The SUVs & SMYs are my favorite boats, at least until you get to the larger explorer type yachts. I love the fishing cockpits & the outside seating area. Even if I'm not sports fishing, I want a place to safely & comfortably fish. Besides Riviera & dedicated sports fishers (typically less of my thing) there's not a lot out there.
"You're never more than 6ft away from a bar on this boat." Obviously built for the Aussie market, then! Gorgeous boat by the way, and another highly polished tour.
Hi Jack, we must have crossed paths at the Sanctuary Cove boat show. I was on that boat as well. Riviera makes a strong, robust reliable boat. Great quality build. The European boat manufacturers could learn a few lessons from Riviera. The most notable difference is that we don't waste valuable space on sun beds. We convert that space into usable entertainment space. Skin cancer is a big deal in Australia, so we don't need to lie in the sun all day. (15 minutes top). At anchor we would rather be doing something, rather than lying on our backs posing. That's why open flybridges won't sell here. We like to explore islands (tender garage is important), paddle board, snorkel, dive, swim, chill etc and of course BBQ. On our sports boats we use the aft sun bed area that European manufacturers have, for entertainment space in the cockpit and a tender garage underneath. At most, we will have a sun bed on the foredeck and that sun bed will have a fold over canopy for sun protection. In Australia we design the BBQ first and then build the boat around the BBQ. 😄 A double grill is a must. One grill plate for steaks and one flat plate for bacon, eggs and teppanyaki. Even in the Med you would be crazy to lie in the sun all day and it frustrates me how little attention the European manufacturers give to a BBQ which is the centrepiece for outdoor dining and entertainment. Hope you had a good time in Australia if that is where you were.
Hi John, we actually shot this tour at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, Florida. Fascinating comment and insight into the design, thanks for taking the time to post it. All the best - Jack P.S. Hopefully I’ll get out to Sanctuary Cove at some point!

It would seem that the new benchmark for eu manufacturers has been found! Riviera in the trendsetter in this market Now if they just made this with a fuel bill I could afford, nothing would stop me!!
What most people dont realize is that the helm station positioned at height all the time will be frustrating at most times. Up, down, up and down, all day long. Unless you have 2 people watching the bridge for you. Most people dont have a clue about this.
I always have a laugh when I hear someone say on a boat tour “natural ventilation” when talking about or showing portholes. Do owners on a $5.5 mill yacht or any yacht ever kill the AC and open a window for “natural ventilation”? If I was chartering a yacht and the crew said they would need to open windows for some natural ventilation, I’d demand a $5k an hour refund for every hour the AC wasn’t running. 😂 Im also in South Texas and is 115°(46c) and doing anything without AC isn’t an option. We don’t have a cool breeze.
Beautiful boat but that filter you’re using is driving me mad. Especially with all that white in the sunlight is just too much and creates a bad glaring effect. Just my opinion. Good job, Carry on. 👍✌️
Its a fucken boat man it would be GREAT to see it at SEA in rough weather doing its thing - all very pretty by the jetty but boats wenrt meant to be the jetty..... could someone doing a walkthrough PLEASE put a boat through its paces.... PLEASE Can I just say for 5m id like to see it moving

Riviera do make a beast of a boat. Their SUV version of this boat is a monster. Lovely tour.

@@CrispyOkra i agree. i would have one rigged for diving.
Thanks Jack! Riviera's are definitely my favorite boat yard.
The fabulous luxury, the practicality the speed, etc. These boats are 2nd to none.

Great Aussie boat made about 15km from where I live. Either a Riv or a Maritimo will do me just fine.
Absolutely love Rivs, how do Maritimo measure up to them for quality?
stesion kemudi ruang yang paling saya suka pada boat ini
Riviera yachts are totally dreamy. Only criticism is shot too close to everything, which made the tour feel cramped.
But where do you keep your golf clubs.

the Camera angles are bad. But other than that Riviera does make good boats.
Hi Jack. Four bars and a "boyfriend " cabin......what's not to like? Cheers! 🍸🍸🍸🍸
Very tall. What about the roll at sea? Otherwise…fabulous.
Hopefully we’ll find out during a sea trial at some point 🤞

Not bad but kinda small
Especially Crew Space Extremely Small I think they could have did a better job/at least for Two Crew Member's
