My husband served 32 yrs in the military and he passed away last year. When they folded that flag and handed it to me I was so proud of him. I will miss him forever....R.I.P. Sgt Columbus, my love.
Such a great American. Toby served our troops well. I'm sure he's singing now to the ones that didn't make it home. A very special man. RIP TOBY KEITH.
Toby wasn't in the service, but his dad was and toby performed dozens of concerts for the military for many years. Rip mr. Keith, loved growing up with your music and you. Peace from Northern Michigan.
Thank you for a much more accurate number, I heard it was alot, but had no idea it was that many. He was a great person who truly loved his country. Thanks again, ❤ Peace from Northern Michigan
Excellent reaction. That's the thing that so many don't understand... This country has, so far, ensured the freedom to dissent. Is America perfect? No, because people are imperfect. But, we quite actually tore ourselves apart to uphold the principles of the Declaration of Independence.
26 years active duty then 7 more years teaching jrotc. The very first thing I learned was respect for my fellow warriors with zero care what color their skin was, how and who they worshipped, what kind of accent they had, what kind of music they liked, what kind of food. All that has no real meaning to any one but themselves.
Saw him in concert 8 times hard to believe he is gone. I still can't listen to him without crying. They announced he is going in the Hall of Fame.RIP TOBY.
I have watched about a dozen of these reaction videos to American Soldier, and I can say this was the best and most sincere that I have seen. The reason I watched so many, I was looking for a reaction to one specific part of the song that struck me the deepest the first time, and every time I hear it. As a retired Navy, and Desert Storm vet, I was really struck by the line "I know the sacrifice, and I don't want to die for you, but if dying is asked of me, I'll bear that cross with honor, cause freedom don't come free." This was something I ever met in the military knew without thinking about it. Just wondering if it was just me or if no one else sees any significance in these words.
This old fourth generation vet has always loved this song. Salute to my brother and sister veterans! Great reaction!! Thank you for playing this. FFDP Wrong side of heaven and gone away are two songs that hit this old vet hard. Trace Atkins Till the last shot is fired and Arlington are two more great songs.
Aussie combat vet R.I.P Big Dawg we won’t see your kind again. l served in a rapid reaction regiment 24/7 standby 4hrs to be wheels up to places we never went & do things we never did. Never knew when that call would come 🇦🇺🇺🇸
@@YBMJETT Aussie combat vet Please don’t thank me l’m nothing special just a broken veteran that was silly enough to run towards the gunfire & seen too much 🇦🇺🇺🇸
Toby Keith had so many great songs so whether you need to hear something heartfelt, patriotic, romantic, sad, melancholy, inspiring, thoughtful, or just plain funny, yeah especially funny, then Toby’s got what you need. My favorite songs by Toby Keith are Who’s That Man; Wish I Didn’t Know Now; You Shouldn’t Kiss Me Like That; He Ain’t Worth Missing; We Were In Love; Upstairs Downtown; Don't Let the Old Man In; How Do You Like Me Now; Made in America; I Wanna Talk About Me; American Soldier; Trailerhood; A Little Too Late; A Little Less Talk and a Lot More Action; and of course Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue. RIP Toby, we miss you!
Check out a couple of songs by Trace Adkins. Arlington and Til The Last Shots Fired, live from the AMC Awards. Also for another very emotional song Radio Tower Remix by Rodney Foster
I come from a military family and my cousin was a marine on the front lines when all the bombings were going on during the war and I was so worried every time I heard about a bombing I'm like please let him be safe thankfully he returned home safely
Hello there. I served 26 years missed countless family events through the years, hell my two, oldest sons I didn’t really get to know till they were nearly grown. One time I went for Pt at 0600 and came home 12 months later. To me it was a privilege. Your views are all the thanks I’ll ever need. Thank you for gettin it. We do have have problems here but it’s the best thing goin and maybe one day we’ll grow up and love each other like we should.
My Dad was in the US Army in WWII, he and my mother has just been married when Pearl Harbor was attacked. They just had a few months together prior to his being drafted. He was sent to the south Pacific and they only had the mail for letters, no phone calls, no video chatting. They didn’t see each other for 3 plus years. My husband is a Vietnam veteran, served in the Marine Corps. Our children were raised loving our country, respecting our flag and honoring those in the military who put their lives on the line for the rest of us. ♥️🇺🇸♥️
Patriotism is definitely not as strong as it used to be. Toby Keith was always such a supporter for our troops and military!! His dad was in the military. He never was in the military. His dad fully supported him trying to get a record deal before joining the military!! But, but serving never changed his absolute respect, admiration and love for our military!!!
Courtesy of the Red White and Blue.. tells you the story of Toby's Daddy... in Vietnam.. Toby didn't serve in the Military.. his Daddy did.. but Toby served by going to decades of USO tours for our military.
Unfortunately, they have been teaching the kids for a long time that its wrong to be patriotic, and you could be "canceled" for things like displaying the American flag. The media is the biggest reason for this.
Loving your Toby Keith videos!!! Check out Trailerhood, Should’ve Been a Cowboy, Beer for my Horses, Made in America, Get out of My Car but that one is a live performance, there’s no wrong one to listen to!!
I like to think this country could still come together if we were attacked. Hopefully it's still like Charlie Daniels sang "We may have done some fighting amongst ourselves but you outside people best leave us alone."
We know what kind of people are creating all of the havoc but people keep voting on the left to control other people instead of liberty for all. Loved your speaking about know the history but today quit trying to put others into the 2nd class citizen role.
i respect you . every single one of you. we will never have to see the sacrifices and terrors from ww2 ever again though. hate how toby put that in this
I am so with you...I love my country! Toby Keith always said, Never apologize for being Patriotic. You are so right.. Im not happy with the government, but I LOVE MY COUNTRY

We need to bring this country together and get rid of the divisiveness.
Toby wasn't in the service, but his dad was and toby performed dozens of concerts for the military for many years. Rip mr. Keith, loved growing up with your music and you. Peace from Northern Michigan.
250+ concerts for service members.
Thank you for a much more accurate number, I heard it was alot, but had no idea it was that many. He was a great person who truly loved his country. Thanks again, ❤ Peace from Northern Michigan
❤🤍💙 Thank you for your reaction to this awesome song by Toby. R.I.P Toby and God Bless our troops.❤🤍💙🇺🇸🇺🇸
As the verse ends and the chorus starts, I almost get teary-eyed each time. What a song!
Toby’s dad was in the military and Toby had such respect for our military.
I’m a former Army attack helicopter pilot with combat experience who has lost friends in defense of this nation…thank you for your reaction…

As long as Country Music stands, so will patriotism. Good listen is Trace Adkins at the ACM singing "Til The Last Shots Fired"
Made in America and Courtesy of the Red,White, and Blue are two others that he did
Patriotism is definitely not as strong as it used to be.
