While I love Phillipa Georgiou a lot, I prefer the route in the books Mirror Universe: Glass Empires where after Hoshi Sato became Empress, her clones ruled the Sato Dynasty after her for 122 years till Spock had Hoshi Sato III killed and became Emperor.
Same mostly because I liked the idea of a clone of Johnathan Archer rebelling against the Terran Empire in order to stage a coup against Empress Hoshi Sato. Even if he didn't succeed he would plant the seeds for a new emperor and equal rights for the Terran Empire's subjects (some of them anyway).
I bought a collection of the Next Generation mirror world comics and I would 100% reccommend, wiled away an entire day at the beach just soaking up the sun and reading some good trek.
Correction: At 7:21 Worf was captured alive, not killed.
Well in the mirror universe novels Regent Worf committed suicide in his cell after he was captured but since those novels are non-canon to the main Star Trek timeline they're not taken into consideration.
I've always found that the Mirror Universe really only makes sense as a shadow (in a Jungian sense) that has no independent existence. It's a function of the Prime and completely dictated by it in any given timeframe.
The extended lore of the mirror universe is pretty goofy and unrealistic, you just kind of have to suspend disbelief though because it is pretty fun

We know from City on the Edge of Forever that if one thing changes, everything changes. The Mirror Universe having such a different history could not possibly produce the same people.

The beginnings of the Terran Empire were “retconned” in the later TV shows, between TOS and NG a Star Trek comic series was released which had the Empire being founded after the Romulans had actually invaded and conquered Earth, after several decades of occupation Earth rebelled and forced the Romulans to leave, the Empire was set up with the motto “Never Again” meaning that never again would Earth allow itself to be weak enough to be conquered.
IN MY HEAD CANON, AFTER THE FALL OF THE ALLIENCE, THE REBELS SPLIT IN 2 FACTIONS, O BRIAN CREATE THE GALACTIC COMMONWEALT, BASE IN THE TECHING OF SPOCK, WHILE BASHIR CREATE A NEW EMPIRE, THINKING THAT EXACT IDEA MADE THE FALL OF THE EMPIRE IN FIRST PLACE
Great video but there are a few items that might have been misstatements.
Spock never became Emperor. That's from the novels and the novels are non-canon. Spock rose to become Commander-in-Chief by preaching reform. This weekend the Empire and contributed to it's downfall.
Regent Worf did not die in 2375. Gul Garek died in 275. The Regent surrendered and was taken captive.

I love the original Mirror Mirror episode, but this attempt to build onto it was really a massive convoluted mess.

The Grand Nagus/Regent Worf episode is the absolute worst Mirror Universe story. Retconning that the Klingons didn’t have cloaking tech despite it being shown in a earlier episode was incredibly lazy.
I have to agree while the episode was fine in it's own right it wasn't really a satisfying conclusion to the mirror-verse arc. Instead of a last battle between the Terran Resistance and the Alliance it was more of a Ferengi comedy. Plus, I felt Regent Worf gave up to easily instead of fighting to the death even if he was outgunned and outmatched. Sure the ending sets up the possibility of Intendant Kira to be the new regent of the alliance but with Alex Kurtman at the wheel and due to his controversy as a producer of the new Star Trek it's unlikely we'll ever get a real conclusion to the mirror-verse arc.
The Terran Empire should have prevailed and last forevermore! That's what humanity is meant to be and be proud of it shall we be.

The Vulcan were NEVER conquered by the Terran. The fought to a fraw and the Terrn were so impressed and it generaated such respect..they became a partner scotish situation. Read the novel... the Vulcan were basically super logical romulan

It is NOT Alternative Time Line!!! it whole an Universe!!! also the Vulcans gain equal status with in the Terran Empire. Sir you are mix different timelines with the universes. The Mirror Universe that Kirk and Uhrara bean into is NOT same one that Discovery Crew went into it very different.
From the Terran perspective Kirk was the worst thing to happen to the mirror universe. lol

I love Star Trek I remember watching the original series when I was a kid and I still watch all of the Star Trek shows but I have say that even though I love Star Trek I can really do without the mirror universe. I really think is just no need for it and I know some people are going to get upset but I also could do without Star Trek Discovery. That show is so bad I think about it I kid just by yelling and crying destroyed an entire universe I mean come on that was either lazy writing or a big F U to all the fans. The other series in the Star Trek universe is good expect the mirror universe parts. But I really hope they canceled Discovery. I mean I can even deal with the Kelvin time line because they did a good job explaining it. But Discovery was awful like really one kid crying destroyed the entire universe just one kid SMH

Shame you like to spoil the fun of a good fiction discusion, but I'll offer you my 2 cents, nothing in depth.
Most Republicans (politicians) fake their allegience to conservative ideals, but are secretly alligned with the Democrats in a fake statemate. The mass majority of Democrats, along with those Republicans, have more obvious asociations with elitist authoritarian "progressive" groups such as the World Economic Forum, who, often enough, speak openly about their desires to turn the world into a utopian heaven (dystopian nightmare).
At least that's what I've been picking up. It's really quite difficult to get meaningful statistics down, and even relatively simple political issues require quite a bit of dedication to get a descent depth of understanding about. Unfortunate that a lot of people don't have a sense of their own limits in the grand scope of things.
Did you know that a large number of Democrat politicians have spoken out about the safety of electronic voting before Biden was put into office? And now all of a sudden conservatives with such concerns are "conspiracy theorists", as if people don't conspire all the damn time.
