I spent a whole summer in Mannheim visiting family and spending time seeing Castles, visiting a friend's farm and picking raspberries in the Black Forest. My grandma made jam out of it. I've never been across the pond! The year before covid hit my son and the ministry he traveled & sang with for over 3yrs went to Israel. We were supposed to go with them the next year, in September, but that's when the world stopped & everything went nuts! So we never got to take that trip, and with the way things are there now, we probably never will🫤 My son loved it so much & still talks about it alot, its sad what's going on there now😕 We were also supposed to be going on a cruise, but covid struck just months before. I told my husband that was a good sign, that we wet supposed to go across!😳 The flowers there in Spital are so vibrant & gorgeous! The buildings/churches & gardens were all so pretty! And of course I love the mountain scenery! I think the mountains are my Fav creation God made! They're beautiful anywhere you see them😊 Those views of the mountains behind the lake is just stunning! The homes are beautiful too.. like you said, the window boxes full of flowers were gorgeous! Even the swans were beautiful🦢💐 Thank you for sharing this trip & all the stunning beauty with us!😊

Visited Austria for Christmas a few years ago and spent a couple days in Hallstatt. We noticed a lot of Chinese tourists and were told the Chinese love Hallstatt so much that a developer recreated Hallstatt in China, complete with mountain and lake. Did the Sound of Music tour in Salzburg. Such a beautiful country. So much to see.
Österreich!! We spent 2 weeks in Bavaria in 2018, and were supposed to spend 3 weeks there in 2020 but...lol. We did a day trip to Austria while there, and it was so beautiful. My dream is to move there one day.
Austria is absolutely amazing. I loved your video . I can suggest you can come visit my small island country in the Mediterranean sea. We have loads of beautiful historical places and if you visit in the summertime our sea is BEAUTIFUL even if i say so. I know exactly whatcha mean....I traveled with my then BF to his 2nd home in FL for years several weekends until he retired. I can't tell you how many trips we took from Columbus OH airport to either Tampa FL or Sarasota FL airports! It's been since 2013 since I have flown! Weird I know but I would rather take the car. The only country I’ve been to is Austria ( I went to Innsbruck and Salzburg). I hope to visit France and Switzerland one day and since I don’t plan on ever having kids I’ll always be in shape to walk. I’m 32 and I have barely traveled. So disappointing. I want to have a husband so I can travel with him and never have kids
I'm also dairy free. You could eat the gelato?! Was it dairy free or didn't effect you?? I'm sad to travel anymore because it's so hard to order food without dairy and gluten.
