Great video, awesome boat, and I believe that was a King Mackerel and a beauty at that.

Narrow barred Spanish Mackerel in Australia , 😏

@@RGF56 Thank you for the clarification. Here in the States Spanish Mackerel are smaller and have greenish blue backs while the King's look a lot like what he caught and are usually in the 10-20lb range and if you're lucky somewhere around 30-35lbs+

Ah the FAMOUS "Dr. NO" & KOKOMO II sign at 17:36
Read as Dr. NO on board KOKOMO II.
Tribute to JAMES BOND "Dr. NO" who sailed on KOKOMO II.
Few know the meaning of these signs. You're now included in the group.

How’s the Riv in the Waves? Strong and quiet? Looking at Riv or Maritimo?

Similar boats. Every boat has comprises like forgoing sea kindliness in hull design for better cabin accommodation etc. Both great boat builders! Cheers

Hey Peter do you keep the gyro on at rest at night or does it use to much power?

It's probably not a super smart move chocking the bowser open. I understand a lot of fuel needs to go in, and you're going to get a sore hand holding it open. But, if it goes wrong, a chocked open bowser is less than ideal.
