy Tab. I can get over losing access to Find My, ProCreate, and the ability to actually use Apple services on the occasion my family sends me proprietary notes or whatever.
Work forces me to use an iPhone and it’s painful. I suppose it would be fine if I’ve never seen an Android, but it’s unbelievable how easily Americans are brainwashed by marketing. I’ve got the s24+ and my work phone (iPhone 13 pro) makes me cringe every time I have to use it. iOS is just so dated and feels like phone prison. Glad you mentioned the keyboard to… iPhone keyboard is the worst! Been getting worse every phone they make. Why won’t they fix it?!?
Yeah the iPhone keyboard is terrible, I immediately replaced it with Gboard and now I'm moving to the S24+. Those keyboards on Android in the system are really top.
The biggest "hook" in staying in iOS is buying into it in the first place and letting it all take root. Then, if one wants to break rank, it's like swimming upstream. It's a big reason I don't want Apple in everything I do. I like choice and competition. Apple has shown they don't like playing nice in the sandbox with others.
9:12 Is Apple also a bank? Or why is it si hard to use a normal bank/card instead of relying on Apple pay or whatever? Is this yet another US only thing that I am too EU to understand?
They may not be a specific bank, but they have agreements that include banks into Apple Pay that families might be using as their high yield savings account/bill pay system.
Oh, I was confused here as well. So you are able to use apple wallet/pay to do things with bank accounts, just using apple pay to buy a drink at the gas station.@@TheEverydayDad

I definitely prefer "The Tall Tower of Power" on the S24 Ultra to the "kitchen stove" camera array on the iPhone. And generally I think the S24 Ultra is one of the best looking phones out there...but of course, design is subjective 😊
Kitchen stove is a good way to put it lol
For me the absolute best looking phone was S21 Ultra.
I'm loving it just got a 24 ultra.....but my previous note 10 plus, to me, is the nicest smartphone ever made.
@Juicemanee Exactly, design is subjective, so its perfectly fine for everyone to have their own preference 👍
Over the years, I went from an S10e to S22 Ultra and now this S24 Ultra. I will stay with the Ultra version from now on!!
Keep up the good work. Great review, no biases or fan boy, just honest informative and real life review ❤

Switched from 13 pro max to s24 ultra. Gave my old iphone to my mom. We both love it
Same swap! I love my phone. The S24 Ultra is pretty dope!
my last android was the S6 Edge Plus. god knows how many years it has been. I'm loving the s24 Ultra so far. it's not touchwiz anymore which I hated back then lmao@@mistercorneliusa.blanding8007
As long as you don’t have other Apple gear you’re fine
@@emilsecker7881 I actually do have other Apple gear. I had the entire ecosystem before switching. (Watch, phone, Mac, and iPad) I still have all of those other devices while having the S24 Ultra and it's really not that bad. Do I miss some of the things from having the entire ecosystem? Of course...but, with a few minor adjustments I'll be just fine.
@@mistercorneliusa.blanding8007 eww. Get an iPhone then or switch away completely. Can’t have other Apple stuff with an Android phone. Yuck
Mr. Cook said they will adopt the new standard but I’m hearing it’s the basic new standard. Sounds like Apple to me.
@@2078smith I can't wait for you to switch. You'll love it.
Nope!! Not happening 😅
How is paying your bills tied to an OS? Don't you guys have banking apps and bank ID?
right? I've never used an iPhone or anything besides credit cards/my bank for things. I live in the US, too, lol.

I absolutely hate 'ecosystems'.
Love this guy, very honest in his reviews!! Watching on my s23 ultra, keeping this till end of the year!
I have the s22, dropped it off the mountain a few times. . .got hit by a 30 lbs beam at work. . . going great 🤣🤣 bixby getting really annoying though
S24 Ultra is the one “if” you are looking for a device that may you look like a businessman.
The CEO/business looking phone 💯
I knew he wasnt going to stick with Android even before watching the video.
I feel sorry for them!
lmao people have their own preferences and learn of what's more convenient for them. don't feel sorry for what you don't know and don't understand
America is such a fascinating land
samsung s24 ultra smokes the Crapple samsung made iphone
Im so glad i got out of the apple ecosystem. The cost was just going up and up
I went from iphone 6 plus to S10 plus. Now on s21 ultra. The limitation iphone has is like crippling. It imprisons you to it's ecosystem. Luckily i broke free. Most of my friends and family made the switch also. We were so glad we did that decision.
As long as you don’t have other Apple stuff you’re fine
How do u manage to swop the whole ecosystem, most stuff on iCloud is not even compatible such as reminders , etc…
You could just use the iPad for all your other family Apple needs
THAT TRIPLE CAMERA ON THE IPHONE LOOKS STUPID
You can actually multi screen in S24 ultra since i dont remember, its called Pop up view and Split screen view try it out. Also set up a predetermined setup for multi tasking combo on samsung Edge panel for example google docs on the bottom half of the screen and chrome on the top half.
It has been a week since I made the "Swap" from iPhone 14 Pro to galaxy Z fold 5, the only thing I miss is Apple Pay, every thing else is much much better than the iPhone.
What about samsung pay? How is it different? Sorry, I haven't use iphone since iphone 5C that's my last apple product
@@Sayeretmatqalyou can do the exact same thing with an iPhone.
I can’t help noticing that you haven’t switched to gesture navigation, trust me the universal back gesture is life changing.
Dex is so good!!! So under appreciated.
Dolby atmos well help with ur volume problems it really helps
I use 2 sim cards and 1 phone. Works flawlessly.
Hi. How is the camera/ videos on the Samsung? ( I heard iphone 15 is better ). Btw I am a iPhone user
Ultra 24 might be good, but I just think it's not worth trying to switch, since I probably won't like it 😅
Just switched to my 24 Ultra. Seems big but I agree it fits great in the hand.
the majora's mask clock tower sound was triggering haha
Next video in September : long time Samsung fan boy switches to the IPhone 16 Pro Max
that's true... 😂
That titanium orange colour scheme is actually looking real good
Was you display also grainy on low brightness in for example the notification panel?
I had an iphone since its inception and had it thru cingular wireless (before at&t) i thought it was great had one all the way to iphone 11 pro max i was tired of the limitations and feeling trapped dont get me wrong the ecosystem is nice but not enough for me to stay anymore than i seen the galaxy note series and had to try it i havent looked back since actual multitasking being able to run to apps side by side not just jumping between one and the other and emulating old school games it finally felt a phone that i can do my own way not apples way than i upgraded to a fold 3 this elevates everything and transfering personal stuff is easy i pay my bills and my accou ts are on here as well
Where is the link to the mini keyboard??
Had the Ultra for a bit but then switched back to iOS. I truly loved the phone & had no complaints. My complaint & reason to go back to iOS is truly because of my family as well. Virtually all on iOS.
Best looking phone to date sleek and modern
That's how apple gets you. I'm surprised you got as far as you did with the S24U while your whole family is balls deep in the apple ecosystem.
I’m curious about how are your iPhone screens organized! Please make a video!!
What's the Discord for your channel?
Smart people with taste get the titanium orange color - just like me ;-) (but did you get the 1TB storage?)
As far as colleagues on 🍎 well... deal with it is not a biggie for me
Didn't use gesture navigation? Gotta use gboard as well.
How about the screen grain issue? Have you noticed anything?
You have a very hard life 😂😂🤣🤣
Awesome perspective/information!
awesome video man appreciated all your point of views I recently switched over to iPhone and my main reason for moving was the Apple Watch Ultra. How do you feel the watches is compare? I honestly know the Samsung is a better phone, but the allure of something new pulled me away haha
Are you able to still use a MacBook Pro if you switch to an Android phone? Been thinking if trading in from IPhone
My S23 is working like a champ!
Bye! Close the door on your way out.
Why does everyone always say the full name for the s24 but just all their iphone just iphone??
That’s weird. I don’t use Apple accounts for any of my bills or finances. Very strange
One of the coolest things about it the national geographic NFC flipsuit case that changed the video lock screen AOD. Also as an owner of the s23 Ultra the s pen is phenomenal for remote gestures, remote camera controls from a distance, navigation and texting when your fingers get tired etc
I used to be an apple sheep then i became a Samsung Knight.
I said it before and I said it again... s24Ultra is the definitive Android phone imo.
Meanwhile, the rest of the world functions brilliantly without being snared in Apple's ecosystem. Bills paid via Google Pay or Samsung Pay with no problems. You might wanna try the huge multi-tasking and split-screen features on that phone, that simply blows away any iPhone!
Multitasking on a phone is a claustrophobic mess. That’s what a pc and 27 inch screen is for.
Bruhhh finances?? If anything texting will be my biggest issue if I change over and FaceTime lol
I’m wondering why you said you went from a MacBook to a TabS9. Why didn’t you pick the galaxy book? Yes tab s9 is great but it’s more of an IPad replacement and not a MacBook replacement.
90% of pro MacBook users use it a browser machine so at that point any computer with a good battery life and keyboard and screen would do the job.
You're right. Gary has said before that he could do all his work on a tablet if it weren't for video editing and gaming. @@rano12321
How did you get your emoji icon on the keyboard?
It’s too hard to put your bank app on the Galaxy to pay your bills? Or the credit card apps on there to pay them? First world TH-camr problem huh
It’s just his excuse. He was never switching lmao
I will never use anything but a Samsung phone.
