Oh no, you're wrong on this one. Is not a cheat, it's a glitch. Happened to me twice, once with a weapon art, the magma spin and rotten dragon breath. Both times on console and talked with the hosts about it and they had no idea why I was taking phantom hits. The solution to it it's just using the red finger to respawn.

Nah bro you're good, I was as confused as you the two times it happened to me, I also got a boss in my screen but the host already killed it and it was still doing damage to me lol.
The dragon from farum azula that disappears like 2 times.

Actually, I believe this is a just visual bug when loading in. You can see it doesn't actually damage the other invader at 5:03.

1k playtime and I still have no idea what Assassin's gambit does
It makes you slightly invisible, and silents your footsteps for about 60 seconds.

If you wanna actually go invis you need to equip the furled finger talisman and stack the invis spell together with gambit in the right order. Can't remember which one comes first but there's only two possible combinations so it's not hard to test.
Concealing veil is another option
I don’t have the furled finger talisman yet because I didn’t do the quest line that allowed me to obtain it. I helped old girl instead of taking her out. I need to complete it the opposite way in this current play through to get it.

Don't wear briar armor it breaks the game. (It's not op mind you it's just cancer)
I just wear it to be different. Everybody wears the same armor. Plus I like the character from the pve side of the game.
@@sphony Its pretty but i causes your opponents hits to go in random directions when you roll through them. Making the game less skill based. And more random. Seriously its an unintended mechanic that makes the game way worse. Dont use it in multiplayer.
@@kvassier Meh its all good. Nobody really complains when I fight them in the arena with it on. I think I accidentally defeated one light roller with the armor set. I also recently changed it anyway since im doing reverse backstabs. I have also dueled other players with the armor and it never messed up my gameplay to be honest.
